Another day, another patrol, and Sailor Elpis wasn't keen to skip the important task of patrol, instead taking her work seriiously - especially since she wanted to have plenty to take back to her father soon, well aware Kells would want to know what she learned to file away in his mental notebook, the man ever-eager to learn what she did - as long as his 'precious daughter' wasn't fighting, at least. Elpis, for her part, avoided predictability by taking different routes as able, putting off henshining until finding suitable points to henshin, and she began to work out what areas might be worth looking into patrolling with others. Today was a bordering route, one taking the metal senshi along a path towards a rougher area for chaos, or so she assumed - she wasn't sure, and while in a safer area she was checking her phone just in case every so often. The message calling for help in the woods was not amiss, in her memory, and while it alerted her if she had messages clearly, she often hoped the sender was alright, and the senshi walked before freezing on top of a building, looking around with a wide, alarmed expression. Something in the area had an aura she didn't recognize well - beyond power, a significant amount that felt like it might swallow her alive and the Senshi began to look for it cautiously, eyes wide. "What the..."

Camelot was not one to stay down too long. He could not help himself. Though he had been badly injured in his last fight, he just could not stay in the hospital, away from his library and his patrols, for as long as the doctors said. He did not tell them of his night job, of course, but even a library seemed to be too much work for him according to them.
He knew, though, that if he could take a few trips to Camelot, the wonder, then he would be much better off.
Tonight, though, he was sitting on the roof, powered up and reclining in a chair he had dragged out from the library itself, cushioned and comfortable. He could not move around too much, as damaged as his back was, and with the broken leg, so he opted to sit. It was easier on his body and did not hurt as much. He had his eyes closed, just listening to the night, and feeling for auras nearby.
He felt a smaller aura nearby, but it was white moon and not something he feared, so he remained where he was, waiting for it to come closer to him, if it wanted to. Maybe he could get up and go find the source... but if he hurt himself any worse while being out here against medical advice, his wife would kill him.

Elpis slowly crept from her position with caution, deciding to investigate with a few moments before to simply determine if she dared even risk it. One didn't learn without risk, and she approached carefully, making sure to watch for the source, pausing once in hiding. A man in armor, and a chair, and the senshi tilted her head. A knight?....Reminded her of some cartoons she watched, and she blinked before drawing close, confused. Kells hardly put out this sort of aura, and the senshi drew near, making sure not to hide too terribly much, aside making sure nobody below spotted her, and she finally drew near enough to speak, blinking. "Ah... Hello?" Ah, Elpis, full of grace. She mentally scowled to herself for having the grace of a potato, and sighed inwardly. Well, better than keeping silent and running, because how was an aura so strong?!

Camelot opened his eyes and smiled at her, nodding his head.
"Good evening," he said evenly, watching her curiously. He had not met this senshi before, that much was obvious. He struggled to stand up, going slowly, but feeling obligated to since it was rude to greet someone new while sitting down. He smiled at her and bowed his head, though he kept his hand on or close to the chair, just in case he needed the support.
"My name is Camelot, Royal Knight of Earth. It's nice to meet you. Did my aura draw you over here?" That was usually the way, but he was always glad for the company. Sometimes, though, people sought him out on purpose, and came to him because they knew this was where they could find him. Either way, he was always ready to help in whatever way he could.
That was just who he was.

"Sailor Elpis, the Senshi of Metal." Elpis blinked, head tilting curiously. "So you are a knight." The baffled look on her face was hard to hide, the senshi blinking a bit before tilted her head the ovther way before proper manners kicked in and she awkwardly nodded back. At his question, she nodded again. "Yeah. I. Uhm. Your aura could eat a truck." And she immediately kicked herself for word choice. She tried speaking better usually!.... All the same se wasn't used to this and she blinked, eyes wide.

Camelot nodded his head, smiling. He committed her name to memory, as he tried to do with everyone he met. There seemed to be less and less space in his head these days, but he was doing his best.
He owed everyone that respect, at the very least, to remember their names. He wanted to be helpful and available to everyone, after all.
Her comment about his aura made him laugh, though, and he shook his head.
"Ah, yes, it is a pretty large aura, isn't it? I wish I could control it a little bit, but this is what it is now. I use it to let anyone powered up know I am out and about. In case senshi or knights want to come talk to me, or to give the Negaverse a bit of a warning. Usually I can actually... walk around. Right now I'm still recovering a bit."
He needed to heal more before he tried to patrol like normal. Even sitting out here was enough to strain him.

"Sounds useful" Elpis noted, and seemed thoughtful. "Though admittedly tactically it sounds like it might also run some risk of attracting trouble." She smiled awkwardly, seeming apologetic abut poor wording prior, then blinked. Hurt? "How were you hurt, if I might ask? You seem kind of hard to damage." She blinked. "Do you need help?" Even if his aura could probably eat her, she did worry. He seemed nice, and it was simply polite after intruding so.

