It had been pure luck that his last adventure had not ended multiple times in dysentery. It had happened before and quite frankly, he was sure that it was going to happen again, if not this time, it will happen. It seemed to be the end of all things: dysentery. Or perhaps he was being over dramatic. The dysentery wasn't that bad, oh no, it was that bad, but that was really just one bad run, wasn't it? And he hadn't touched the huge turnip that he received from the old man claiming to be a wizard, so theoretically, he should be fine stomachwise this time right?
He glanced down into his pack of food. Yes, the guild master had given him a decent amount to go on. Cress had gotten a hang of these quests now, and he supposed that this amount of food should generally be enough unless there were some obnoxious circumstance like if an army of squirrels mugged him and stole all his food...no, there was no way that that could happen. That would be just ridiculous.

[Step 1]
Cress was doing the usual quest things. Speaking of quest things, it seemed to have a gotten dull at this point. In the beginning, the thought of a quest was in itself intriguing, adventurous, dangerous, but by this point, there was danger, sure, but that was rabid squirrels and spiders and booby traps, and after having encountered them so much as of late, they were not all that interesting. At the same time, the only pressing danger seemed to be that of dysentery which despite all means of preparation and caution, there seemed to be no way to get away from it once dysentery chose you as his/her/its target. It was all very aggravating, and he was still pondering these thoughts when he fell off a ******** class="quote">QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 33 YOUR HP: 30

Cress clung onto the tree root desperately as to not fall to his demise, and some of the food fell out. Thankfully, it was just a hunk of cheese, so no big deal. There was still enough food enough. He pulled himself up hastily. He need to work his muscles more.

[Step 2]
Cress was trudging along in exhaustion. Falling off a cliff and having to pull himself up again was quite tiring. And of course, it was at this point in time that his horse decided that he was a total rebel and dumped Cress on his a** and ran off to hang out with the ladies. Cress facepalmed. Well, he would have to finish the rest of the journey alone.

[Step 3]
Cress was still cursing the absence of his horse as he trudged up the dwarven mountains. There was something innately disturbing of having to step on human bones occasionally since there was nowhere else to put his foot. He didn't like the sound of the crunch the bones made. He looked at all the remains wearily. One day,if he kept on going on the quests like these, he was going to end up like them, wasn't he? It was at this point that his horse decided to come back and kick him in the shin. It then mugged him of some food and ran off again.

[Step 4]
Cress was exhausted when he arrived at the mountaintop. There was the stupid artifact, right there, on that stupid hill. He climbed up slowly, and of course, the adventure had something else in store for him. No, not dysentery, it was the eagles. Not the awesome eagles that showed up right at the nick of time and saved the heroes from dying in the fiery depths of an erupting volcano, no, these eagles attacked him, and he fell off said hill in the midst and injured himself all so terribly. Cursing, he got up and trudged up the hill once more. Thankfully, the eagles had decided that he was not worthy prey and had flown off to troll someone else. He picked the dumb Greater Mantle of the Datura (flower) and trudged back to Camelot
