Chris had thrown out the sleeping pills that morning. Not all of them, just the dose from the night before. He figured if Dawson or Chel checked in on it, they'd see that the pills were gone and assume he'd been taking them. He'd carefully flushed the two pills down the toilet, getting rid of the evidence.
He was running out of people to reach out to work out with him, though. If he asked Dawson he might agree, but there'd be looks. That was worse than a blunt no from Chel. Just because he couldn't ask them for help didn't mean he felt like he could stop, though. He hovered around the training grounds, doing his sit ups and push ups, waiting for someone to appear so he could drag them into a fight.
His muscles and joints ached, but he told himself that it meant he was doing well.

Noemi's couple of days back had been good! She had seen her best friend, met a new sort of friend and over all had been a very pleasant experience. Not that her time on the Island and not been thus far but...
She thought she was doing well for coming out of her shell.
She headed back to the training grounds, actually on her way to the moon training course when she saw a certain captain america.
"Chris!" She stumbled change her path towards the man doing workout things and smiled timidly at him.
"Hi! I had hoped to see you again!" She leaned over him, took in the tired face, the paleness. The nurse training in her wanted to ask him what he thought he was doing on the field.
Instead she focused on something else.
"Are you training out here? Do you need a partner for sparring?"

His head shot up from where he was on the ground doing sit ups, and he grinned. "Noemi! Haven't seen you in a while."
He didn't like the way her eyes lingered on his face, like she was cataloging evidence. He latched on to the opportunity to distract her. "Yeah, I was hopin' someone would drop by. Y'think you can take me?"

To be fair, it was hard not to comment on the fatigue and she wondered if Chris realized by not saying something, she was trying to respect not prying.
but his smile comforted her a little....
"I can take you!" She nodded.
then a moment.
"Where am I taking you?" The sentence might've gotten lost in translation.
