"Maha! Get back here!" Her voice rang out as she chased the radaku pup through the forest. He had taken off after being frightened by a random noise. V'demhe wasn't even sure what the noise had been, she only knew it wasn't a natural one. Or rather it wasn't something that occurred without help from a person. She could barely see his backside as he darted farther and farther away from her and the sound that had spooked him. "Geeze.." She knew from experience that radaku pups were easily frightened, she'd managed to scare one when she was a youngling, but she hadn't expected the poor thing to take off quite literally like a bat out of hell and not stop. Bringing her hands up to cup around her mouth she'd call out for her familiar. "Maha!"

Aselia stretched her arms above her head as she strolled quietly through the forest. She wasn't fond of some of the places in Jauhar but unfortunately for the young Mystic she would have to travel through them regardless. Popoie flew gracefully ahead of the alkidike quietly settling to rest while Aselia took her time catching up.

The mystic was interested in the world beyond the isle and so had traveled to Jauhar on her way to tale. There was something there she was heavily interested in and desired to see the creature she sought with her own eyes. Shifters be cursed they weren't going to stop her on her way.

The radaku had continued to run and ended up heading straight for Aselia. Unable to stop his large thunder paws the blue beast toppled over. He would soon come to rest just at the Alkidike's feet. A few seconds later V'demhe would come crashing through the forest. "Maha-ah..." She had been mid yell when she'd set her eyes on the alkidike before her. "I hope he didn't bother you." Her eyes went to the radaku and she gave a small snap of her fingers to get his attention so that he would get up and come to her side.

Aselia stared at the beast as it came to a hault at her feet. She had seen these creatures before, even ridden one the first time she had come to Jauhar. That also meant she was fully aware of the destructive capabilities of the Radaku as a whole. Her eyes slowly lifting as she heard a voice in the distance. Ah, an Alkidike much like herself, a pleasant change from the shifters she had been encountering lately.

"I'm not easily bothered sister, he must be your familiar." Aselia noted scanning the Radaku over again. Her orbs focusing back on the younger Alkidike. Something about this woman was familiar but what. The markings were what made her appear familiar, and yet, she couldn't recognize the girls sense of style. Who was she. "Have we met before?"

She nodded her head to the first question. "Yes. He's still a pup and learning. I delivered him from his mother but she passed on before the two could meet." V'demhe thought she might explain a little about Maha before he was judged too harshly. After all, he basically had Dem for a mother. A poor example of a radaku she was. When asked if they had met before it took only a moment before she could nod her head once again. "We have, I was just a youngling then."

Aselia groaned thoughtfully, as a Mystic she had met just about every Alkidike there was. Remember everyone and their markings was overwhelming for her. Scratching the top of her head Aselia tried to mentally turn her brain over in search of clues about the youngling this girl would have been when meeting. "Forgive me sister, I have a very bad memory when it comes to everyone. There are so many of you to remember. And I've met so many younglings." She had even brought many of them into the world too. Was this Alkidike referring to that?

No that didn't seem like the correct answer. Dipping her chin to get a better look at the Radaku Aselia she had no opinion of the strange creatures either way. Popoie gave a soft chirp directed at the Radaku and fluffed her wings to introduce herself. Though Aselia remained quiet on the subject.

Maha tilted his head curiously at the tweeting bird. He replied with a whine but he managed to sit and behave. Now that he knew his owner would protect him he was content to simply sit. That didn't mean that if something spooked him from behind he wouldn't take off again. V'demhe smiled, amused at Aselia. "I was the little one in the market that stopped you to ask questions." There was a chuckle that came from her before she spoke up again. "I'm V'demhe."

What? WHAT!? That little girl? The one who had sought her out for advice on how to be a good Alkidike? The one who had been in trouble with her mother? This was that little girl? Had that much time really passed since Aselia had seen her. The Mystic blushed deeply and rubbed the back of her neck nervously. "Ahhahh. Forgive me V'demhe. I didn't recognize you, I mean the little girl I met didn't have lip rings and... well... all this." Aselia mentioned giving a sweeping motion across Dem's figure.

"You've really developed well. What brings you all the way out here?"

The mention of her lip ring had her instantly going to chew on it. "Haha, yea. Sorry. I sometimes forget about that." The sweeping motion had her looking down at herself before she looked back up at Aselia. "Yea, I hit a growth spurt." Dem chuckled. Maha took her laughter as a good thing and nosed at her hand.

