Dervire had a mission, one he was quite dedicated to fulfilling. It just wasn't easy. In fact it was perhaps the hardest thing he'd ever had to do. Harder even then living homeless in the street. In the large scheme of things he figured that it wouldn't have been a challenge if the task hadn't been difficult.

In order to find himself a prime subject for conversion, Dervire had back tracked to the Darkness Gods domain. It had been extremely difficult finding caves and tunnels that led down to the city. A now ruined city, as he learned while crawling over the rubble. Dervire spent a few days camped out in what may have been a tower room or something. It hid his campfire and gave him the chance to observe who came to the ruins. Mostly looters and scavengers unfortunately. Dervire was starting to think he'd have to pick one of them to work on when he spied Nglas. The dark colored pockettu didn't seem to have any real interest in rooting around in the ruins. Not as far as Dervire could tell. The werecat prowled after Nglas until he heard the boy growl. He waited until Nglas sat down to crawl up on another rock nearby. "Something on your mind little follower?"

Dervire kept a careful eye on Nglas but made no move to get closer to the follower. His tail shifted behind him as he pondered the depressed pockettus answer and question. "I'm here observing. Watching the followers of the Darkness God as they come out to these ruins. Everyone seems to be searching for something. What are you searching for out here?"

Dervire cupped his chin in his hand as he peered down at Nglas. "Now why would you be upset? And who is this He? Your boyfriend maybe? Your father? Why does it matter if your mean to others, it's not like it will hurt them to have to deal with someone in a bad mood now and then."

Dervire gave a cold laugh. "Well the God of Darkness wouldn't tell anyone the time of 'day' if you ask me. But really. It sounds like you made a bad choice in gods. My goddess encourages us to make others miserable.

"Oh I'm sure thats what they want you to think." Dervire drawled as he waved his hand dismissively in the air. "Though if you really would like to make others hurt and feel as you do, you could always switch sides. My Goddess would approve of you making the other followers miserable."

Dervire had to bite back a sarcastic remark. It wouldn't do for him to insult the other pockettu and drive him away. The werecats tail snapped back and fortr behind him as he glanced away with a sniff of indifference. "Well you'd be showing your current God that he shouldn't have ignored you so much."

Dervire turned his attention back down towards Nglas. "Probably. My Goddess would likely approve of you making the Darkness followers suffer for their foolish choice. Besides, what makes them better then you? Why should he pay more attention to them when you needed him?"
