In a small suburban town a community of teens and adults work through their problems whether it be at home, school, or internal/mental issues.
The town may be small but it includes schools K-12, 1 boy's home, 1 girl's home across the street from each other for Foster children, and even a small name college on the outskirts just before the main highway meets the city nearby. Whether you've just moved in, or are friends/aqaintances of the 'main' characters, you're sure to find what you need in this Walk-In RP

An Announcement for all looking to join!! This has now been established as a WALK-IN RP It began with the six 'main' characters below, but due to lack of activity it has been decided to make this an rp where all can join and you can be anyone in the town whether it be another teenager, adult, teacher, parent, and anyone else you can think of that you are in the mood for. This is a very down to earth roleplay, and is super casual.
HOWEVER if you don't follow the rules, you will be blacklisted. This means that you will be ignored by the other characters until you begin to obey the rules again. I really ask that everyone help support this to keep out people that may hinder the progression of the rp and everyone else's posts.
USE!!! The OOC to plot and help inspire ideas from events in the lives of the characters you are involved with such as: Concerts, School Finals, Talent Shows, Car crashes, and even a death of an NPC that affects one or more characters. There are plenty of ideas to circulate around the OOC and integrate into the rp!
DO NOT be afraid to utilize NPCs. It can seem boring, but it really does help move a post along.
Look at the profiles in the next post to view the active characters in the story that you can interact with at any time - judging by their recent posts of course. ((For now, I am unsure if anyone but mine and Xelyn's characters that are active atm. You are free to interact witheither Titus or Cyrus though until I hear news on everyone else))

Cyrus - Boy 1 - FemmeValentine
Name - Cyrus Alman Age - 18 Good traits - 1. He's perceptive/notices things that are otherwise overlooked 2. Pretty good at art 3. Other than having a great smile, he is amiable, friendly, charming... Bad traits - 1. Self deprecating/abusive 2. Lacks control over his anger(a hair trigger emotion for him) 3.Rebellious and distrustful of adults Problem(s) they are struggling with - He is still dealing with childhood abuse, and being moved from home to home as a foster child. He is dealing with feelings of alienation, feeling less than, pathetic, weak, and tends to overcompensate as if trying to prove everyone wrong about him, but those moments are weighed down by believing that his internal feelings of self deprecation are deserved, and he won't amount to anything more than a tossed around child in the system. He's recently turned eighteen and is a senior in highschool, and has absolutely no idea where his life is headed, only reinforcing his negative attitude for life. Ada - Girl 1 - Luvly1
Name - Adelaide Jean Stone (AKA Ada) Age - 17 Good traits - 1. Loyal. Loyalty is something she doesn't lack. Especially when it comes to her friends. 2. Great listener. Need to talk? Ada's more than willing to lend an ear. 3. Fearless. She's the first to jump in when the outcome is unknown. Bad traits - 1. Mouthy. Many times she lets her mouth run away from her, and that can get her into trouble from time to time. 2. Reckless. This coincides with her fearlessness. Sometimes she jumps into the wrong things. 3. Vices. She recently picked up smoking cigarettes and marijuana. Claims it calms her nerves. Problem(s) they are struggling with - Ada grew up with four brothers, three of which ended up in jail, and the fourth died just last year in an 'accident'. Many times she recalls her brother's death, having been one of the ones with him at the time. On top of that, she's a bit too rough around the edges. Growing up the youngest of five, she was picked on a lot by her brothers, and had to learn quickly to fend for herself. Crush? - ???

Name - Zek Age - 17 Good traits - 1. Honest 2. Loyal 3. Kind Bad traits - 1. Awkward 2. Never reveals how he really feels to anyone, not wanting to be a burden. So he pretends to be happy or cheerful 3. Sometimes let rage get the best of him Problem(s) they are struggling with - Zek was born blind and never really knew his parents since they left him at the orphanage. There he was bullied constantly as he tried to learn how to deal with his problems. Playing the piano always brought his mind to peace. At some point when he was about eight, he ended up going into the foster care system. One of the families he stayed with, the wife had worked as a vet. She brought back a stray dog that had been turned in and was about to be put down. The dog was a german shepherd, Zek took a liking to him and so the wife started to train the dog, now named Bullet, in her free time to act as a guide dog for Zek. After staying there for about two months Zek returned back from school to the house. As he entered there was a strong smell of blood and he could hear Bullet whimpering in the other room. When he entered he headed over to Bullet to find out what the dog wanted. Feeling around his hand landed on the body of the husband. He called the police but there was no saving them, on that day both of his foster parents had been murdered. Regrettably returning to the orphanage and the foster system all he wants is to get out of there. Crush? - no one yet

