It was that time of the day again. It was time for Wilson to embark on another journey to try and attain another artifact to complete his set of armor. Granted, he still needed a few more pieces, but attaining one more piece for his collection brought him one step closer toward completion, right? He hummed pleasantly as he threw food and other needed supplies into his supplies and then strapped the back to his mount. It was a shame he kept losing horses on his trips, but maybe this time he would be a bit more fortunate and actually keep his horse for the entire duration of the trip. He supposed he would just have to wait and see what Fate had in store for him.

To his dismay, as soon as Wilson left Camelot he encountered another wild boar on the road. It was weird how big these animals could grow to sometimes. Was it him, or was it nearly the size of his own mount? It was a terrifying thing to think about, but regardless he dismounted and drew his bow. He took a deep breath and fired off as many arrows as he could in order to fell the creature. Eventually it was slain, but not without managing to run Wilson over a few times. Ouch. He winced and climbed back onto the horse.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 30 YOUR HP: 20

And then it was the Winding Forest. The path was winding, as usual. The forest was aptly named, Wilson thought wryly as he slowly made his way through the forest for who knew how long. He had been through the forest so many times now, the trees and pathways were starting to blend together into one. It was beginning to distract him in a way, and perhaps that was why he failed to catch sight of the dark figure in the distance. Moments later would reveal to Wilson that the figure was actually a giant spider. Of course, he frantically ran away from it, but ended up losing supplies over it.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 25 YOUR HP: 20

He remembered that on his previous journeys he would occasionally find food abandoned on the road. Granted, such incidences were quite rare and his journeys were usually filled with troubles, but such fortunate events were always welcomed. It made him happy to gain more food or other supplies to help him on his journey. Again, as he climbed up the mountains with his horse he managed to find a crate in the middle of the road. Curious, Wilson dismounted his horse and cautiously approached it, but once he realized there was no one dangerous hiding inside the box, he decided to sift through its contents and realized that it had food that had yet to grow spoiled. Delighted, he decided to take some for himself and went about on his merry way toward the mountain summit in hopes of retrieving another piece of artifact for his collection.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 35 YOUR HP: 20

Here he was again. How many times had he managed to climb to the top of this mountain? How many times had he managed to walk away with an artifact with him? How many times had he ended up failing at the top and having to retry later on? It was something he wasn’t too fond of thinking of, so he decided to just focus on the task at hand and grab the artifact. He hummed with satisfaction—at least, he thought he hummed—but soon realized that he must not have hummed, but shouted instead. His face paled when he felt the ground shake and he realized he had somehow triggered yet another avalanche. Frantically, he ran down the mountain with his horse.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 35 YOUR HP: 10
