 HP: 20 Dervire was ready for battle. he had weapons and a first aid kit and some not so nice things stashed in his battle backpack. He called it a battle backpack but what it really was, was a old dollar store cheapo backpack. Easily replaced and nothing special in case he got it damaged in this war. Dervire scouted out the carnival in search of lone opponents he could attack. When he finally spied one, it was some strange horned and tailed pockettu. A cotton candy demon? Wouldn't that make him more of a halloween follower? Wasn't there a halloween god or something? Dervire reached into his pack and pulled out a light bulb filled with tacks. Again, it was a dollar store makeshift weapon but he figured it would do it's job. The real challenge had been prying the metal base off without shattering the glass, then reattaching it once he'd filled the light bulb. Dervire took aim, then flung the makeshift weapon at Scorch.

 Scorch was back out into the fray as soon as he could after defeating his first cursed opponent. He scanned the battlefield for another opponent, but this time the enemy saw him first. He didn't hear the item being thrown at him at all, but he sure felt it, as the bulb hit his face, shattering instantly. He yelped in surprise, and felt his face, where glass shards and tacks were now stuck in his skin. "What the ********?" he yells loudly, and turns in the direction it came from. Seeing Dervire, he scowls and lights his fist aflame. "Burn, cursed!" he yells before aiming a fireball at his face. HP: 17

HP: 17 Ha! Well it wasn't a bulls eye but it was a good hit as far as Dervire was concerned. The werecat grinned widely as he started towards the candy corn pockettu..who...lit himself on fire and flung it at his face. "UWAH!" He yelled as his face was burned with fire and his hair singed. He felt the heat and growled in pain. Dervire reached blindly into a pocket and pulled out a small plastic easter egg filled with bleach. Lifting it over his head he flung it at Scorch.

Scorch grinned as he got him, but then saw... some sort of egg coming at him? He was so stunned by the oddity of it, that it hit him solidly -- t hankfully on the arm instead of on his face. Bleach splattered on him and he cursed as it started to burn. "What the hell is your problem?" he growls at him, wondering what the hell that was, though he's smelling something chlorine-like. "Can't just go buy a real weapon?" he asks, flinging another fireball at the cat. HP: 14

HP: 14 Dervire snorted with amusement when the easter egg struck pretty well. "Heh. Nothings wrong with me. In case you haven't noticed we are sort of at odds here." He pointed out. "Since your Gods going to be coming to join us soon, I'm just on my way to help push him along." Dervire flinched when the firey pockettu struck him with another one of his fireballs. The were cat flared his wings open and fluttered up into the air while batting out little licks of flame from his cloths. "Knock it off! Have you any idea how bad singed fur smells? And it itches after!" He snarled as he tugged on his backpack until he grabbed a small squirt-gun from the side pocket. "Your blind if you don't see the potential of cheap weapons. Anything can be used to inflict pain on someone! "As he spoke, Dervire pointed the squirt-gun full of lemon juice at Scorch and pulled the trigger.

"We're not joining you!" He snarls at him, and he was about to tell him how childish he was being with his toys when..........he took a squirt of lemon juice in the eye. "Ow!!" He pawed at his eye with one hand. This was getting ridiculous! He had to make the battle up close and personal, so he squinted his one eye shut and rushed the cat, attempting to tackle him to the ground. HP: 10

HP: 11 Bulls eye! Dervire felt pride at the well aimed shot. "Ha ha! Got your eye! Bet that smarts doesn't it?" He taunted as he fluttered down closer. Of course now the squirt gun was empty but he could use something else. Dervire was debating just what he wanted to do when Scorch rushed him. With a grunt he went down hard under the fiery male. Dervire wrinkled his nose and lashed out with a punch at Scorch's nose. "Back off! No touching!"

Scorch grunted as they landed, and held up the arm stinging from the bleach to block his punch. "I can beat you with one eye, you sleezy cat!" he yells, before trying to aim a punch at his face in retaliation. HP: 9

HP: 9 Dervire tilted his head to the side when he saw the punch coming."I am not sleezy! I am just a little scruffy. Let's see how clean your fur...hair...is after sleeping in a box in the street!" Dervire growled as he tossed his elbow up towards Scorch's chest. "Get off me!"

HP: 8 Dervire bared his teeth in a snarl at Scorch. "Hey! It's my choice to live life rough. If I wanted a cushy easy life I wouldn't work for Martyr!" Dervire rocked his body back and forth, and just before Scorch rained his blows down on him, he managed to scootch his back pack up enough to flip it over his head as a makeshift shield to block most of the blows. With a grunt of effort he slammed the backpack up at his opponent.

Scorch scoffed. "Some goddess to follow, if she wants you to live a tough life." He gets thunked by the backpack and starts to fall off of Dervire, though he attempts to grab the backpack, and light his hands on fire to burn it and its contents if he can. HP: 4

HP: 5 Dervire rolled his eyes. "You are all so blind! None of you get it! Martyr makes us stronger through the trials of suffering!" He blinked then yelled as his backpack was lit on fire. "No no no no!" He yelled. "There are hairspray---" Before Dervire got any further, the hairspray can he had inside his back pack exploded due to Scorchs' flames. Dervire howled as flames and metal shrapnel dug into his arms and chest. "YOU FLAME RETARD!" (I;m gunna say the backpack exploding is Dervires 'attack' this round XD)

Scorch wasn't really thinking when he tried to burn the backpack up. He should have known, from the bleach egg, and the lemon juice, that he probably had something else flammable in there. But he was just getting pissed off and hotheaded like he always did, and wanted that damn backpack burnt. He was scowling at the cat going on about suffering, and then he heard him freak out about the backpack -- right before he was thrown back, his head hitting the ground hard, knocking him out instantly. Any flames from it wouldn't affect or burn him, the cat might notice afterwards, but the carnie was sure gonna feel the shrapnel embedded into him when he woke up. HP: 0