"Oh, no, I'm alright. I ah... well. I stepped in a bear trap at the wrong time, and a Negaverse General opted to stab me a few times in the back because of it."
He blinked at her for a moment, waiting for a beat to let that strange sentence sink in before he endeavored to change the subject.
"So. Senshi of Metal, hm? How long have you been awakened, if it's not too prying of me to ask. Have you visited your homeworld yet? I can only imagine where the senshi of Metal might hail from." He looked thoughtful, smiling as he did.
He really did like homeworlds and wonders, and being able to talk about them or, even better, visit them with others. From sharing his own wonder with someone, or being able to go to their homeworld with them, he always delighted in the trips. And right now, the healing magic in his wonder, at least, was helping him quite a lot.

"Negaverse Generals so far seem like creeps. I'm sorry to hear that." Elpisd resonded respectfully. She gladly followed the topic change, but grinned awkwardly. "Aasah, only a month, but I know... A couple people or met them before I awakened, and then there was a whole incident with a party, so I wasn't too lost. Mostly knights I knew then though. Awakened with a really nice guy, same time." She blushed a bit, grinning some, then blinked. "Homeworld...? Not yet, no. I'm not sure how to go about that. I mostly patrol, keep an eye out. Try not to initiate fights." A trait she seemed to sound unsure of. "I mean. I want to sock a lot of the Nega agents, but some seem like decent people." And she sighed, shrugging."So I wonder how good people get mixed up with people who throw civilians out windows." Not a memory she cherished - but she didn't cry over it. Still - one memory she didn't want.

"A month. That's not too bad. You've learned a lot so far, I imagine? I'm glad you've met some friendly knights and senshi, too, that's always good to hear. I like to think we are all in this together, and our greatest strengths lie in our ability to help one another, and share what we've learned to help others grow as well."
He knew he had learned a lot of very difficult lessons that he would be all too glad to help others avoid. If he could share the information he learned without them having to suffer what he had to, then he would do so.
"Oh, well! I'm not too sure how it works for senshi, as I've never been one," he grinned at her, looking a bit sheepish. He did not think he would look very good in a skirt, "but I do know how it works for Knights. And it might not be too dissimilar."
"For us, we need to be ready for it, and then words that bring us back to our homeworld come to us. When we repeat those words, while we are at peace, we can travel to the Wonder we are named for. So I, of course, can visit Camelot. Am I over explaining things? I tend to do that. Ah. In any case, I think your method involves your phone, from what I've experienced."
He frowned at her comments about the negaverse, though, shaking his head.
"Some corruption is not voluntary. And Chaos corrupts in more ways than one. Unfortunately, even good people can be lost or caught up in it."

"Try to. I actually run into more knights than senshi, at least, on our 'side'." But the Dark Mirror seemed pretty okay too, in her book. Elpis moved to sit near Camelot, looking up to listen to the older man thoughtfully. "I know a Knight I'll have to explain this to, then, if he can ever settle his a** down." Elpis gave an awkward laugh before shaking her head. "I'll have to try visiting my Homeworld, too, before I go further." She was quiet before responding to his comment about Chaos. The notion of forceful corruption brought her hand to her chest defensively, and she frowned, taking a sharp breath as she thought back to Fulgurite, and she frowned. "Someone needs to help the people who need it. At least to keep them from - warping. What's Camelot like?" Elpis pounced the topic needily, brows raising curiously. "Were the descriptions in the stories real or just fairy tales? If I can ask."

"I think it's worth it to explore what you're named for, and where you come from. I mean, where your powers come from. The history that is tied to all of our names is fascinating, no doubt about that, and so expansive. Everyone has so much to learn."
He loved homeworlds and wonders, and wished he could visit all of them himself. It was why he encouraged others to at least visit theirs. And of course, anyone that wanted to come to Camelot was always welcome to.
"Camelot is just as the books have you imagine it, and a thousand times more beautiful. I can't do it justice, really, but I would be happy to show you, some time, if you'd like. Visiting actually helps me heal a bit faster, but I always feel guilty if I go there alone. It's something that should be shared."
He chuckled, though it was actually a true sentiment. He did like to go with others, more than he did alone, but he did like learning in peace and quiet too.

"Uggghh, that sounds amazing." pis shook her head. "Mine's probably what - a rock? " The senshi made a face before pausing and glancing up, blinking. "Visit-- I haven't said yes already? I'd love to go, sometime. I mean - oh man." And suddenly Elpis was squirming in excitement where she sat. "It's gotta be cool, the books were so pretty and aaauuuggghhh!" And Elpis wiggled excitedly enough to fall over, blinking. "Uhm... Sorry. I... Dad and I used to read a lot together when I was a kid, about all kinds of places." She paused. "I wonder if his Wonder has a manuscript, too."
