Ziriel and Ambrose hadn't been away from the area where they lived for long. They decided to go for a stroll since Ziriel's mate Shadena was resting. Like certain days Ziriel couldn't keep still. So he bribed his buddy Ambrose into going with him. Ambrose is a goat. Sure, it may be strange that his best friend is a goat with identical markings as his own. Heck he even has scales like him. Something he couldn't believe when he came across him. But they became instant buddies ever since.

Jumping over a fallen log he continues on a well traveled path. It is a nice day. A little windy but definitely not in any way bad weather. Looking over his shoulder he grins."Come on Ambrose. Get over here. It's just a log and really unless you want to go into the water. There really isn't a way around it. Those bushes are thorny and they would give you many cuts." Ambrose looks at Ziriel and then at the log. "I don't think I can jump it. I'm not tall like you!" Looking at the goat Ziriel snorts."I've seen you jump higher than that! Come on Ambrose."

Ambrose moves back and soon runs towards the log and jumps up and hits the log but doesn't get up on it as didn't jump high enough. Ziriel watches and blinks as a voice comes from around them. Gaze turns to Sleet as he listens."Greetings. I am Ziriel and this is my friend Ambrose.. he is having a little bit of trouble getting over the log. It is in quite a bad spot huh? " Looking at the log he moves to look in both ways." There's an area up over this way that opens up.. Do you think that with each of us we could roll it over to the area? A second opinion is always good to have." Looking at the log again he wonders about the possibility of them being able to move it. It doesn't seem like it would be too heavy for two stallions. Ambrose could always headbutt but he doesn't thing that would be much help.

Ziriel nods." I would very much appreciate the help. I am sure Ambrose would too. We came out to go for a stroll as my mate Shadena is resting.. And to say the least. I got a bit restless so decided to leave her to rest without my movement to bother her." Watching him leap over he nods as he gets into position. Using his forehead and horns to help."Ready over here. Let's get this log moved." Bracing himself he waits."Oh Ambrose. If you could move back. I don't want you to get caught under the log dear friend.." Ambrose nods."Thank you for your concern. I'm fine Sir Sleet. Don't worry about me." Turning he trots to where the area opens up. "Okay you two. You can start pushing."

Ambrose tilts his head and thinks."A knight huh? How did you become one of those?" The goat not really being much into anything besides being content and just doing what would provide happiness in his and Ziriel's life doesn't know much about anything else. Zirel moves forward glad to have the help of someone else. It is indeed easier with two stallions pushing rather than one. "Yes I hope so too. With how pleasant the weather is I think the warmth of the sun had lulled her to sleep. Though I am sure she will wake probably within an hour or two. Do you ever take naps Sir Sleet?"

Ambrose thinks on his reply and nods." That sounds like a common response..Probably a lot of others want to be knights to do that. Though I wouldn't know. Your the first I met. " Ambrose trots ahead. His little head bobbing with his movements. Ziriel looks up at the sky and nods."Yes the weather is nice. I don't think she would sleep more than an hour or two. Probably in an hour we will head back. Wouldn't want to leave her for too long. " His eyes look at the younger stallion."You should try it sometime. As you get older you will learn that sometimes one can't keep going without rest or a break."
