Floral Park

Located right outside the guild itself, in such a way one has to actually cut through it to reach the guild, is a massive and vibrant park.
The Floral park is cared for and tended by a small group of Tropius who helped to form it, they grew every single plant in the entire park and are quite proud of their achievement so woe be to the fool who damages the foliage on purpose.

A cobblestone path leads through the park and makes a circle around the ornate fountain at the center. The fountain's centerpiece is a Milotic curved up with its head bowed, water spraying from its mouth down into the pool beneath it.

Irilyss

Just outside the Guild, in the square that led up to its main entrance, a female Gardevoir sat unobtrusively on a bench. She'd been there since sunrise, though few had noticed her in their coming and going. Irilyss wasn't the type to attract much attention, and she had deliberately damped her Psychic for the purpose of this visit, so that others of her type would only pick up on minor, neutral pulses coming from her person. Naturally she couldn't stop it entirely, nor did she have any desire to; it was just a matter of convenience--this method had served her well for years. It was her way of interacting with the world: trying to leave as little influence on it as possible.

The Psychic had come here to people watch, but had found herself swept away in cloud watching instead. Her ruby eyes stared up into the blue above, and she watched in undisguised wonder as clouds of various shapes and sizes passed her by. Irilyss amused herself by naming them. She would search for all of the different shapes she could find in a single cloud, and then determine what it should be called from that. It was more challenging than one might imagine, since the clouds never stopped changing form and reflecting new colors as the hours passed by; it was a game that could never be won, and this brought the Gardevoir a deep sense of satisfaction.

She only looked down to respond to the presence of other Pokemon near her, sparing them a glance and a thought before turning back to what truly held her interest. They'd called her away from the sky plenty of times, at least twenty new recruits wandering into the Guild aside from the many previously employed Guild members who always seemed to be in a hurry when they came and went. The Psychic wouldn't deny that she'd once been rather curious about how the Guild could be so efficient--it seemed the new strategy for productivity was to use as much help as they could get. She was somewhat irritated by the whole affair, but she knew there would be no stopping it; this was just another trial for this world to overcome. The Gardevoir hoped, for the sake of all involved, it might at least lead to better results this time.

Returning her gaze to the clouds, she caught sight of one wreathed in a delicate purple, catching hold of the shifting shades of the not-yet-setting sun. Irilyss closed her eyes and a small smile crossed her face as she felt the stirrings of nostalgia. In a quick pulse, she sent her Psychic out again, as she'd done periodically throughout the day, trying to pinpoint the location of the Pokemon she was waiting for. She'd located other familiar faces too of course--memories from other times who were wandering the Guild's halls once more--but she would tend to them another time, when the mood struck her. This one was far more important.

The Gardevoir had sensed him the moment he'd appeared in the Guild's halls, pleasantly surprised by the familiar sensation of his Psychic brushing up against hers. She never had trouble finding him. To some extent she wondered if her Psychic wasn't always trying to seek out his, no matter where she went; when they collided it gave off such a lovely chime. Sometimes she hoped that he could hear it too, other times she treasured the thought that it was likely just another product of her own mind. The sound echoed in her head even now, louder than before. He was getting closer. She opened her eyes and continued to watch the skies, locating her purple-lined cloud and watching it drift toward the sun without any hurry. Irilyss didn't mind waiting, especially not like this. She trusted that he would come eventually: Anues had never disappointed her thus far.

(First post added to second so the first can be used to make an area location.)

It was a nice day, it was early, and in any other scenario, the psychic probably would have turned a blind eye and left without second thought. He came here to do what he had to do, got sidetracked anyway, and now he was lingering. The latter two, being exhausting... but he had to. Her presence was teasing. It appeared very quietly-- harmless without any intent, but it had a very drawing light to it's minuscule flame as it made it's home in the back of his mind. A favorite color or familiar feeling perhaps. No, she was unpredictable and eerie in nature, naturally he was drawn to it. Her existence was an exercise in itself.
He wasn't big on figuring people out per se. He had his methods to figuring out hints and secrets that made them more interesting to be around over time though. Irilyss strayed from that line effortlessly in a sort of fluent, yet broken dance where those answers only branched into more questions he couldn't find the answers to. This was naturally a predicament to any deductive mind. It was infuriating, but she kept it up so naturally. He couldn't tell if it was all a play of hers, or merely something to take for what it was, and though he acted on the latter, his constant coming back rang questions of the former.
Like this strange convenience here.

He appeared silently, sitting beside the female at comfortable distance on the bench with his hands clasped in front of him and his weight supported on his arms as his vivid purple eyes idly stared off at the entrance of the renovated guild. Not a word was spoken immediately, his figure still. Their lives continuing where they left off without ever skipping a beat. It was how they lived, though the ever faint darkening of his eyes indicated time said otherwise. "...Call it force of habit, but I sort of want to burn it down."

