Chandra Post 1It would be a lie if Chandra would say that he wasn't excited, he had been so depressed about Eira rejecting him but it was really nice to just actually get along with someone, even if he didn't completely agree with Syv's ideals about fighting. Fighting was apart of life, but he wasn't going to push that right now. He had requested his uncle to meet with Syv, and thus he had hurried his way to their appointed meeting area at a brisk pace. Awen...was feeling much better at this point, though her wings were mended she was still a bit slowly than she would of been normally and thus was riding atop of Chandra's head clutching onto his hair as he moved. "Now Awen I want you to be nice to Syv, she is really excited to me you." Chandra stressed as she didn't want the sprite to get super jealous all over again and quite possible hurt herself of the leaf girl. Seeing the boulder they had met days before he walked around it and looked around trying to see if he could spot the girl but not with any luck just yet.

Sy was late. She knew that she was, but there was no helping it. Her mother had been fussing over her since she had come home to her daughter laying prone on the floor bleeding from the head. When she finally had managed to get away, Syqvara all but ran to get to the place she had met Chandra before. It would be some minutes after he got there that she would be seen walking toward him. In a hurried after thought she moved her hair out from behind her ear where she normally kept it so that it could hide the nasty looking cut and bruise on her temple. Once she was close enough she'd smile and wave at Chandra. "Sorry I'm late."

Chandra post 2He had his back to her when he heard the sound of foot steps he half turned to see her coming towards him, actually it was the tug of his hair that really alerted him that something was coming as Awen had spotted the girl coming up the way. Turning he offered Sy a smile before giving a shrug. "That's fine we weren't waiting long. Right Awen? Why don't you go say hello?" Chandra stated as he looked up without tilting his head else he risked tossing the sprite off from her perch. The little sprite was giving Sy the stink eye however, no matter what Chandra may of told her and scolded her into behaving she disliked all women that got near her human. Still she had to 'place nice' and giving what sounded like an exasperated sigh she flitted down from Chandra's head to flew perhaps a bit too close to Sy's face. Looking like a child pouting as she avoided eye contact with the young lady. "My uncle is still getting stuff together back home, we should probably make our way back." Chandra stated with a nod of his head feeling rather light hearted today.

She smiled, thankful she hadn't kept him waiting long. When he spoke to the sprite on his head her eyes went toward Awen. Instantly Sy's face lit up. "Oh, you brought her. How cute." When the sprite got close up to her face Syqvara couldn't help the chuckle she gave at the little thing's pouty face. "Hello Awen, I'm Syqvara. I'm glad you're feeling better." It amazed her how easy it was to speak around Chandra and his little familiar. There was little hint of her stutter, if it showed at all, but she still had those cute blushing cheeks. When Chandra said they should get going she blinked vacantly for a moment. Go? Go wher- Oh! "Of course. Oh and I have your book.." Taking the book out from under her arm she'd look at Awen. "Is it alright if I give this back to him?"

Chandra post 3The sprite looked less inclined to be 'friendly' and was just putting up with the pleasantries until she got the go ahead to leave the girl and go back to Chandra. Who was giving her a stern look, that only read as 'behave'. Sighing the sprite nodded her head and gave a chittering chirp that would translate into something rather inappropriate and it was the one time she was happy she couldn't speak the language and that they couldn't understand it either. Chandra though had been around his sprite long enough to know that she wasn't happy and whatever it was she said...wasn't nice. Still he wasn't going to make it obvious to Sy and thus ignored it for now. "Did you read it already?" He inquired wondering if she was an avid reader like himself. "Did you enjoy it?" was his next question. He moved in closer to her only to have Awen toss him a glare and flutter in his face to halt his movement. No closer. Was pretty much the sprites stance on him getting any closer to Sy. "Ah..yes of course, my uncle will be delighted that you read it." Chandra mentioned looking at his sprite and giving her an exasperated sigh, this was going to be an interesting day. "Well its in this direciton will take us about half an hour if we walk casually." the hybrid managed as he tried to look around Awen who was making it positively awkward.

Sy didn't take the sprite's attitude personally, after all Chandra had warned her ahead of time. She nodded her head to his questions, both of them, and when he moved forward she did as well, holding the book out to him. However, when Awen stopped him Syqvara couldn't help but giggle. "You weren't kidding." She dared to take the extra step so that he could take the book from her hands and leaned to the side so that he could see her. There was a grin on her face that said she was nothing but amused with his familiar. "We better start walking then." Before her mother came looking for her or sent her twin after her.

Chandra nodded his head, exasperated already by Awen's snooty attitude towards females. He would throttle her if he thought it would make any difference... reaching out he took the book and slipped it easily into the satchel at his side like it belonged there. As they began walking towards his uncles and he felt rather elated. But..not entirely sure what to discuss. "So what did you think of the book? Its really more useful in the forest of Jahaur than in Tale as it covers more of the plants there but its still pretty interesting don't you think?" Chandra inquired figuring the best thing to talk about was the book itself. The sprite gave a huff when Sy dare try and get closer and she had to refrain from pulling the girls hair. Keeping herself in check was harder than she anticipated so instead she tried just being annoying. Flying to and from Sy's face really close and making funny faces at her.

