Now this was a real fight. No silly tiny shadows or annoyances eating his ankles. This creature was real, tough and menacing. Just the way Bradley liked it. His war-scythe gave him a good amount of reach, such that the beast's claws couldn't get to him. His jaws, on the other hand were a different story. He dodged right and left, jabbing the creature with his scythe, once twice, four times.
In retailation, the beast slashed at him with his hind legs, tearing his sleeve and drawing blood. The Red Knight Apprentice grinned widely and spun his weapon.

Bradley found absolutely nothing among the corpse of the beast, even with it's head exploded. Nothing, nada. Well, he wasn't one to warrant prizes. Having the beast dead was reward enough.
