Commentator Guy: "Up next is our eighth match of the night and there's a lot of intrigue going into this one!"
Commentator Troy: "The Extraordinary Englishman, Cartwright, is up against a man who shockingly returned to the wrestling world after a six year absence on our previous show, Mad Dog!"
Commentator Guy: "Despite being away for so long, Mad Dog showed no signs of ring rust, as he was able to defeat the former OECW Seasons Champion, Shadow!"
Commentator Troy: "Let's find out if Mad Dog didn't get lucky last time because this time he is going against the veteran who has made a powerful enemy in Staff Member Russo!""'Bout This City" by Reps hits the arena and the crowd explodes into cheers. Cartwright enters the arena in his fire printed wrestling tights and orange boots. Cartwright acknowledges all the fans and greets them with a warm smile.Announcer Justin: "From London, England, weighing in at 205 pounds, he is The Extraordinary Englishman, CAAAAAAARTWRIIIIIIIIIGHT!"
Commentator Guy: "Here he comes! Cartwright looks ready to go!"
Commentator Troy: "Cartwright has a microphone in his hands! I wonder what he has to say tonight!" Cartwright's theme music fades-out as he brings the microphone up to his mouth. He smiles as he listens to the crowds cheers and chants.Cartwright: "Thank you! Thank you! It feels so good to be here tonight at the Bismarck Civic Center in Bismarck, North Dakota!"
Crowd: "CARTY! CARTY! CARTY! CARTY! CARTY!"
Cartwright: "Now before my opponent gets out here tonight, I just want to congratulate him on his victory on the previous show! Defeating Shadow by pin fall after so long is pretty impressive! What do we all think of Mad Dog?!"
Crowd: "MAD DOG! MAD DOG! MAD DOG!"
Cartwright: "Mad Dog, you must be feeling pretty good! You must feel like you've still got it! You must think that Bad Blood Wrestling is a pretty swell place to be! Well tonight, you're going to get a wake-up call because tonight you are up against me! While you have been away, Mad Dog, I have continued to improve and have made a name for myself in the wrestling world while you hid away in Japan doing nothing! Everybody else had forgotten who the Hell you even were until the previous show!"The crowd cheers and claps Cartwright's words, but gasps at his boasting and shots at Mad Dog! He must be feeling pretty confident!Cartwright: "I am so good and so feared, that on the previous show, Awesome Face would have rather have had a heart attack than face me in the ring! This is the same Awesome Face who won the BBW Sanguine Invitational, one of the toughest tournaments in the world! That says it all!"The crowd can't help but cheer and agree, because it's true.Cartwright: "Also on the last show, Andrew Styles thought that he could mess me about! He attacked my new mate Mike THE ROCKER, leaving me at the mercy of Staff Member Russo's EVIL NINJA CLOWNS!"
Crowd: "RUSSO SUCKS! RUSSO SUCKS! RUSSO SUCKS!"
Cartwright: "But I showed Andrew Styles what happens when you think you can play me! I rekt that kid so hard following that attack that nobody has heard from him since! Nobody betrays me and gets away with it! Russo, I'm coming for you too and I don't care how many EVIL NINJA CLOWNS you send my way! I, WILL, GET, YOU!"WOW! Cartwright is firing shots at anyone and everyone!Cartwright: "Just remember that Mad Dog, if you even feel like stepping into the ring with me after what you just heard! I almost feel sorry for you Mad Dog because tonight, the momentum that you started building with your win over Shadow, it comes to a crashing halt and you'll wonder why you ever decided to come here in the first place!"Cartwright swaggers towards the ring as the crowd gets hyped-up by Cartwright's words. Cartwright enters the ring and faces the entrance ramp as he waits for Mad Dog to show his face.Commentator Guy: "Mad Dog has got to be fired-up after listening to what Cartwright had to say!"
Commentator Troy: "Don't come out Mad Dog! You'll have a heart attack and die too!"

After Cartwright finishes his promo, the arena is silent in anticipation of Mad Dog's entrance. The anticipation builds as nothing happens, everyone simply waiting. For 30-40 seconds, nothing happens before finally the lights cut to blackness. The hissing, screeching sounds of harsh noise fill the venue as the words DEATH STYLE display on the Tron, the only thing visible in the darkness. KSSSSHHHHHHDDDDTTTTTTTKKKKKKPPPPPPSSSSSSSHHHHHHHH...The lights come up and the audience pops LOUDLY, creating a lot of noise in addition to Mad Dog's "music". Mad Dog walks out from behind the curtain, side stage, and makes his way to center stage. His hair is still tied back in a neat ponytail and he is wearing bright orange wrestling trunks, pads, and boots in what can only be a tribute to Kenta Kobashi. Holding his arms out, palms open, Mad Dog tilts his head back in his signature Hardcore Messiah pose. Commentator Guy: Mad Dog is in the building!Commentator Troy: And it seems like everyone wants a piece of Mad Dog since his big return!"Hailing from the deep and dirty South by way of Osaka, Japan, weighing in at 250 pounds, Mad Dog!" Mad Dog has no weapons with him this time as he begins his slow descent down the ramp, holding his arms out to touch hands with fans as he takes his time walking to the ring. The cheers continue as Mad Dog stops in front of the ring, locking eyes with Cartwright. The two had a long history and had not seen each other in years. Mad Dog smiles to himself and shakes his head as he steps up the ring steps and onto the apron. Commentator Guy: Mad Dog doesn't have any weapons with him tonight! He said in his interview earlier that he wants to show his newly learned wrestling moves!Commentator Troy: And what an opponent to practice them on! This should be a classic!Standing on the apron with his back to the ropes, Mad Dog looks out at the cheering audience before slowly leaning back and flipping over the top rope into the ring. Walking past Cartwright, Mad Dog climbs a turnbuckle and holds his arms out again - The Hardcore Messiah! Jumping down from the turnbuckle, Mad Dog faces Cartwright. He does not grab a microphone to respond, instead he remains in his corner and waits for the bell to ring. Commentator Guy: It looks like Mad Dog will be doing his talking in the ring!

