SEXUAL ORIENTATION : Pansexual PERSONALITY : Put simply, Mitsukini is a performer. He loves to be in the spotlight, though he won't steal it from someone else. He's a friendly person and adores to socialize. Hardly a day goes by when he's not chatting with someone. Mitsukini could talk the ears off a worm if left unattended! He's a flirt, too, and isn't afraid to show it. It doesn't matter what the person's orientation is; if he thinks you're cute, he's going to let you know. Typically very enthusiastic and energetic, it's rare for Mitsukini to experience any depression or negative emotion. He does, though, from time to time. The severity of these moments can be completely random; he can bounce right back or suffer for a few days at a time. Mitsukini is generally a non-violent person, but he can become very dangerous if his clothes are damaged or his tiaras tampered with. BIOGRAPHY : Mitsukini was born in the Umkhaya Wedwa tribe, a group of people who's origins are a mystery even to them. His family, the Sages, are the chief family of the tribe. So, naturally, he grew up with quite a lot of attention. Of course, it may also be because he and his brother and sister, Takahiro and Yukari, are the first set of triplets born within the tribe in two centuries. Growing up, Mitsukini became the leader of his group of friends, which included his siblings and six other kids. He showed the skills of a natural leader, which his father hoped would result in him becoming the chieftain of the tribe eventually.
But, Mitsukini had different plans. Being the chieftain would be a great honor, one he would take seriously, but what he loved the most was being the center of attention. He was eight when his performer's talent unfolded. During a tribal gathering that included members of the tribe that branched off into society that happens every fifteen years, he put together a show featuring him and his sister. One such visiting member by the name of Marissa Aarons worked as a manager in show business, and signed Mitsukini and his sister on as performers. They both started off as small-time actors for commercials and shows, but eventually they blossomed into full performers. Yukari went off to pursue a career in acting, becoming a very famous and requested actress, while Mitsukini preferred stage work. He became a popstar. Of course, not as Mitsukini Sage. Wanting to take on an alias, he took on the identity of a female star by the name of Mitsuru Nisemono.
The career of Mitsuru Nisemono skyrocketed within a week, and she became a sensation; especially within the Unova and Kalos regions, where she performed the most. When Mitsukini turned sixteen, he took a break from his work to attend the tribe's Rite of Passage, which marked a member's transition into adulthood. During this ritual, he received his tribal name and the other perks of the ritual; however, he never received a Pokémon egg. Due to his career, he would never have been able to care for it. So, it was decided he'd receive his when he turned nineteen, which was when his contract expired and he could care for it properly.
During the passed three years, when he had time, Mitsukini spemt his time dreaming of what he wanted to do when his contact ended and he had more time than he ever had. With Marissa's help, Mitsukini decided on going on a Pokémon journey; a tradition not often done by the Umkhaya Wedwa. It became his dream after the dream, and an adventure he looked forward to everyday. Now that he is nineteen and his contract is expired, Mitsukini has shed his career as Mitsuru Nisemono - temporarily - and has left Marissa's care to begin his journey. DID YOU KNOW? : Mitsukini's alias Mitsuru Nisemono is derived from his mother's name, Mitsuri, and the Japanese word for "imposter". His tribal name, Isiliva Isikhulu (Silver Prince), is derived from his silver features and him being the son of the chieftain. The tribe's name, Umkhaya Wedwa, translates from the Zulu language into "Family of Isolation".

LIKES : Mitsukini is addicted to fruit. He can't go a day without something fruit-based. He adores being in the spotlight, and absolutely loves Pokékon. Mitsukini loves his family and Marissa, too, and he'll happily spend hours talking to them. DISLIKES : Mitsukini can't stand stalkers. He's not afraid of them; he just thinks they're annoying and creepy lowlifes. He doesn't particularly enjoy spicy food, either. FEARS : Mitsukini is terrified of the dark, and thunderstorms are the worst. HOMETOWN : The tribe was set up near Lake Verity when Mitsukini was born. ASPIRATIONS : As of now, Mitsukini's dream is to travel and see what the world has to offer. Beyond that, he's still undecided.