Irilyss

She felt the male's presence before she saw him beside her, preoccupied as she was. It was a physical rather than mental presence this time--the prickling of the skin that's felt only when another person is close enough to be touched. His silence was enough to keep her from breaking it, allowing them to sit in quiet parallel for a long moment--his focus on the earth and hers on the sky.

Irilyss slowly lowered her head, glancing sidelong at her companion and taking in his appearance with a quiet scrutiny. She memorized his features again each time they met, and this time she found that he looked well, even better than she'd have anticipated. Anues allowed her a simple means to orient herself in the world and determine her place in time and space; he was the only constant she knew of, besides herself, so his presence was always enough to give her a grip on each slippery reality they passed through. There was something different about him this time though: the female could spot the telltale signs of time in his eyes, revealing that he may not be as unchanged as he appeared. This place...this time... It was later then. Different from all the others. It was to be expected she supposed, the change that had taken place: time had a funny way of doing that to others. On some level it disappointed her however, because it meant that he still fell victim to the years after all. Perhaps she would too someday, but for now the idea was just out of her reach: a cloud that could be seen but never touched.

"Asmodeus." The word seemed come from nowhere, spoken after Anues's comment but far from a direct response to it. Irilyss raised her hand to point to the sky, indicating a small, dark cloud that had dared to pass over the sun. Although it was grey, its belly gleamed with a fiery red that veined outward from the sun it had consumed. "Don't you think it's a suiting name?" she inquired. The female returned her hands to her lap slowly, taking her time before turning to look at Anues directly. "They'd be better off if it burned now," she said, a statement of fact rather than speculation, "But they can never learn from old mistakes. Just as they can never keep any of their mistakes from catching up to them." A minor touch of irritation had crept into her voice, that bordered on contempt. Sometimes it was more painful than others, knowing that nothing she could do would change any of it: she'd tried before and the results were always the same.

Irilyss took a breath, allowing some of the ire to recede, reminding herself of her place. She was there to observe and little more, as she always had been. Turning her gaze upwards once more, she found her purple-lined cloud--currently in the vague shape of a bird's wing. "What would you name that one Anues?" She asked him softly. "I've been watching it for some time, but I can't decide..."

(Sorry Darky, going to be a little slow for a bit)

Her voice was soothing. It could have been his memory slipping; you didn't exactly retain the exact tone on peoples' breath, but it really didn't seem to change at all if you'd asked him. It was comforting and nostalgic, but it was also a bit unnerving. Maybe you just sounded the same after 25 years while everything else changed. Time was a fickle thing, but he never stopped to think about it until reuniting with old places and people.
The Gardevoir's ears gave a faint twitch when she'd finally spoken up and his head made the slightest tilt to view her with the unrelated topic before finally looking up at for his answer, holding his silence. His attention drifted deep into the sky as she began to ramble into his previous comment. He liked clouds. Or, more specifically, he liked colors. The psychic had no specific favorite color, but rather liked them in gradients and pairs. Blues and purples were nice, but so were oranges with reds that bled deep, rosy pinks. They just seemed so much more complete that way... not that he planned on saying any of that aloud.

Instead, Anues finally looked down moments after her latter question. "Crazy," came his reply, disregarding her wonders with a slight wave of his hand as he leaned back against the bench. "...like you. I don't name clouds. You're free to ask Alfred though. I'm sure he's named plenty." Alfred's done some weird stuff, but, whatever. That was all beside the point. "Why are you here?" His expression neutralized as his eyes gave a quick review of the female beside him. She didn't change at all. It was hard to say if she aged well even for their species, but it wouldn't be out of the question. It was hardly in the focus of his thoughts.

Irilyss

The female Gardevoir frowned, watching her companion dismiss her question as though it didn't concern him. "I'm disappointed," she said, shaking her head. "Crazy is no sort of name for a cloud Anues. They are ethereal entities, deserving of names that reflect that status. A flower however...Crazy could be a suiting name for a flower, if you could find the one that's tailored to the name." Of course, these things were difficult to explain to those who didn't understand them inherently: although she thought higher of Anues than she did most anyone else, she doubted he was the type who could learn such things, no matter how patiently she tried to teach him. Alfred? Perhaps. She'd yet to come in contact with Anues's other constant companion, at least in a direct sense. She'd grown familiarized to the third Gardevoir's Psychic through association over the years, and the way it sometimes clung to Anues and wouldn't let him go. Irilyss sometimes wondered if either Gardevoir knew how much their essences mingled, but only when he was mentioned by another. "If your friend ever cared to share his thoughts, I would listen," she replied, "But I can't expect him to ponder something that no longer exists." It was unclear whether she was talking about the name or the cloud itself, but the female had nothng more to say on the subject, simply staring up at the sky for a long moment before deigning to respond to his question.

