It was time to head out on a quest. A quest for stuff. Because stuff was nice. Meixiang grabbed some supplies and her horse. Checking the saddle for stability. And soon she was on her way.

As she made her way into the forest. Mei stopped for a small break. Her bottom was getting kind of sore. Sadly, something spooked her horse and it took off back for home.

Well there was only one thing to do. Continue on through the forest and into the mountains. They were big and looming. And clearly full of dangers at she stepped on a booby trap and barely missed being sliced in half by giant axes. OOC Food: 13 HP: 25/30 You accidentally step on a booby trap as giant axes start swinging at you!

The end was in sight. Mei began to climb the mountain. She could see her target in sight. But in her excitement she dropped all the food she had. Fail whale.

Having failed the first time, once Mei had returned home she gathered more food and got herself a brand new horse. And away we go~

Into the forest again. All of a sudden bees! BEEEEESSSSS! Everywhere bees. Her horse reared, knocking her off it's back and then took off into the distance. OOC Food: 29 Rolling a 3: You accidentally ride into a bees nest. BEEEEES. Your horse runs away, making it extremely hard on you. Every turn you take, you must subtract 5 food from the caravan. HP: 30/30

She had sat down for a small break. Taking out a bit of food Mei munched on it thoughtfully. All of a sudden a giant spider popped out of no where and scared the crap out of her. She took off from the spot, leaving whatever little food she had been eating on the ground. Somehow, somehow she had managed to step on the exact same booby trap as before. Mei was pretty sure she had lost a bit of hair from the swinging axes....there was a slight breeze on the back of her head. Tired and weary, she finally was able to start climbing the mountain. Her object in sight. She was so close, it was within her reach when all of a sudden a wave of sickness took over her. Having to return home because she suddenly became sick was kind of embarrassing. OOC Food: 9 Rolling a 3: You accidentally ride into a bees nest. BEEEEES. Your horse runs away, making it extremely hard on you. Every turn you take, you must subtract 5 food from the caravan. HP: 25/30 Rolling a 4: Just as you're about to touch the artifact, you catch some medieval version of dysentry and feel extremely sick. You need to be sent home IMMEDIATELY (QUEST FAIL for that person, they will have to retry again either single or with another group).

She was going to do it this time. This time she'd get an artifact. Gathering some food once more she climbed upon her horse and took off.

As if her luck wasn't bad enough a wild boar came rumbling out of the bushes. Squealing and snorting. It's mouth frothed with saliva. Eyes burning fire. She tried to go around but it was blocking her path. Her horse reared as the bore attacked. It seemed like she had only escaped by a sheer miracle. Rolling a 2: You encounter a wild *animal here* that is extremely rabid and ferocious. It blocks the path and attacks you! You take -10 damage!

This wasn't an unfamiliar place. Without her horse though it made the trek quite difficult. That and somehow she just kept finding the damn booby traps. Finally she made it to the mountain. Slowly making her way to the top. Nothing was going to stop her now. Except...there was a strange looking old man who claimed to be a mighty wizard. He handed her some food...which she really didn't need but ok? Before anything else could happen she grabbed the artifact and quickly took off back down the mountain for home. OOC Food: 24 HP: 15/30 Rolling a 3: Your horse gives up on you, running away. Every turn you take, you must subtract another additional 5 food from the caravan.