Name - Cody Ivory Age - 19 Good traits - 1. Caring 2. Brave 3. Independent Bad traits - 1. Disloyal. Every woman for herself. 2. Argumentative. She likes to use her words. 3. Violent. She also likes to use her fists. Problem(s) they are struggling with - At a young age, Cody was raped by her older step-brother and never really recovered from the incident. With a low self-esteem already and little trust in the male race, she was bullied for dressing as a boy from middle to highschool. Eleventh grade she had enough and ran away to join the military, however, her bad attitude and air of demanding dominance got her kicked out. Crush? - Conflicting Crush on Titus and Cyrus

Name - Titus Feaghan Age - 17 Good traits - 1. He's friendly and kind, very accepting of others 2. Is a good actor and uses his impressions to make other's laugh 3. He makes a good shoulder to cry on and is always the first to comfort another Bad traits - 1. He's a liar. All that positivity is just an act and he knows how to use it to his advantage 2. Despite being a good actor, he wears his heart on his sleeve and is very vulnerable 3. Severe depression and anxiety plague him underneath that fake smile Problem(s) they are struggling with - Titus suffers an inferiority complex because he is the youngest in his large family and is treated like a baby. He is terrified of disappointing anyone and has very bad anxiety revolving around this. He tries to hide his shyness behind the mask of a class clown and goofball but in large groups of people (usually parties) he breaks down. His depression causes him to cut on himself to try and numb the pain and "toughen up". Once his parents found out about this they put him on a whole ton of antidepressant drugs and now force him to see a counselor on a weekly basis, which only makes him feel like there is even more wrong with him and eats at his self confidence worse than before. Karis - Girl 3 - your classic mess
Name - Karis "Kris" Feaghan Age - 18 Good traits - 1. Has a pretty voice and loves to play guitar. 2. Tends to be very carefree, fun, and wild at any moment. 3. Is an absolute dork in the best way possible! Bad traits - 1. As pretty as her voice is, it can say some pretty nasty stuff. 2. Often isolates herself and doesn't listen to others. Inconsiderate. 3. Way too manipulative and uses every aspect of herself to get what she wants. Problem(s) they are struggling with - Kris was always the middle child and often the one most forgotten. Her older siblings were the only ones who seemed "normal" to their family and so they were the favorites usually. No one knew anything of their older sister's alcoholism or their older brother's heroine addiction. Then her younger brother was caught cutting himself and so, of course, everyone in the family started babying him. Wasting so much money and resources to make sure he was "happy." But no one ever bothers to worry about little Kris. She's been off on her own for most of her life taking care of herself. With no good role models to guide her, no one to teach her right or wrong, she discovered things for herself. She lies, cheats, hooks up, and does just about anything for any kind of attention. All she wants to do is runaway... Crush? - No one at the moment...
Cyrus shifted his light backpack, and made his way through the crowded hallways. As soon as he exited the building, he pulled his hood up and over his head, shielding his dark grey eyes in the shadow it cast over his face. Today wasn't a bad day, but even a good day for him had undertones of his depressing outlook on life and himself in general so that wasn't really saying much. He found the small platform, and retaining wall near the outskirts of the school campus, and where all of his other friends often gathered during breaks from class. He was the first one there, but that didn't bother him. He found a seat on the concrete platform and let his backpack fall off of his shoulders. Taking out his sketchbook, he made himself comfortable and began to doodle aimlessly, his mind on other things.

Thank God the school day was over. Adelaide always felt suffocated in the walls of the school. With her backpack hanging over a shoulder, she pulled a carton of cigarettes from one of the pockets and a lighter. She wasn't even out the school door before she was sticking a stick between her lips. She of course refrained from lighting it until she was outside. That first drag was always the best. She held it almost too long, exhaling a bit heavily. As she approached the back where she and her friends typically met, she saw Cyrus sitting down sketching. Digging in the pocket of her jeans, she found a gum wrapper, and tossed it at him before she approached him. "I see you beat everyone here. Again." She gave him a smile before tossing her bag on the ground with his and dropping to the floor to sit beside, but downwind of him.
He saw her shadow before he heard her footsteps crunching across the asphalt. He looked up from his sketch and smiled halfheartedly.
"Yep. You're slow. Must be why you guys are in the special ed classes." He chided amiably, returning his gaze back to his sketch. The picture was mostly lines, but the shape of eyes yet to be filled in were distinguishable. "You sharing that?" He asked, meaning the cigarette. The area they had settled in while waiting for the rest of their friends to join them didn't get much traffic, but a few students passed by.

