"Oh, oh, oh!" Chrysoar grinned and bounced with excitement, his curls bouncing right along with him. "Let's go hit up the local watering hole! We're new to the area, this will be a great way to get out there and meet some new soquili..." He waggled his eyebrows at the legendary Lorimer Encantador and added, "Maybe meet some new LAADIES...." He flashed a grin at the strong and ever silent Pinzin Kneadles, "I bet we can even find a sweet little number for you, what do you say, buddy?"

NO! Pinzin said NO, that's what he said. At least, what he tried to say. But what came out was "Mmph!" He still had no idea why he was with these two buffoons. He was safe and... relatively happy where he had been. Somehow these two had hoodwinked him. What he did know was that going anywhere public with them, for whatever reason, was a Bad Idea. Anything Chrysoar suggested was usually a Bad Idea. And he tried to tell them so, though the words came out muffled thanks to his sewn lips.
"Pinzin is right!" Lorimer agreed, wholeheartedly, grinning a bit. His eyes sparkled with excitement. "Just think of all those lovely lonely ladies in need of our assistance! Why, it'd be positively criminal of us NOT to go!"
Oh for spirits' sake!

Chrysoar nodded slowly, "You know, my friend, when you are right, you are right!" After all, he was some type of golden knight in tree grain armor. "I simply couldn't live with myself if we denied those fair maidens the pleasure of our radiant personalities." His deer tail was twitching excitedly. "Now...Where is the Waterhole?"

"Mmw mghphs M Mngh?" Pinzin demanded. Really, he had no clue where anything was. As Chrysoar had said, they were new to the area. How was he supposed to know where the Waterhole was?
"Quite right, my quiet friend," Lori agreed. "It must be to the east. Watering holes are always to the east!"

"Really?" Lori asked, surprised. "I wonder why. It's a basic fact of life."
No. No it wasn't. Pinzin grumbled unintelligibly to himself, not even bothering to try and convince the two idiots that they were going in the wrong direction. He could hear the water a little to the south of them. What would be the point, though? And besides... it might be safer for everyone involved if they DIDN'T find the Waterhole.

"You know I adore them all," Chrysoar said as he grinned. "Now we just need to find one to adore me. And someone to adore our buddy, Pinzin. Poor guy, I know your sweet talking skills aren't real great....but that why you have us!"

"Sadly, Pinzin will be a little harder to match up," Lori admitted, deflating a bit. "No offense, my friend, but you are a bit... er... well, a bit of a tough sell."
Pinzin glared daggers at them both, trying to convey to them with expressions only just how much he hated them.

"Oh come on, Lori," the stallion chided. "What Pinzin lacks in social graces he makes up for with...." Chrysoar faltered and struggled to complete his comment. "Um, with a...wonderful personality! He's a real diamond in the rough. He just needs some lovely lady to take a shine to him and give him some polish and panache, right, Pinzin?"

I hate you, I hate you, I hate you, Pinzin thought at the cerynei. His eyes narrowed, willing their tiny brains to pick up the telepathic message. He could almost imagine hearing an echo as his words bounced around those empty heads.
"Quite right, quite right," Lori agreed, perking up again. "There's a mare out there for you, Pinzin, my stallion! We just have to find her!"

"Right after we find one or two for us..." Chrysoar muttered exchanging a knowing grin with Lori. "But don't worry, buddy - we'll take care of you too! Hey!!!" He paused mid step causing whoever was behind him to bump into him. "Do you guys hear that?" he asked, his long ears swiveling trying to determine the location of the sound. "I...I think it's falling water...what do you guys think?"

Lori stumbled into Chrys, causing Pinzin to just barely miss stepping on his tail. He cocked his head as he listened carefully. "By the spirits, I think you're right!" he gasped, rather as if this revelation was shocking to him. It was possible he had forgotten where they were going.
Pinzin eyed Lori's tail, all curly and very close to him now that the other stallion was still. The curls were tight and bouncy. He was pretty sure if he stepped on one, it would take several steps before Lori even realized that Pinzin was standing on it. Now, the question was... if Pinzin let it stretch as far as it could go then let go, would it snap back with enough force to sting Lori's rump? Pinzin gave the possibility some serious consideration, ignoring the two morons in front of him.