That action had her looking down at her familiar before she lifted her hand to pat him on the head. "I want to move my mother to the mainland so I have been wandering around looking for a good place for her to live." Her shoulders came up before she looked back toward the mystic. "And you?" She was curious if there was something that she was looking for or out doing. Maybe it had something to do with Aisha?

Aselia took a deep breath and smiled at the Alkidike before her. A growth spurt was certainly an understatement. Chuckling Aselia pointed back towards the direction she had been coming from. "Andile is a good place, with many strong sisters. It's good to see some stretching their wings and populating Jauhar." Aselia nodded happily, rolling the her slender shoulders and shifting the quiver against her back.

The question wasn't one that anyone had asked her before. Where was she going? Aselia knew the answer to that, giving a distant look to V'demhe. Eshe had granted her permission to finally travel away from Aisha for a while. And it wasn't like she was all that necessary she stay. Eshe had things well under control, her own work was just an added bonus. Besides the older Mystic was currently the voice of Aisha and had reassured her that while she was young even she had traveled.

"Ah now that, I am in search of a great bird." Popoie gave a sound and Aselia shook her head. "No no, not a Kinfa. A suruhama, they are found in tale. I need to know more about them."

Andile. She had passed by that village. Perhaps she needed to rethink it and possibly stop in to see. Maybe her mother would like it there. She noticed the distant look on Aselia's face and waited until she answered. "A suruhama. Hm, never heard of one. Then again I am learning about the world beyond the isles." Dem chuckled slightly as she reached up to scratch at the back of her neck gently. It was slightly embarrassing to say she was only learning, but it was the truth. "Are you looking to study them or do you want to catch one?"

Aselia nodded as she seemed to be looking off into the distance again. Her thumb subconsciously lifted to brush along the markings on her arm. It wasn't surprising so few Alkidike knew of the Suruhama, it wasn't a creature known to them. And it seemed to be a diety to the people in Tale, of sorts at least. She wasn't too sure what kind of creature she would be able to find. If she could find it to start with. But she desperately wanted to see it, for it was because of it's feathers she was still alive.

"Both." Aselia answered in a clipped tone. She hadn't meant to come off so sharply but that was just how things were with her. Blinking and turning to look at V'demhe again Aselia nodded. "Do not worry so much about the creatures that have no concern with our kind. They are merely a type of fire bird. Rare, or so I'm told."

She couldn't help the chuckle that came from her. "Well if you are looking for said bird then wouldn't it have concern with our kind?" She asked idly. V'demhe moved from where she was standing and toward the mystic. Her eyes had dropped to the color of Aselia's markings. They were pretty. "Are you traveling by yourself? You should be careful with the rumors spreading in the area."
PostPosted: Sat May 09, 2015 7:51 am

Aselia narrowed her eyes. "I don't see how my personal travels have anything to do with you." She didn't mean to be so sharp with how she spoke, not really, she just didn't like her sisters prying into every moment of her life. They all seemed to know who she was, what she was, everything about her. Unlike her, they all had lives they could keep separate from one another and yet her life was a wide open book to them. That had bothered her.

Flicking the string of her bow Aselia narrowed her gaze on the younger Alkidike. "What rumors?" She had no knowledge of any harmful rumors in the area, at least any that could bring harm to her body anyway. "I travel alone for the most part though I do have a friend, Neibet. She travels with me from time to time." A smirk moved upon her face as she continued to regard V'dehme. "Are you offering your services?"

The mystic had a sharp tongue. One that had V'demhe pausing where she was to twitch her antennae at her. Still, with Aselia getting her hackles raised at the question had the alkidike smirking on her own. "You are a sister. It's not your travels that interest me, just your interaction with a fire bird. Had you been any other sister I would have been equally concerned." Dem did still care for her race a great deal even if she liked the hybrids she found.

"It appears that there is some hostility between the sisters and the earthlings, and because of such a thing there have been some fights." She lifted her shoulders at it all but she seemed to stop midway as the mystic mentioned Neibet. V'demhe couldn't help the slight curl in her lip at the thought of the woman. Ever since she was a youngling she hadn't been overly fond of Neibet or Maya. Both had made her feel like a failure. "Are you asking for my services?" Dem gave a wink to Aselia playfully.