The bell rings and the match starts with a roar from the crowd, everyone is excited to see the match.
Cartwright approaches Mad Dog and tests the mans attitude by offering a handshake.
Has the Mad Dog mellowed into a respectable figure after all this time?! We'll see!
Commentator Guy: "Cartwright is all about the spirit of competition!"
Commentator Troy: "Don't shake his hand Mad Dog, he was trashing you!"
Commentator Guy: "He also put him over too! This is why you aren't a wrestler Troy, you're so sensitive! Those were called fighting words!"
Commentator Guy: "Listen to yourself! You're crazy!"

Mad Dog steps forward and takes Cartwright's hand in a firm, almost overly-tight handshake. Holding onto the shake just a bit too long, Mad Dog gives Cartwright an intense stare, non-verbally communicating that he didn't approve of Cartwright's words before finally releasing Carty's hand and returning to his corner.
Commentator Guy: A show of sportsmanship between these two competitors.
Commentator Troy: Mad Dog looked like he didn't want to let go!
When the bell rings, Mad Dog will step forward and attempt a lockup with Cartwright.

Clearly Mad Dog was enjoying touching Cartwright because not only did he hold his hand for way too long but now he wants to lock-up with Cartwright!
But Cartwright is happy to accept the lock-up! Cartwright is aware that Mad Dog wants to prove his wrestling ability tonight and Cartwright, being the gentleman that he is, is happy to give him this chance!
It's just such a shame that his chance is against Cartwright!
The two men lock-up and Cartwright tries to test Mad Dog early by transitioning into a simple side headlock.

Mad Dog is headlocked for a moment, but immediately goes for a counter. Taking a few steps back, Mad Dog attempts to lean back and send Cartwright off the ropes. If successful, Mad Dog will meet him on his return with a big shoulder check.

Mad Dog shows Cartwright exactly what he has learned as he whips Cartwright into the ropes. Cartwright was preparing for something on the rebound, but Mad Dog strikes quicker than Cartwright was expecting him to, charging his right shoulder forward with such force that Cartwright is knocked down on to his back!
Cartwright looks-up at Mad Dog and smiles. Shuffling himself into the top right turnbuckle and holding his chest where the shoulder struck, Cartwright knows that he is dealing with a strong man.

Approaching Cartwright, Mad Dog looks to continue the attack by attempting to light up his chest with some hard chops in the corner.

Mad Dog isn't going to let Cartwright have time to contemplate his next move, as he walks towards him and strikes him with multiple back hands to the chest.
WOO!
WOO!
WOO!
WOO!
WOO!
Cartwright chest begins to turn a shade of red as he absorbs each blow, bouncing slightly off the ground and up the turnbuckle on each strike.

Mad Dog shakes his hand out after putting some extra mustard on those chops. He then follows up by attempting a snapmare on Cartwright, hoping to build a bit of momentum. If successful, he will stiffly kick him square in the back upon completion.

Mad Dog puts an arm around Cartwright and is about to snapmare him, when Cartwright sees an opening. He tries to counter by grabbing the arm around him and twisting it behind his back for a classic hammerlock.

Squirming a bit, Mad Dog lowers himself to an almost seated position, getting Cart to bend over with him as he holds onto the hammerlock. Then rising up and using his free arm, Mad Dog will reach and hook Cartwright's neck for another snapmare attempt!
((Are there rope breaks in BBW? Is this ECW rules?))

Mad Dog squirms and wiggles as he tries to get himself into a good position for his next move. Cartwright is too busy thinking he is schooling this hardcore hack from an era long gone in the fine art of technical wrestling, keeping his hammerlock applied no matter the cost. The tactic does indeed end up costing him as Mad Dog flips Cartwright over on to his arse with the snapmare, forcing him to release his hammerlock as he goes over.
Cartwright can't believe that Mad Dog was able to escape his technical wrestling like that! Cartwright quickly gets back up to his feet and golf claps Mad Dog. He returns to a wrestling stance as he has plenty of much more devastating holds that he is ready to burst-out.
Commentator Guy: "It looks like Cartwright is impressed!"
Commentator Troy: "I guess Mad Dog really did go to Japan and learn how to wrestle!"
Commentator Guy: "If Mad Dog couldn't have escaped from a hammerlock, he couldn't have escaped from anything else!"
Commentator Guy: "Hey! It may be a basic and classic wrestling move but there's a reason for that! It works!"
