Hyperborea had just finished dusting a Youma and was taking a break on a nearby bench. She had gotten really good at fighting Youma, partly from Penthe and Chaonis' sparring sessions but it was still tiring to fight them.

As she was resting Hyperborea felt a Squire's aura coming her way. She got to her feet as the Squire came closer. The woman in blue looked a few years older than Hyperborea. She carried a mace.

"Bonsoir Mademoiselle! I'm Hyperborea of Cosmos. Would you like some company for a bit?" Hyperborea asked politely after introducing herself.

She'd gotten a paltry selection of replies on the subject of the Sentinels since blasting the information out there. It made her slightly jumpy, and more than a little anxious. Andronicus Squire had never really done anything like this before, and given there was a whole faction of people who probably wanted to kill her or corrupt her for their own gain, it was incredibly dangerous. Yet, leaving Destiny City to fend for itself wasn't an option anymore.

Not when you had a member of your own faction murdering it's members, and a brother pair hell bent on eradicating Chaos regardless of who got in the way.

Andronicus had started to make nightly rounds to make her power signature known (if it even worked that way). She had perhaps, two replies to her call, and this was not actually one of them. Really she just sort of stumbled upon the page more than anything else. Decent fighting style, if still learning. She walked up to the Page and pushed her hood back. Black and purple hair fell over her shoulder and she held out a hand.

"Andronicus Squire of Uranus," she paused, unsure of how to fully introduced herself. Should she add her Sentinel's rank? Should she keep quiet about that? Anxiety flared in her belly and she took a breath. No. She needed to be known. They couldn't just be a ragtag group without a name. Names held power, after all.

"Cerberus of the Sentinels, and it's creator. A pleasure to meet you, Hyperborea." She plopped herself down on the bench. "Nice fighting there. How long have you been a knight?"

"The pleasure is mine Andronicus." Hyperborea said as she took a seat next to the woman.

"Um a little over a month now I believe." Hyperborea blushed a little at the woman compliment "Merci. I try, we have to keep the city safe after all." She regarded the woman with a friendly smile.

She actually really pretty with her hood down. Hyperborea thought as her blush deepened.

"I'm sorry though I don't know what the Sentinels are. Though I'd love to hear about them."She replied honestly.

She nodded. The city came first. Space could be dealt with when necessary. The Squire smiled at her, though it turned into a sheepish expression as Hyperborea mentioned she didn't know what they were. That's what happened when you started calling yourself something that didn't, in fact, actually exist in any capacity beyond yourself.

"That's... okay. I'm the only Sentinel at the moment. In fact, I think they've been a thing for all of... two weeks, maybe? Maybe." Andronicus chuckled a little, running a hand through her bangs. She paused, gathering her thoughts, before replying.

"In my time as a knight, roughly two and a half years, I've seen both sides of this war neglect this city. I've seen them set fire to buildings no less than twice, maybe three times, I've seen the Negaverse try to eradicate one of their own allied factions, and I've seen a Senshi Prince murder Negaverse agents to make a statement. There's all this talk of running the other side off the planet to save it. But, I was born on this planet. I live here. Hundreds of thousands of other people live here, in this city. I'm not going to just up and leave for space - as the Prince would have us do - and abandon this planet. This is my home, and the home of us powered. We have family, friends, who aren't connected with all of this. They need protecting against us.

"Moreover, I've seen what the future may hold. The Negaverse took over, nearly everyone was part of Chaos or hunted down and killed. I can see why Order is now on a mass attempt to kill off Chaos, but I don't think it's that simple.
" Andronicus paused. This was the part that was the most... heretical, really, of her whole idea. The idea of this group. She bit her lip, eyeing Hyperborea for a moment.

"The war is shades of grey, and I intend the Sentinels to be part of that grey. So, we'll have Order and Chaos under my wing, because I believe we can only truly save our city if we work together. The whole "there can be no light without darkness" kind of thing, ya know? We protect the civilians from the powereds of Destiny City, including our own factions if need be." The Squire let that all sink in, nervously pulling at a hangnail on her thumb. It would either scare her off, or turn Andro into an enemy for her. That was the real crux with this whole thing; she was riding a very fine line being out in grey territory and not everyone was going to agree with her. She hoped Hyperborea was the open minded sense, and at least kept it in mind.

It's ok stuff happens

"Thats.. Thats horrible. A prince would actually do that. Murder.....to make...a point. That's....Evil." She said shaking a little, both with fear and anger. She didn't know much about the Senshi royalty, in fact she wouldn't have even know she had a princess had Ida not mentioned her. But she guessed if they were anything like Camelot then they were extremely powerful. For someone gifted with that level of strength to abuse it like that is just plain horrible. While she understood, though personally disagreed with, the notion that sometimes you had to kill your enemy. She really did get that some people, like Painite, might be too far gone to save and to dangerous to leave alive; although she believed everyone could be saved even someone as evil as the general. But he killed just to make a damn point. "Do you know who that prince is?" She didn't know what she would do with a name, she couldn't even take on a general she'd die for sure if she tried to take on some one of that level but she still wanted to know who it was.

