Follows, sort of, Have you passed through this nightThe temptation to insist they do this on Camlann's wonder was beyond words. Would he kill Castor? No. The man had committed crimes against the inclade, but his services outweighed them. It appeared Castor had at least a small semblance of mercy and justice, the exact scale of which bore study for the future but for now, he was no threat. He wouldn't be seeing the dark sand of Saturn just yet, not on Camlann's watch. "What is this about," asked Camlann, guarded, half-thinking of Teide safely tucked away. She was safe. Castor had chosen to use his power to save her. That was enough to earn Camlann's willingness to listen to any lecture Castor might pull out of his a**. "If it is about Megiddo, I am only sorry she isn't rotting in the ocean where I left her."

"Correct, this is about Megiddo." He began, yet he paused at his words. "And this is not the place to discuss it." Still outfitted as royal the senshi made no hesitant moves as he grabbed the knight and ripped him from earth's grasp just to fluing him roughly to a dirty ground on Castor.
"Do you mind telling me why the ******** you didn't finish the goddamn job and make sure she was dead?" He yelled, a few owls that had been resting quite comfortably on some nearby trees hooting in shock before flying away. "Fighting another of Order is nothing new, and I'd be a liar to say I wouldn't kill someone who stood in my way, but what the ******** made you think it was a good idea to leave her alive?"
There was yelling, and his words were laced with anger. "You finish what you goddamn start Camlann! You don't ******** leave your enemy something they can use against you if they find it, nor, do you let your enemies live." He lashed out, even in his weakened state from having purified recently the man still had enough power to summon a small storm, taking down a few nearby branches off a tree. He was undoubtedly angry, but more so, disappointed.

Camlann hit the ground hard, rolling until he gained enough traction to stop. He pushed himself up to his knees and smudged his hair out of his eyes with the base of his palm. "We were on my Wonder," he said. "I needed her blood to open a door. She disappeared to her Wonder before I could make sure she was dead." At least he wasn't getting lectured about having attacked her at all. That would've been awkward, to say the least, since he intended to do it again the moment he had a clear field. And, like, no one observing like in the hospital. He didn't get up, being fairly sure Castor would just throw him back down. He wasn't stupid; it was bright as day here, no shadows for him to hide in, and he doubted that Castor would be so kind as to keep yelling long enough that night would fall. This wasn't like Saturn with its ten-hour day. "Knights of Camlann do not give an instant death," he said. "It is not the tradition." A knife to the throat. Let them bleed out. That was how it worked, merciful, pain enough and then sleep. "She committed crimes against the inclade. It had to be done. And it will be done. I will not let her live long, Castor." If anyone wanted to try to use Megiddo against him, they'd have a fun time. He clenched his left hand against his thigh. He could feel the glowing rune there, its black ambience invisible beneath the leather of his glove. "It is not a mistake I intend to repeat."

One hand went to his face, the other holding his arm as Castor listened and took deep breaths. This was a mess. A big fat, ugly mess. "Jesus Christ." He muttered finally, the storm in the distance fading, settling. "I hope so- given that her escape now has senshi and knight alike calling for your blood. I said I would deal with you, but we both know how things are. To them it is personal. They do not see Camlann doing-" he looked at the other man, "-whatever it is you were doing according to your tradition. They saw a poor prone survivor of an attack. A member of order attacked by one of their own. Judas is not a name that is easily won." He sighed, walking towards one of the trees, leaning against it. "Why her, what is this door, and what crimes has she wrought that would drive you to attempt to kill her?" He couldn't even begin to fathom how Mediggo might have already spun her own story. "I purified you Camlann. It is not darkness in you that drives you to these actions. I am certain of that much. But I am uncertain as to what motives you carry, and if perhaps there is something that is best made public before it eats at what little unity there is among Order."

"She attacks other knights," said Camlann. "She put another knight in the hospital because that knight was too weak to defend herself." Whoever the ******** Judas was, anyway. He hadn't taken Castor for religious, but he supposed people continued to be multi-facetedly annoying, that was a standard. "Even if a Negaverser makes their interest in purification known, she kills them. She has attempted to kill me three times just since I purified." At least the storm had settled before one of them got impaled by a tree branch. Camlann got to his feet and dusted the dirt off his jacket. "Her because she is the worst of them, and it is the right and duty of the knight of Camlann to protect the inclade, the door leads down into a deep cavern beneath my Wonder and I am not sure what lies there. A thousand years ago, I was the sword arm of the Saturnian nobility. I would be that again."

