With the quest a success, Uru donned on the Greater Gauntlets of Loup and headed to the court yard. The quartermaster was offering requests to the apprentices of Camelot. The twenty-five year old was still alone on these errands, but he was okay with that. Though, he could do better with some company. Perhaps he just has to find the right one... Nodding to the quartermaster as he was handed food, Uru returned to the stables to fetch Cedric, his dark stallion.
"Eleven rations. Think that'd be enough, buddy?" He inquired. It was silly to talk to a horse, but who else was there to talk to? It'd be awfully boring otherwise. Cedric's huffing neigh was an answer. Uru chuckled as he saddled up. "Alright, lets see if we can find this... artifact."

Rolling a 1: You accidentally slip, almost fall to your demise off a mountain cliff, and drop some of the food! Roll 1d6 to see how much food you lost. The rocky terrain outside of Camelot was not missed, but it served a good purpose. It made it more difficult for armies to get to the kingdom. It gave a sort of defense. Even he was having difficulties traversing it. With a crack, Cedric gave a panicked buck, throwing off his rider. Uru had barely managed to grab hold of the ledge, but the falling rocks had cut into his pack as he watched some of his rations lost to the crevasse below. "This is going to be more taxing.." He jested as he pulled himself up. Food: 11/11 HP: 30/30

Cedric remained silent as he pressed on. Jeez, when did he get so judgey?

"CEDRIC! SERIOUSLY!" Uru cried as he sat on the forest path floor. Apparently, something had cracked nearby, a stick or something. It wasn't enough to spook the horse. It was the dozen or so that followed oddly later that made the horse silently buck up, turn, and gallop off. For sake of the Great King! Getting to his feet, he was certain that this quest was going to be more taxing than ever. JEEZ!

The dwarven mountains are known to be booby trapped. He knew that much. He found out the hard way last time when an axe nearly took his head off. However, he was going to be more careful this time and take it slow and easy. He would have to eat more of his rations to get through the day, but it will be fine. He had hoped. Uru pressed on up the mountain with rather eventful happenings. It was with he had felt his foot give under him that he thought he was going to fall down the mountain. It was on this instinct to throw himself against the wall when an axe came at him - directly toward the arm that he was using to brace himself against the mountain. Drawing his blade, he parried the swinging axe, nearly spun himself off the mountain, then throwing himself against the wall again. Face first.
"I hate this quest already..."

"Hello, wary traveler, I see that you are on a quest" he said. "You must be a long ways from home. Must be running out of supplies." he said.
"How do you know?" Uru had asked.
"I am a wizard, my boy!" he had claimed.
"I lost my horse, thus my rations have been diminishing. I had enough to get here - to the summit, but I am not sure if I will have enough to get back, I'm afraid." Uru had responded.
"Then here, you may have this! Careful, it is conjured food. It will get you back to your home, but it will disappear after three days!" He laughed as he waved off Uru.
Uru had retrieved the artifact when he returned down the summit. There, Cedric stood with a note attached to his saddle. "I found him. Is he yours?"
Uru could not decide if he should believe he met a wizard... but he just might have.