Ada gave an exaggerated laugh at his jest, and took a long drag before handing the stick over to him. "You want that or something else?" She had a secret stash of her weed in her bag, and part of her was looking for an excuse to break it out.
Moving a bit, Adelaide looked to see what he was drawing. "You drawing her?" She leaned back to lay in the warm concrete.
He gratefully accepted the cigarette, and took sat back slightly to take a drag from it, and to keep any stray ash from falling onto his sketchbook. "Sure wouldn't mind something else." He replied.
"Drawing who?" He asked, looking over at her with a sidelong glance. The clouds above were gray and cast a gloomy light down on the world around them with the promise of rain. He was looking forward to it, the recent summer days were already getting hot and Spring was barely over. He handed the cigarette back.

"Our family is f***** up,"Cody said to no one in particular. She'd been laying on her mother's couch lazily all day without a motivated bone in her body. Her parents were divorced after father cheated and then he proceeded to marry the younger woman who spawned the devil himself, her step-brother. Cody didn't make a habit of seeing her father, in fact, she wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole. She preferred the small feminine apartment that smelled of potpourri, covered with doilies and frequented visits by her mother's long-term girlfriend, Jenna. Wedding bells were in the near future...again.
Cody looked at her phone and realized the time when she finally gave up being a lazy adolescent and got up, ignoring any makeup or even bothering to fix her hair. Dressing herself and grabbing a pack of beer she made her way outside and took her skateboard down the road towards her old high school. She hated the place and was glad she didn't go back after being kicked out of the military. Of course there was the exception of hanging out with her friends. "What's up |3itches?" She asked, rolling up towards the platform and wheeling to a stop. "Drinks anyone?"

The second Cyrus said he wouldn't mind something else, Adelaide rolled over to her bag and grabbed the baggie that was hiddin within. Laying on her stomach, she rolled a joint. She was just finishing doing so when he questioned her words.
Just as she opened her mouth to speak, Cody showed up, keeping her from answering Cyrus's question. "Yay! Refreshments." Putting the joint in her mouth, she lit it and put out the cigarette. After taking a long hit, she handed it over to Cyrus, then held out a hand to Cody for a beer.

Cody surprised the hell out of him, and Cyrus barely had enough time to close his sketchbook. He looked up, and grinned in order to cover up the momentary upset.
"Hey Cody," He greeted her, and accepted the joint from Ada shortly after. He mumbled a yes as he took a hit off the joint. and passed it over to Cody in turn. He wasn't much of a beer drinker himself, and preferred juice or energy drinks, or even hard liquor, but he hated not being able to hang so he also accepted a beer.
Titus rubbed his temples and gave a slight groan as he stuffed his binder into his beat up backpack and flung it over his shoulder. As he exited the school, he noticed a group of familiar faces over in their usual spot. Making a beeline for them, he could already smell the smoke in the air. "You hopeless addicts. Mixing drugs and drinks I see." His smile gave away the act of scolding as he folded his legs underneath him and took a seat on the pavement there with his friends.
"Hey, Cody. Come to join us prisoners? If I were free of this place I would never come back." He waved at her with his usual smile plastered on his face while slipping his backpack off of his shoulder and dropping it on the ground carelessly. It was full of extra homework he had earned himself by goofing off in class once again that day and he wasn't too careful with it's contents. In fact, he was secretly hoping the bag might spontaneously set fire and he wouldn't have to do the work inside designed for his punishment.

Cody handed her friends' a beer and in return, confiscated the joint. Exhaling four smoke rings, Cody leaned up against the chain link fence just as Titus joined in on the fun. "Last time I checked, I was in charge of this Mother F***** before I went AWOL. I'm just as trapped as you inmates."Cody winked at Titus before taking another drag. This wasn't the ideal life and she agreed with Titus. Honestly, she preferred hanging out with these losers instead of at home where her mother was raving about wedding plans. Cody rolled her eyes and stuck her hand in her pocket and clasped it around her pocket knife out of habit. Love was an illusion and one she wasn't gonna be drawn in to. However, the curly blonde haired liar tickled her fancy, and Ada was easy on the eyes too, thanks to her mother's influence. But what did she know? She's felt like nothing more than a toy that could be discarded after use. The military disposed of her too when she wasn't good enough. So Cody didn't really respect herself as a person, just like no one else has. So instead, she had a bad habit of replacing love with lust and even made Titus an offer once. Who could ever love me for me anyway? Taking another drag, "So how was hell?"

Adelaide had to work to hide the laughter that wanted to bubble over at Cyrus's response to Cody's sudden appearance. His actions were answer enough to the question she'd previously asked him.
Still holding in the smoke, she took the beer offered from Cody, and smirked at Titus's words. Releasing the smoke in a smooth exhale, she shrugged, "What else do we have but drugs and drinks?" She was only partly joking at her words. Opening her beer, she took a sip and leaned back on her elbows to watch her friends. Hearing Cody's question, she shrugged, "It was hell," she responded with a mumble.
