She was getting better. She was learning how to lure out the ones who were causing problems, learning how to get their attention off their intended victim and onto her. Sometimes, it was as simple as being the witness they didn't want. Other times, it was the seeming promise of a new person to corrupt.
None of them suspected she'd drain them and leave them for the police to find. Sphalerite didn't like energy-draining, but it gave her another weapon against the people who made the city unsafe. And one day...it would help her be strong enough to really make a difference, she hopes, against the senshi. And maybe help a few Knights see that they were helping the wrong people. [The vague dreams and not-memories that made no sense wouldn't win. Wouldn't shake her resolve.]
She'd managed to get a gang member to one side, away from the kid who was trying to quit [she'd heard the conversation], who was trying to make their life better. And he was nearing the point where she could leave him at the side of the building to sleep off his draining and where the police would be able to find him.
She wasn't expecting any company.

Hyperborea had been patrolling when she felt a weak chaos aura nearby. She diverted from the route she had chosen for the night to try and intercept them. A Lieutenant. she thought. I haven't run into one yet but it must be one. Hyperborea hoped they would be like Astro or Merlinite, innocent people trapped by chaos. However the scene she found when she reached the source of the aura dashed her hopes.
She saw a young negaverse agent pulling energy from a man who almost unconscious. I've got to save him. had Hyperborea known that this man was gang member who had been threatening a kid she might have paused, she might have handled things differently, more calmly. But as things stood she didn't have that context all she saw was a negaverse agent hurting a civilization because she either was bad like painite, she didn't understand what she was doing was wrong, or she didn't think she could escape chaos and had to do what the negaverse told her. which ever it was Hyperborea couldn't let this continue.
"Arrêtez!" She shouted as she charged the girl. She ducked under the older girl's arms and drove her shoulder into her gut while pulling her legs out from under her slamming her down on the hard ground. "Monsieur if you can run go now!" She called out to the downed man before turning her attention back on the girl. "I don't know if your doing this because you think you have to or you don't know the harm your doing. But it stops now!" She said as she held her forearm against the girls neck. She didn't use enough pressure to actually choke her just enough to hold her down.

DAMMIT! Sphal made a noise of pain as the other knocked her down and promptly held her neck hostage. "You idiot! I was leaving him for the police to deal with!" Crapcrapcrap, this wasn't good! This kid had no idea what she was interrupting, and OUCH THAT HURT! "He was harassing a kid who was trying to leave a gang!" Maybe if the other girl knew what was going on, she'd be more inclined to work with her instead of knocking her on her a** again. Because ow. Those were going to be fun bruises to hide...

"Huh? You...he...What?" She said looking back and forth from the almost unconscious man to the agent. She eased off the girl trying to read her eyes see if she was telling the truth. She looked honest, which only made Hyperborea more confused draining energy was wrong. But if this guy was already a criminal and it wasn't like she was killing him she was gonna leave him for the authorities. So was she in the right here? Hyperborea didn't know what to do.
