Kolari had left Isd on an adventure a couple of days ago. As relaxing and quiet as her new village was, she needed a break from it every now and then. What better way to take a break than to visit the larger settlement of Yera. Not only was the city larger than her sleepy little town, but it also was close to the rainforests of Jahuar. Then there was the fact that Yera was home to one of Kolari's friends, Meri, whom she had taken it upon herself to come and visit.

"Meri," came a happy, sing-song voice. "I've come for a visit!" It was Kolari, and she was standing outside the front door to her friend's home. After she called out to the other Leaf earthling, she gave a sharp but polite knock upon the door. She hadn't told her friend that she would be in the area. Normally, she would have written a letter to announce that she'd be coming. This time, however, it was different. She had left home on a whim, and this way she would be able to surprise her friend. She just hoped that Meri liked surprises. If not, she'd be in for a rude awakening.