Although the other stuff made her sad it didn't shock like hearing about how a prince, some one of order could be evil like that. She wasn't surprised to hear that the negaverse did horrible things but it did explain alot of the horrible things she had heard about on the news for the past few years. So many lives destroyed by this God forsaken war, innocent lives who probably didn't even know what they died for. It wasn't fair. Hyperborea felt tears threatening to fall as she thought about it. She wiped her eyes hoping Andronicus hadn't noticed.

"You've seen the future?" she asked a bit confused, was that a part of her knight magic. "That sounds like a terrible future." she wondered what became of her in this future but she was too afraid to ask if the squire knew.

"I think that's a wonderful idea, but how are you going to get negaverse agents to work for you aren't they either brainwashed, evil, or simply forced to do Chaos' dirty work? Wouldn't they need to be purified first?" She asked. As she understood it Chaos corrupted so even if someone wanted to do good on the side of chaos wouldn't they need to purify or risk being turned evil by Chaos, or even simpler wouldn't the negaverse just threaten them into obedience.

"Still I think thats a great sentiment, wanting to put the civilians first. They're innocent in all this, at least we know what we're putting our lives on the line for. They don't even have that luxory, and they have no defense against a powered individual or even a youma. You're a really noble person, Andronicus." She said managing a smile at the Squire.

"Prince Castor, and his brother Pollux," she said, with no qualms about dropping their names in a harsh light. They deserved it. Andronicus shifted slightly, pushing her weight into her other hip as her calf cramped.

"The thing is, I don't think the Negaverse is what we've been told. I... was corrupted in that future. It isn't so much as 'saw' as 'lived' it. Confusing I know. While I don't remember the exact details, I do remember I was not compelled, brainwashed or 'evil'. Evil is subjective. Chaos and Order are not just black and white. There are evil people among Order, those who are zealots and who believe their way to be the only way. There are good people among Chaos, who are simply trying to get by and keep under the radar themselves.

"You're too new to know, but there is a place called Olympus on Mars where the Knight's Code exists. It's a giant floating incorporal scroll that talks. We were all pulled to it, a year ago or so, and told we needed to work with Chaos. Not against, not purify, but work with them. Obviously, bringing them back to the light would be preferable, but then I ask you this: What purpose do we serve if there is no Chaos to fight? Why do we even exist as knights? If we end Chaos' existance, we don't lose our powers. We become, in my opinion, aimless people who will turn on themselves.
" She bowed her head at Hyperborea, taking the compliment of being noble.

"I'm just tryin' to do what I think is right. If that's noble, well alright then."

"Castor, huh." She said angrily. She would be sure to remember that name.

"Well I hope you're right. I want to believe everyone has the potential for good." She wasn't sure she really believed the squire. She wanted to of course, but even Camelot had said Chaos corrupts people. And Camelot was a Royal Knight and older and wiser than either of them.

"I don't know. I mean I guess I assumed once earth was safe we could try to rebuild the wonders and planets. You know, try to restore what was lost a thousand years ago." She said knowing it probably sounded naive, it was likely impossible to makes things go back to the way they had been. "But I think you're right about reuniting with the negaverse agents, they were once knights right or at least their ancestors were so it only make sense that we're supposed to bridge the gap created in the time of our ancestors."

"So what kind of stuff will your Sentinel do to help the people." She asked curious about this organization.

Simply because one was older and wiser did not make them right. It wasn't a 'potential for good' that Andronicus saw, but more that neither side was completely good, nor completely evil. Everyone had the potential for acts of good or evil in their system; you weren't just claimed one or the other and that was it. Certainly, what ran through your veins in terms of magic helped sway, but she'd fought against fellow agents and generals, and killed quite a few at the end there in name of no one but herself. But Hyberborea was young and new to the fight, she didn't understand the atrocities, not really.

Besides, Andronicus had no need to repair a wonder on a dead planet for a dead princess that was never coming back. She liked her wonder, she really did, but her home was Destiny City. Her tower was a nice place to go when she need an escape, not to live permanently.

The change of topic was welcome however, and Andronicus put her mind back in the present. "A lot of it is mostly identifying the civilians in an area, if they're in danger or not, and getting them out. Getting in the way of a rogue senshi attack, tackling a malicious Negaverser, dusting youma or mirror wraiths. In larger settings, its about guiding civilians towards exit doors and making sure there's an escape route for them. If we know something is going down, we scope out the escape routes and the location. Even if we don't know something is going down, large gatherings of people are usually a sign something will.

"We can't be everywhere at once, but we're gunna try to do make a difference, no matter how small. Show the people that not everyone works in their own interests, and that some still care.
" There were some other issues she'd love to address, but being an army of one made it rather hard to do anything large scale. It would come in time, hopefully.

Hyperborea clasped Andronicus' hand. "I think that wonderful, Andronicus! That's great that there will be people watching for civilians. I completely agree, even if we can't save everyone we should at least try to save as many people as possible."

As she looked into the older girl's eyes she felt a blush creep across her face. "Oh a sorry." She said letting go of the squire's hand" Darn it, why does she have to be so pretty. She thought. Get ahold of yourself girl, there's no way she's interested in you. Even if she likes girls she probably thinks you're just a kid.

"Anyway I think you have a wonderful philosophy. I hope your group works out how you hope it will. The world could use more chivalrous ideas like your's."