ORIGINS : Not much is known of the Umkhaya Wedwa. This section will be empty for some time until an origin story is created. Feel free to share ideas! I encourage it. LEGAL INFORMATION : The governments of the main regions recognize the Umkhaya Wedwa as their own nation. The tribe has their own laws and traditions, and have established trade due to many of their people who are branched out into society. Authorities of the regions have no juristiction over the Umkhaya Wedwa unless diplomatic permission is given from the tribe cheiftain; the reverse is also true. It's worth noting the Umkhaya Wedwa are more or less taking asylum within the six regions, and they can be deported or exiled from a region at any time if they government finds it necessary. UNIQUE FEATURES : What makes the Umkhaya Wedwa people unique isn't their status as an independant nation, but the physical features the people share. The most noticeable from a distance is their pale skin that is bordering albinoism and their hair, which will always glimmer as if strands of precious metals or jewels are blended among it; typically matching their natural hair color. Blondes will have gold, brunettes will have bronze, elderly or those with grey or white hair will have silver, redheads will have garnet, and those with black hair will have an onyx shine. However, they have another feature that can't be mimicked by modern technology. Their eyes. The colors are often average, with some exceptions, but their pupils are what to look at. Unlike other people, the pupils of an Umkhaya Wedwa person are slit similar to a snake's or dragon's. The origin of this feature is also unknown. TRADITIONS : There are many traditions of the tribe that are always carried out. From funeral pyres to welcoming a new life into the tribe. There are many smaller traditions regarding meals and then those that belong to individual families. However, there are three main traditions that the Umkhaya Wedwa are known for. These traditional rituals are the Rite of Passage, the Prayer Ceremony, and the Flame Ritual. RITE OF PASSAGE A ceremony held every year. Those featured in this ritual are sixteen years of age, and it's a ceremony to welcome them into adulthood. This when they become legal adults and are given more attentive chores within the tribe. In this ritual, the transitioning participants receive both their tribal name as well as a Pokémon egg to care for. This ritual is actually long term, and it ends for each individual when their Pokémon hatches. When they do, the tribe Shaman or Shawoman - who is always paired with a powerful Psychic-type partner - will establish a psychic bond between the newly baptised adult and the hatched Pokémon. The two then become what is known as a Bonded Pair. This link can be established to more than one Pokémon so long as the Pokémon was hatched by the person and if permission is given by the cheiftain if the Shaman or Shawoman believes the person can handle more than one link. PRAYER CEREMONY A ceremony held on the first day of every year. During the day of this ceremony, the people enjoy festivities and other such interactions. Once night sets, however, the festivities end and the people gather around a driftwood bonfire to send their prayers to the heavens. These prayers are mostly for the deceased that passed within the previous year, those born within the year, and for the people who have fallen on hard times. Other smaller prayers are also said, from success in business, good trade, and even requests of good fortune for people outside the tribe. This is the only one of the main rituals that outsiders are allowed to participate in. FLAME RITUAL A ritual held every fifteen years. During this ritual, every member of the tribe - including those living in society - gather. It's often held in a wide area that can fit everyone. This ritual lasts a full week, and it is a prophecy ritual. It predicts the tribe's fate for the next fifteen years, to a limit, and members are allowed to request their own individual prophecies in regards to fortune, luck, love. However, as the Shaman or Shawoman that holds the prophecies is often an appretice, the prophecies are very limited. Regardless, the tribe takes this ceremony very seriously, as it can tell them of severe misfortune.

AKIHIKO SAGE : Akihiko is chieftain of the tribe, and his tribal name is Ngesibindi Ukuzinikela (Brave Devotion), derived from his bravery and devotion to the tribe. He is known for his fair leadership, but he also stood his ground against a rampaging pair of Gyarados to protect the tribe. He is the father of Mitsukini and his triplet siblings. And, he is proud of every one of them. Akihiko has two Paired Bond partners, Yuri the Arcanine and Soar the Fearow. MITSURI SAGE : Akihiko's wife and the mother of the triplets Mitsukini, Takahiro, and Yukari. Her tribal name is Okuncane Uphilisa (Frail Healer), derived from her frail body and ability to treat the injured flawlessly; physical and mental. Mitsuri is a worrywart, and worries for her family. Especially her children that are away. Mitsuri's Paired Bond partner is a very protective Noivern named Nikaru. TAKAHIRO SAGE : First born among the triplets. He is a very stern young man, and follows their laws flawlessly. However, he's much like his brother in being a mama's boy and is very close to Mitsukini and Yukari. Takahiro's tribal name is Esheshayo Umbheki (Swift Guardian), derived from his swift speed and protective nature. It may also be because he saved a younger member from drowning in a raging river without hesitating when he was only ten. His Paired Bond partner is a Houndour named Hades.
