Sy had finished her brisk shopping for her mother and then led the way to her house. With Ingwe following she had a constant red hue to her cheeks. When she walked into her house she motioned for the leaf boy to follow. It was her luck that it was only her mother who was home. That saved both her and Ingwe from the endless questions that would have come from her twin brother, it also kept Sy's cheeks from turning the color of beets. The red head passed on her basket of goods to her mother then gently explained that she wanted to take a trip to Jahaur. Since she had recently read a book about the plant life there she was excited to go. Of course she knew she had asked her sibling to go with her, but she hated to interrupt his training. Her mother took the time to ask questions before she hesitantly agreed. Syqvara managed to grab a bag of extra clothes and her journal from her room in record time, hoping her mother wouldn't change her mind. Before she could slip outside she gave a kiss to the woman's cheek and said goodbye. Looking at Ingwe she'd give a nervous cough then head out the door. He would follow, or at least she thought he would. Once outside she went to collect her familiar. The scorra was ready within seconds and Sy waited for Ingwe to lead the way.

Heras Box feel free to have her ask who this Talin is Ingwe keeps mentioning.. he never did explain XD ~~~~~Ingwe~~~~~ It was quite awkward, Ingwe had decided, trying to talk to a girls mother who you just met today.... and were going to escort this stranger to a new land... He was relieved he didn't have to explain much... though he did do his best to assure the mother that her daughter would be safe. As they left he sighed. "That was.. um.. unexpectedly nerve wracking." He said with a laugh as he followed her for a while before tapping her shoulder. "We should probably head that way;" he pointed to off to the left. " I think Talin will be waiting there... since I'm a bit later leaving than expected. Hope he doesn't mind the wait." And if the group had headed off already then Ingwe would jsut catch up with them! The older members were fairly lazy, he was discovering, so they didn't move at the fast pace he could set. ~~~~~~ Talin~~~~~ (they aren't at him yet, but doing this to keep the posts even cause robo is too lazy) Talin sat perched on a tree looking towards Yera. So far all of the group had manged to straggled in on time for his time line... except for Ingwe. I wonder if his friend is keeping him. He knew Ingwe would come back; the boy was too honest and earnest to just leave. But the group had already headed off, Talin having Lirik show them the way while he waited for the last member to show up. If he doesn't show, I'll head into town, shouldn't be too hard to find him. Talin though idally as he lounged in the tree.

She gave a nervous laugh as he mentioned the situation inside. He had no idea. Sy had inadvertently been trying to hurry things along so that they could leave before her twin brother got home. When he tapped her shoulder she looked at him then where he was pointing and gave a nod. With Elyam now following them she would take a moment before she spoke. "W-who is T-Talin?" Sy blinked curiously as she did her best to keep pace with Ingwe.

Ingwe noticed he was moving a bit fast and slowed down; "Talin is..." He blushed slightly and bashfully rubbed a hand over the shaved back of his head. "Um.. my boyfriend.. Also the leader of the group." It was, the realized, the first time he'd actually called Talin his boyfriend, and he wondered if Talin thought of him as such. He'd only ever heard Talin call him 'his.' "He's a bit forward so uhh...try not to be scared." He couldn't say that Talin would do no harm.. Talin was a dangerous man and while he was very easy going there were times..... ~~~~Talin~~~~ Talin spotted a pair approaching from the town and frowned; Ingwe had said he'd gone to get his friend... but that friend had been a 'he' and tone of these figures looked feminine. He hopped out of his tree to stand by the trunk.. or rather, lounge against the tree trunk. Was this a new friend? If so... the girl had better be ready for some rough folks because the group had real bandits within it, though they did have a handful of naive younger men like Ingwe to hide their darker sides behind.

Hearing the explanation of who Talin was she couldn't help but smile. It was cute that Ingwe blushed over the fact. Syqvara gave a small giggle, though she did her best to hide it and nodded her head. "A-alright." It wasn't like she didn't have a brother who was forward. He would let her know something in an instant. The red head looked back to her scorra as it followed, making sure that Elyam was okay with the traveling. When she looked forward once more she noticed there was a figure by a tree. "Oh, i-is that him?" Sy nodded her head in that direction curiously.

Ingwe looked up and couldn't help the happy smile from splitting his face; Talin had very eye catching clothes so it was always easy to tell it was him. That and the fact he was a wind tribe member and much paler than most leaflings. "Yup!" He bounded forward to greet Talin eagerly. Talin smirked when he saw Ingwe bound towards him like an eager young puppy; which he was. "You're rather late." He drawled as he straightened up and reached out to run a thumb across Ingwes cheekbone... which was turning slightly purple from the punches earlier. "Mm... You got into a fight?" He raised and eyebrow as he grinned; had his male friend and him gotten into a fist fight? He looked over to check out the girl and her scorra; not too bad looking... though she could use a bit more meat to be my type. Ingwe blushed slightly. "Ahh.. sort of...." He wasn't sure if Talin was upset about that; the man reacted oddly sometimes. Thinking some things amusing while angry over other things that Ingwe just did not understand.... "Um, this is Syqvara... can she travel with us to Neued?" He looked up with large hopeful eyes; it would suck if Talin siad no...