As they walked, and she was plagued with a sprite that was making faces at her , Sy couldn't help but smile. Her focus went from where they were walking to the sprite that flitted about. As Awen made faces Sy made some of her own. While she figured the little creature was none too happy with her she wasn't going to get upset. After all, Chandra belonged to Awen. In between the face making she answered the boy. "They were interesting. I'd love to actually see some of the plants." Casting him a glance she'd make a funny face at him, thinking he wouldn't see, then went back to the small game she was playing with Awen.

Chandra Post: 5The small sprite seemed unamused that her teasing wasn't very effective. In fact the girl seemed to be enjoying it and returning her faces back at her. Pouting the little sprite gave a impatient stomp in the air before fluttering back and settling on Chandra's head, obviously she had hoped that Syv would be annoyed not happy about what she was doing. Chandra was surprised to see how quickly the sprite had given up teasing Syv but he didn't mind as it meant he could focus on talking to the girl rather than walking in silence with her. "Well someday if you are up to it I could take you into Jahaur. Its my home as well as Tale since my father lives there." Chandra mentioned as they continued on their way. "That is if you want..." Chandra backtracked slightly as he felt perhaps he was being too forward with the girl.

When the little familiar went back to sit on Chandra's shoulder Sy couldn't help but give a bit of a smile. "You must be tired still, Awen. We can play later." It was then that she heard Chandra speak and she nodded her head a bit. "That would be nice. Could my twin brother come along as well?" It was here that she bit at her bottom lip, wondering if asking for her sibling to go along was a bit much. Her brother had expressed a wish to meet her friend though and that was a good way to do it. At least, she hoped it was. Syqvara reached up and tucked her hair behind her ear, as she always did, completely forgetting that she had the bruise and cut on her temple. Playing with the sprite had made her forget to hide it.

Chandra post 6 The hybrid gave a thoughtful sound, she wanted to bring her twin with them and other than he just didn't want others along it seemed rather rude to just tell her no. His smile did somewhat fade though as he replied, "Ah..yeah sure your brother can come. If he wants to." He stated off handedly as if it really didn't matter to him, but he was getting along well with Syv and he didn't want her to see his rather grumpy angry side. Glancing to his side to look at the girl he noted, now with her hair tucked back a nasty looking bruise and cut across her temple. Stopping abruptly he put an arm out to stop Syv's movement. "When did that happen?" He asked with much scrutiny.

She took note of his smile fading a bit and frowned. Had she over stepped by asking if her brother could tag along? Though he agreed she felt that he wasn't so pleased with the idea. "I'm sorry, its just that... Cyn would like to meet you." Syqvara was busy looking at her feet now, so when he put his arm out to stop her she saw it and paused. Blinking she'd look up at him as he asked about the cut. Turning to look away from him she'd lift her shoulders slightly. "A couple days ago during the heavy rains." Quickly she'd move to untuck her hair and have it fall to cover the injury once more. How could she have forgotten about it? Clearing her throat a bit she'd do her best to step slightly out of reach and around his arm. Sy hoped he would attribute it to her being clumsy or something. Telling him how it really happened would be embarrassing for her since she told him that fighting was pointless.

Still frowning he would drop the subject of her brother for now, instead he reached out to move her hair out of her face so he could look at the wound again. It wasn't deep or horrible, he was pretty sure he could heal it. Though weither she would want him to was beyond him. He could ask however. "I am not as good as my uncle but I could probably heal that up for you." Chandra offered as he wondered what she could of been doing during the rainy period to get it. "Did you slip and fail?"

With him reaching out to move her hair she simply looked at him. It was odd to have someone else move her hair out of her face. She knew it was so he could look at the wound but she couldn't help the blush that bloomed in her cheeks. It brought to mind the conversation she and her brother had had. It also made her remember that Chandra already had someone he was interested in. So closing her eyes she'd nod her head. "If you think you can get those warm feelings you need for healing, then please." As for how she got it? Well, she didn't want to lie to him so she remained silent on that account.

Chandra Post 8Chandra noted that she wasn't entirely up for telling her how she got the wound int he first place, it made him feel a bit self conscious as she reminded him how he got 'the warm feelings' in order to heal. He had been rather angry lately, with being rejected he couldn't find the warm feelings he needed to heal. But he would have to think hard about what made him warm and tingly inside. "Ah..." He balked for a moment, realizing that he had touched the girl and invaded her personal space without even asking if it was okay. Swallowing he wanted back off and tell her to let his uncle take care of it, but she had already told him it was okay. It would be beyond embarrassing if he failed, Awen however was furious that he was close to the girl and in fact flew from her perch and came between the girl and his hand trying to push his hand out of the way, fluttering like mad. Distracted from his thoughts about failure he glowered at Awen's actions. After all she was getting in the way again.
