Well.
That monster was definitely much larger than he was used to - the other two weren't quite as large. Clearing his throat, Eldrid looked around him, making sure Abbi hadn't followed him this far, before grabbing his pick.
He . . . He could totally do this.

There was a flicker of blue, something leaping off a large rock in the arena as the beast attacked the other knight. The flickering cape of blue landed beside the beast, a black sword slicing through the monsters side.
Sammy rolled after the attack, not a very clean roll but she popped back up beside the other knight.
"A pick isn't exactly the best weapon for beast hunting. Didn't wana see that thing eat you up. It had taken a while for Imbere to even try to set foot in the arena. It was frightening, but hey, she had to outgrow her diapers someday-- why not today? With a controlled expression, she leapt into the battle field-- only to see another monster a nearby. Three others were fighting against it... Maybe, she could join them? Safety in numbers and all that. "Hey. You guys look like you need help." Or so she thought! As soon as she tried to attack, she missed! Way to look worthless!

He had suddenly a little entourage fo fighters with him, and it was surprising and rather comforting to him in the long run. Turning to the first warrior, he gave her a smooth grin, nodding his head.
"You say that, but it's not the weight or size, but how you use it." He regaled, going to pull up the weapon again, waiting for the right opening, and clocking the creature as hard as he could with it, jumping back so he wouldn't take too much damage, turning to the other members.
"More the merrier, a pleasure to have you both!" Sammy held her sword high to the other two joining the fight before turning back to the beast, it lashed about on the ground squirming and hissing in rage at them, but sammy made no move to get away from it as the stranger lifted his pick again.
Jumping back herself she lashed out cutting a gash along the beast as it passed. She took her sword in both hands digging in deep ripping flesh and bone asunder before turning away, her cloak splattered in filth. "Fair enough, you handle a pick well." Glancing over toward the seemingly friendly warrior, Imbere tried to jab at it, only to miss. "Likewise," She responded, and looking at the other female, the female with vitiligo on her face arched a brow. "Yeah, perfect. Just-- hard to hit. Dumb monster," She growled, squeezing her spetum a little tighter from anger.

Watching Sammy as she worked her magic, he tried to step in tune with her, hoping that he would get the magic on that one - and it worked!
Smacking the poor thing in the end, he jumped back again, he pulled away to look at the other two again, "It's crazy how lithe such a large monster can be, right?" He offered to the vitiligo marked knight. The beast was squirming on the ground as the pick dug into it again. Sammy took her time walking up to it flipping her sword over in a reversed grip. She stood over the beasts head as she plunged the blade into it's skull stopping the last of its thrashing for good.
"I take back what I said, you're good with that pick." She marched over to the other knight offering a hand, "My names Samantha," she turned to the other two waving as well, "If you need someone in the arena, or outside. You can call on me."

Going to shake her hand, Elly grinned like he had just won the lottery - if he had a tail, it'd be wagging like a happy puppy. "Eldrid, that's my name, a pleasure to meet you, all." He stated, looking the three of them.
"I'm always willing to help, if needed. I also have many healing options, if you find yourself in the need of a fix up."

"Glad to be of help!" Quillan said to the other male knight, although it had mostly been him and the red-haired female who did most of the attacking. "Sorry I couldn't do anything more." He then gave his name. "Nice to meet you Samantha and Eldrid, I'm Quillan!" He turned to the last knight, hoping he could add her name too to the growing list of knights he'd met recently.

She was tempted not to offer her help again, but then again... every good knight needed allies to some extent. With dull eyes, the apprentice-knight nodded at all their introductions and noted them for future reference. "Samantha, Eldrid, and Quillian... huh. I'm Imbere. The same goes for all of you." Rubbing her neck, she blinked and added-- "I'll try and help next time, I guess. Dumb monster was too fast."

Sammy nodded at each knight in turn. "this wasn't too bad I should patch up fine after this but thanks for the offer Eldrid." Moving to the beast she ripped her sword from its head cleaning it on its side before sheathing and moving to pat the other two knights on the shoulders. "Practice. You'll only get better. I'll see you all again here soon I hope."
