Hmmm...what have I seen recently? I saw Underworld Evolutions which, of course, was amazing. I also saw Ultraviolet. Thumbs down on that one. gonk It could have been so good too....
I really want to see V for Vendetta a this moment. With the Wachowski brothers and the great storyline, it really looks promising. Oh! And the Silent Hill movie!
Now, I must ask a single question: the pictures in your sig are amazing, Blackrogue. Where exactly do you come across such great pictures?

Any movie that's not your usual fair is usually somethign I like. Like, things that doesn't have happy endings, or things where everyone dies, or the hero ends up with nothing.
Like the Phantom of the Opera. XD LOVE that movie.

The last film I watched was.. The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. But at the cinema... Aeonflux. Which was an okay movie, a little drawn out, but it was okay.
I'm going to see.... The Da Vinci Code when it comes out. =D -waves little fangirl flag-

To MorsVenit: the pictures...i have too much time on my hands. (:
i saw underworld for the 3rd time. i'm a fan.. eek
but i did see aeon flux. it was better than i thought it would be. i saw ultraviolet..not that i thought it was going to be amazing...but it was definately lower than my expectations. a disapointment for sure.
Phantom of the Opera. 2 thumbs way up.
but the most recent I saw this past weekend...V for Vendetta. amazing...not to bash America because really, i'm not a terrorist. But the movie makes you think. at least my small mind, it made my mind go on the line between rooting for the terrorist to get caught, or rooting for this revolutionary to change the society.
the government they created reminded me of saddam hussein's regime, or even hitler's little spree...that totalitarian government.
definately scary..and since i'm from America..
well..it was just scary with the newsreports they had scanning across the TVs during V for Vendetta..that America was this crazy hell hole..tons of people dying from the Avian Flu and then the country being in Civil War...crazy.

Oh, I would love to be able to see Underworld three times, but first I would like to see Aeon Flux. I wanted to see that one even though my expectations weren't too high for it, but I think I'll be pleased once I finally do hear it. I've heard many good things about it.
Ah, V for Vendetta. I was able to see a crummy movie such as Ultraviolet the day after it opened, but my friends are making me wait this long to see such a grand movie such as V. I've heard so many great things about it; I know it'll be worth this wait and torture.
Lol, I can sympathize with you on the 'too much time' statement, Blackrogue. I have far too much time on my hands, too. whee I think that same could be said for just about anyone on Gaia. 3nodding

Cheers to bullet time, indeed! xd . A great but little-known gunslinger movie is The Boondock Saints. Some things in that movie are a bit far-fetched, but the action sequences are great. I love it when the one guy drops a toilet from the top of a building onto another guy's head, and I loved the scene where they fall out of the airconditioning shaft and just let bullets fly. whee

Ghubli films are teh sexeh. Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, Kiki's Delivery Service, Castle in the Sky...all those ones. XD

Oh, I love Studio Ghibli films. but I love Miyazaki's in particular. ninja How could you have forgotten to mention Princess Mononoke? That was on Cartoon Network last night at 7:30. Next week, Laputa: Castle in the Sky will be on at the same time.
I don't know if they played My Friend Totoro or not... sweatdrop

I saw V for Vendetta again. Awesome stuff you guys go see it NOW!
And yeah rogue, it does make you think. But I've always known one fact that the movie pointed out. We glorify revolutionists, but a revolutionist is just a terrorist who has succeeded. Or you could say a terrorist is a revolutionist who has yet to succeed as the forward reaction.