Castor stared skyward watching the cloud melt and roll elsewhere. Camlann did have a reason then, if one that would be hard to prove.. or disprove. "Can't say I blame her. Skepticism on those wishing to change sides is good, but not to that extent. Attacking you post purification however is something I can't readily abide. That is a line she should not have crossed. If you are a hand of Saturn, then yes, reclaiming your rank and it's functions is a right you have." Still things were not that easy. "Yet you failed in doing that duty and now have many who will not trust you, no matter what truths or lies you would offer them. You acted in accordance to what is... tradition then it cannot be helped. It is not an outsider's place to pass judgement. The same however, is that you allowed her to escape and live- in this failure her seeking revenge is warranted. You have given her legitimacy to be your aggressor. In my eyes, I would have you both settle your issues with a fight to the death. Yet that tradition is of my people. I don't know how Saturn would settle, yet know this- Her remaining alive is now something of a priority to those who might have heard her tale. To have seen her." "They will not trust me. My protection and claim of being responsible for your actions is just words to many. You must answer for what has happened. Again, to me, this is between you and she, yet now you will be the target of her allies. A mob of anger is blind to many things. You are at risk Camlann, and while I can claim to shelter you, I will tell you the reality. It is only in the event that any but her go after you that I would take action. You must answer for what you have done and failed to do." He sighed again. "Do you understand what I am saying Camlann?"

"I do not care," said Camlann. The words were precisely pronounced, but he tossed them off as if they had less than no meaning. "My wonder will judge me. Your words matter to me less and little." He shrugged. "I appreciate your protection. I understand your concern. I do not believe you purified me to follow my every step and ensure that I cause no problems for others who lack my conviction." It would be a waste of time, for one. For another, Camlann wouldn't appreciate it. "Spend your time and your attention upon Teide. She is young, and needs it. I know I will be doing the same."

Castor figured that out all things, Camlann had two settings. Aggressive or apathetic. Kind of like Marlo, only with more bite than bark. "It is noble thought to see your wonder as your guide and the final seeing to your core, but do not dismiss my words so easily. It is as you say, I don't speak them for the purpose of playing the disappointed father figure, though I admit, when you spend a few years as a royal and reliving such a mindset it rubs off on you." He gave a small sheepish grin. "I want to see you and others like you surpass what it is that you once were. So when she said it was you? I worry. I worry less about your actions but the actions of others. You have already shown me more than I expect you even know. You, Teide- Hver and her ilk think me aggressive in my approach but in doing so, I see more than a thing to save, I see someone with potential to change the very balance not by my action but their own. You acting as the sword arm as you once were already shows me I was not wrong. All I'd like for now is.. Caution. I could send you to the hospital, to try and placate those who were 'upset' by Megiddo's plight, but lets be honest, they'll want your blood anyway. It'd be pointless for me to do more than spare a short time to badger you." He shrugged. "Take care of Megiddo as is your duty Camlann. You will find neither ally nor foe in Castor so long as you do your duty. Yet bear in mind, should you fail in your tasks and these sorts of accidents happen again, my hand will be forced. Please, and I ask both as a royal who purified you and as a simple friend, do not put me in that position Camlann. It would not end well for either of us."

"I have no intention of making any such mistake again," he said. "If not for my own sake, or the sake of my wonder, for the sake of Teide. I have no intention of leaving her to flounder." She was a sweet girl, but still only a girl. And girls her age... they were vulnerable to many things men were not. Camlann would never see harm come to her, not while he drew breath. (If he went to Florence Court to check on her and didn't find her there, asleep, safe... he would be very responsible for what he did to Hvergelmir Knight. And he would enjoy it.) Castor didn't need to know that. With an exhaled breath, he said, "I will be cautious. Please return me to Destiny City so I may go check on Teide."

There was a pause before a slow grin came over his face. "Ahhh, I see. Well, then I will leave her in your hands. Just be sure to be gentle with her. She seems the type to need a few nights before you try anything." He smiled as if it was just another day in the park. "As for returning-" he walked over, still grinning. A hand on the man's shoulder and soon enough that lurch back to earth had him resuming his eternal form, and, stumbling slightly. "Ah well, better get moving. We both have our business to attend to and all that crap." Like getting some much needed rest.

"I do not need a knife to kill you," said Camlann, but he had places to go and people to see and Teide to not attempt to ********, ******** you very much Castor. Anyway, he'd be glad to put that whole awkward experience behind him. "Get home safe," he said. Then he was off.
