At this point Abbi didn't even have to ask the Guild Master for a quest, he just shoved one at her as soon as she approached his desk and began to open her mouth. A mischievous smile slips out and she is at least kind enough not to say anything as she takes the paper, curtsies briefly, and scurries off on her way. Going on a quest alone was rather boring, so after she had packed her bag for food, but before she'd gone to fetch her horse, Abbi set about finding a questing partner. It turned out that she was quite particular to tall people and approached a dark haired man. "Good day, Sir. Care to join me in an adventure? I cannot at all promise your safety, but I suspect it will be a spot of fun." The girl dipped into a quick, customary curtsey before she smiled up at him. "If we are lucky you will return with your hair still in tact... Unless you wish for the other side to be shaved off and I am sure there is some monstrous creature who would delight in doing so for you." Yes she was trying to make a joke. After his first wonderful failure of going out on a quest Matt was less reluctant in doing it again, but the thought not obtaining one of the artifacts bothered him more. He had to do something to help, and being useless and moping wasn’t really the answer. Instead he headed back over to the stables after getting a batch of food from the guild master. This time he hoped that he had a little more than the previous expedition out. Now he was merely standing in front of the old gray nag again, questioning if he should take something swifter and younger, something that could be quick or if he should bother taking her again. She had at least brought him back to safety last time, and despite the fact he was sure she was on the verge of completely collapsing and ending on the ground Matthias was pretty sure wasn’t entirely the worse horse in the world. He stood there still pondering before a voice spoke, asking about joining along in an adventure. Turning around he didn’t see her at first realizing she at least almost a foot shorter than him. “Yea.. sure why not. I didn’t do so well my first time so maybe it will go better with company right? Anyways I am Matthias, or Matt which ever you choose. “ He gave her quick short bow to go along with her curtsey before giving her a grin. “No I think I would like to keep my hair at the moment or at least what I have left of it. I sort of singed the other side… by accident…”Quest Status Remaining Food: 27 Remaining HP: 30/30

"Company makes everything better. And its lovely to meet you Sir! Which do you prefer? The shorter or the longer?" She grinned up at him before giving a polite nod. "You may call me Abbi! I have a longer name too, but I prefer Abbi so that is what we'll use." Her smile turned a bit mischievous before she stepped back and toward a blonde pony that had been brought out for her.
"Oh dear! That sounds like a dreadfully entertaining story... Would you mind my asking after it while we trek together?"
With all their supplies set, the girl began them on their path, walking alongside her horse sedately and not at all noticing he was edging her slowly off the side of the path. It wasn't until she misstepped and lost her footing that she remembered how murderously intent her pony had been.
Hopefully the kind, very tall knight wouldn't mind helping a scrambling Abbi back off the side of the cliff and to safety.

"I ought to turn you out to the shadows! Leave you on the top of the mountain! This is your fault, you know!" Abbi admonished her horse in her harshest tone, one that fell just short of honestly angry because, well, look at its eyes! They were so big and they sort of looked apologetic and...
The teen huffed angrily and folded her arms, but wasn't angry long once the horse tried to nibble on her hair and she giggled.
"Thank you for your help." She told Matt with a sheepish smile.

“Well it is a pleasure to meet you Lady Abbi, you are more than welcome to just call me Matt, Matthias sounds a little…serious.” Giving her a wide smile he returned her nod as he settled on taking the old gray nag again. At least she wouldn’t leave him along to die, maybe. “Oh most certainly but I don’t think you will find it so entertaining I mean it was more of me being dumb and a little gun-ho with a camp fire.” Gathering up his supplies he followed the girl out on the path trailing behind her not really paying any more attention to where he was going other than making sure he stayed behind her. Last time he had encountered some evil bear so hopefully she had better luck than he did. When she stumbled near the edge Matt tried to rush forward, not paying any attention to the yellow and black bees swarming near their precious little nest. It wasn’t until he smacked into it that he had realized they even existed, of course the old nag was not al all happy with the notion of small stinging creatures lingering near her ears. Rearing back with some new found energy Matt never knew she had he tumbled off pack and all as she broke away rushing in some direction that wasn’t near him. “Sorry…. Sorry…. I have crap luck I am sorry I should have told you,” he said getting to his feet, “and no worries. I don’t think I am helping you a whole lot tho.”Quest Status Remaining Food: 60 Remaining HP: 30/30

"Oh." The disappointment over his lack of a great story was clear in her face and voice, but Abbi gave him a very serious nod a moment later. "I'm going to pretend it was something much more important." And maybe they could even think of something together!
There wasn't much time to discuss it since there were bees to deal with and though Abbi's horse hadn't run off, she was not feeling so wonderfully. This was happening a lot to her and she was starting to get a bit worried about herself.
"I ah... I am very sorry." The teen wobbled on the path, passing a hand over her forehead. "I am not... Not feeling myself, you see... I... I should go."
Since she did not want to lose her lunch right in front of the handsome knight she quickly grabbed her horse and turned back on the path.
"I wish you the best of luck!" She called back at him before she dodged behind a tree to whine about how dreadfully she felt.
It didn't help she felt horrifically guilty over leaving him to his own devices...
