He found one, in the form of the less majestic little peacock that seemed to have the same work schedule as he did. She wouldn't complain, spars with Dylon were always simple and clean. A good workout, worry free.
Was she still talking about sparring?

Dylon whistled, waggling his brows as a fine little woman entered the field. "Girl, it's you!" He grinned. "Round two, bring it on!" The dark haired man summoned his weapons, and once Maebe was ready, darted after her. He swung down, aiming for her weapon or her arms. Trying to deflect any attempts at attacking him. HP: 40 Damage: 5

Maebe's trident was barely out when Dylon came for her, knocking her back a peg. She dug her heels into the sand and thrusted back at him, her elbow ribbing him playfully after her trident had taken its hit. "Two for two, now. If we have another spar, we'll have to play catch up." For once, she was actually just teasing. But there was no way to know that. HP: 45 Damage: 4

She waited for the sting of his strike to pass, before circling him predatorily.
"I can tell you're getting stronger. Pretty soon, you might even get me on my back."
She leapt at him, tackling him to the ground as her trident plunged into his shield. "But not quite yet."

Dylon's smile was sly at her words, itching to reply with something flirty. When, suddenly, Maebe overpowered him in the blink of an eye. The air was knocked from his lungs, and she was over top of him, her weapon pressing sharply into his body.
He looked stunned for a moment, but eventually he looked very pleased with her. "Hot damn! Sweeping a man off his feet there, eh?" He laughed, with a wince, as he kicked up to try and knock away her weapon and free himself.

She bounced off of him easily, dropping to her a** when he got up and away. "You know me." She chuckled out. Her body crouched before attacking, stabbing with a light-hearted, almost playful jolt. "But oh, to be the girl who really sweeps you off of your feet one day. That will surely be a sight." HP: 40 Damage: 5

Dylon chuckled, "Don't bet too much money on that one." He said in a tone much too light hearted for the subject at hand. "You'll be waiting on it forever." The athletic former swim team member slashes away at one of Maebe's strikes, jutting a bladed hand in toward her torso. HP: 21 Damage: 5

And she believed him. Dylon would remain, always, a beautiful free spirit. She envied that a little, but pity began to reach in and take it's place. She used her trident to knock him down, and then immediately held her hand out for him, to pick him up again. "Good. You're too beautiful to be pinned down." Her face tightened in a smirk, and she ducked her head. "Except in a spar, of course." Damage: 3 HP: 35

Dylon laughed. "You seem to like seeing me pinned down. Secret kink there, Maebe?" He smiled wicked, twisting his blades through the prongs of her trident, ignoring the offered hand. He twisted it, grabbed the handle, and pulled Maebe down on the ground. He rolled, pinning his knee over her thigh. "I like being on top waaaay better~." HP: 18 Damage: 8

The world fell out from under her, and she felt it rising up to meet her back as he pinned her down flat on the ground and held her there. He was power and seduction, coupled with the ease of light-hearted joy, and she was not in a position to deny that his special assistance could have come in handy. But she was trying to be good.. and he was making that far more difficult when he was on top of her, pinning her down. (In truth, her actual not so secret kink.) He'd seen that face before on her. He should have known it very well. She prodded him weakly with her trident, in a vain and half-hearted attempt to get him to roll off of her. "Why do you have to be so damn cute?" She growled up at him in frustration. HP: 27 Damage: 4

"I make it my business to be adorable~. Keeps the ladies coming for more." He gave her a wink, and then made kissy faces at her for good measure. It didn't seem fair to keep her pinned in a spar, even though he quite enjoyed it. He got up off of her, having likely pushed down a little too hard on her as he did so. "I can't turn it off though! A curse~." HP: 14 Damage: 5

But he did turn it off, simply by getting off of her and giving her the room to breathe. She sucked in cold air, and let it wash over her skin, remaining where she was as it cooled what had already become superheated.
"Yup." She chuckled out, climbing slowly up to her feet. "A curse."
So cursed she never even tried to attack this time, shh.

Dylon smiled coyly, taking in how unbalanced Maebe seemed. Had he seduced her? "Aw, do you miss me? I could've stayed if you asked~." Too bad sexy times didn't really count towards training. "I mean, it's kind of out in the open for a quickie but.." He laughed then, waving his hand to pass it off as joking. "Come on~ Let's wrap this up!" He came at her again, to disarm her from her weapon. HP: 14 Damage: 3