She watched as Ingwe ran to Talin, though she didn't keep pace with him this time. Instead she seemed to slow down some and even stopped some feet away. Her familiar paused just behind her and leaned his head over her shoulder. Sy watched as the man ran a thumb over the boy's cheek. The red head hoped there wasn't too much damage there, after all she had tried to step in on time. Not that she would say that out loud. When she was introduced to the man she turned red in the cheeks and looked down. Though something Ingwe said made her looked confused. Neued? Wasn't that close to the Oban border? She took her bottom lip between her teeth and worried over it a bit.

Talin chuckled and gave Ingwe a quick kiss. "How can I say no to that face? Though it would best if the lady her self spoke up." The leaf boy turned to grin at Sy; "Told you it'd be fine!" "Is it? She seems a bit... nervous." The name of Neued had triggered, that much Talin was sure of. Did the girl not tell Ingwe the truth? Ingwe was such a sucker for sob stories it'd b easy for some sod to convince him to let them tag along and then take his stuff. Talin knew he'd done that to a few people before! But.. he snorted, the girl did not look dangerous at all! Or like she exercised much. Ingwe looked confused; "Wat do you mean Talin? She needs to get to Jauhur...." He turned to look at Sy and give her and encouraging grin; "She's just shy is all."

Hearing them go back and forth she lifted her head and blinked. "I-it is fine. J-just that.. B-being close to O-Oba scares m-me." Sy fidgeted with the hem of her one sleeve. That she hadn't told Ingwe. Of course when he said that he was going to Jahaur he hadn't mentioned being close to the border. Looking slightly worried and nervous now she'd look at the boy. "I-I'm sorry. I sh-should have t-told you that." It was her fault for being too shy to really talk about much.

Ingwe pulled away from Talin to go wrap an arm comfortably about her shoulders. "Ah, it's alright! Oba's not all that bad... Considering the rumors I'm surprised you aren't more worried about the Alidikes! Jauhrs full of them." He chuckled. Talin, at those words, got a little worried... he had heard those rumors...and was far more nervous about Alkidike attacks than Oban ones. Yeah that's right, remind e why don't you? He thought scathingly as he kept his thoughts hidden. "Oba has been beaten back. The only thing coming from their borders will be merchants." This one really was shy... "Has Ingwe told you what we are yet?" He asked curiously. If the girl was so shy... maybe Ingwe hadn't mentioned that they were bandits.

Her face grew even brighter as Ingwe put an arm around her shoulders. She of course turned her head to look at him, curious as to why he was doing such a thing but didn't ask. But when he mentioned the rumor about the Alkidikes she went to step away so that she could turn her body to face him. "Y-you said th-those were just r-rumors." Oh if she had her basket she could hit him right now. Her attention went toward Talin as he spoke up then shook her head slightly at him. "U-uhm, you two a-are a couple." Sy would be innocent enough to think that that had been what the man was asking.

Talin was amused by the hole Ingwe was digging; so he let the younger man try to get hismelf out of said hole. "Well... they are just rumors!" Ingwe said, a bit startled. "No alkidike war party has left the jungle. No scouts. last time I was in Neued there was no hints... It's just rumors cause a few old alkidikes are unhappy that hybrids are being born is all." Talin chuckled and shook his head. Last time he was in Neued? You mean months ago? He thought but did not say. The chuckle turned into a laugh; "We are.. but that was not what I asked." He shoo his head. "Ingwe you silly dear, you should really explain things to people! We are... bandits. Well. I am. Ingwe isn't." Ingwe pouted. "Not bandits! We're just striking back against the obans! And giving what we take to those who got hurt in the war!" Ingwe did not like the term 'bandit.' He wasn't one! He was a... freedom fighter? yeah.. that sounded like it.

She narrowed her eyes at Ingwe. Was he trying to scare her more? That wasn't very nice. Still she seemed to look as though she was pouting. "It w-wasn't very nice o-of you to scare me." Sy took a deep breath then looked away from Ingwe, noticing for the first time that Elyam was sniffing at the boy. She hoped her scorra didn't peck at him. The leaf girl was about to tell her familiar to leave him alone when she heard Talin start to speak, so she closed her mouth to listen. "B-b-bandits!?" Her bright green eyes grew wide as she tried to take a step back from the man. Even as the boy she had come to consider a friend chimed in she couldn't stop looking at Talin with a frightened look. "I-I should turn y-you in." Sy looked around before she finally face back toward her home town.

Ingwe gave Talin a look. "Really Talin?" Talin just laughed. "Oh stop your pouting little girl. Ingwe there won't rob you.. as for turning us in." He chuckled. "Have we stolen anything of yours? Do you really believe me just because I said it?" He waved hand soothingly at Ingwe. "Stop sulking you. I'm just teasing." Best to keep this girl away from my core of old friends, he thought with vast amusement. Trust Ingwe to find others as innocent and gullible as himself! "You won't have to worry about bandits and the like Syqvara. Just Ingwe and myself." He rolled his eyes. "We're just a band of hunters. Honestly. I'm teasing." Lies were easy for him to say; he always said them.

Now she moved a bit closer to Ingwe, almost using him as a shield to put between her and Talin. She was still blushing and as she put a hand on Ingwe's side the color deepened. "I-I didn't think Ingwe w-would.." When he brought up the fact that neither of them had taken anything from her she paused and looked from Talin to Ingwe then back. "I-I guess not." Still feeling a bit nervous Sy seemed to cling to Ingwe. Elyam appeared jealous of this and did his best to nudge at her to gain her attention before he took to pecking at the boy's shoulder.