"Is there always a reason?" she said, making a point of ignoring his gaze. "It seems like there must always be a reason with you Anues. And, truthfully, you cannot find a reason for everything." Sometimes she couldn't find a reason for anything, but that was no secret between them; she kept it unsaid out of the simple lack of necessity. She looked down, staring at the folds of her dress, and felt the memory of burning within her left pocket. "It could be that I'm here because I choose to be: because you are here, because history has brought itself back from the dead, because there's something stirring in the air and I followed the winds where they led. It could be that I've been summoned here by something else: the turning of time, the shifting of worlds, the necessity of following my own footprints. It could be that I'm not here after all, and it's only you--talking to a memory--or me, in another place-- dreaming of a path I didn't take. All of these are just as likely." In spite of herself, she slipped her hand into the pocket and felt the kiss of metal against her skin; it may have been force of habit, just because he was nearby, but it was comforting to rest on old vices. When she returned her hands to her lap she felt the world come into focus ever so slightly around her. "Or," Irilyss said, turning to meet her companion's eyes, "You could accept that I'm here, and you're here, and reason has no bearing in this place. And instead of trying to decide which, of all possibilities, is most likely to resemble truth, there would be time enough to talk of other things. What is it that you prefer?"

"Ask Alfred what now? I'm sure he'd like to know."
It was pure luck he'd happened into the conversation at that time. He was just heading back to the guilds to find Serrin as his quick visit to the Graveyard had been interrupted needlessly but what allotted to nothing more than dramatics.

He sought out the Ivysaur as the only Pokemon worth speaking to in the guilds having picked out his specific aura among the tumult of all the others scattered about. He had thought, for a moment, that he sensed Barcel as well but he had waved the idea off. That old codger was probably still in his gardens, tending to the weeds. It was Serrin he was certain was still around as he had nothing better to do with his time than once more serve the guilds.

For better or for worse, Alfred deemed it foolish, but he held his tongue. He'd pass on his warning and be done with it.

But he had gotten sidetracked along the way to find Anues and was somewhat surprised at another presence with him. The majority of the conversation was ignored as it had nothing to do with him, yet his ears gave the most marginal of twitches as he listened to the female speak. There was a voice he could listen to for hours, it was so awful yet he had always been fond of things that ruined his perception.
Hence the plants growing in his shop. Reality was a bore.

"Hope I'm not interrupting."

If Irilyss had any particular talent in the world, it was screwing with people. Her manner of talking was off putting and a bit disconcerting as though she knew things no one else around was aware of but in no way could back up her statements. Dropping hints, questioning beliefs...The psychic's eyes glazed over with a sort of ignorance at her words. It was all noise after she'd begun to scold him for his constant need of leverage. Reason was the most basic of grounds to start upon. You were questioning logic itself if you fought reason. Acting without it, well... it often left you considered insane. Thinking about it, he got scolded a lot for one life time. Really, he hardly did anything wrong, he was just a magnet for it. Honestly, he thought it'd stop after leveling out his emotional state.
His gaze met her's for only a moment in a sort of intense silence when Alfred spoke up beside him. Had it been anyone else and the constantly on edge psychic probably would have momentarily panicked. Alfred showing up at random brought a sort of mental clarity he didn't have otherwise. Call it influence from the bond, but it was just as likely exposure over all these years. It was just a face you knew and trusted.

"...No, not at all." he replied, his gaze finally lifting from her eyes to acknowledge the other male. "Though, you two would get along wonderfully."

Irilyss

She held Anues' gaze for as long as the moment lasted, and it briefly crossed her mind that he might actually be considering what she'd said. But then, perhaps that was expecting too much; he really was far too fond of that illusion of reason. When the male looked at the new arrival, Irilyss too looked up, eyes tracing Alfred's figure for a long moment. So this was what he looked like, not so different from the impression his Psychic gave but not entirely the same. There was an incongruity there, some place where the physical and mental failed to align--the female found it most fascinating. There was something broken and mended about this one, in many places and many times over, but he still wasn't the finished product. What would he look like then, she wondered, ruby eyes flickering as she committed him to memory before turning to the sky once more.

"Clouds," she said, eyes locked on the world above their own, "I wanted to ask Alfred about the clouds." She kept to the third person, finding that it echoed charmingly in the vibrations of her vocal chords. "Anues here won't help me name them, but he tells me you may have some experience with the subject." Irilyss stared up at the sky with a careful gaze, marking each cloud as it passed. "And now, because he didn't care to answer, there's a far-off cloud that will forever go unnamed. Sad, isn't it?" Her voice lilted ever so slightly on the question, as though she was talking about something else entirely, but the moment was broken shortly after it began. "Perhaps you'd care to name Asmodeus' friend?" she asked. Her hand pointed up at a thin cloud that trailed just above the sun--a line subtracting the fiery orb from the infinite sky.

Ask him about the clouds? His gaze shifted fleetingly toward Anues at the comment regarding his experience in the subject and he showed his teeth briefly in what might have been a sneer, but it quickly broke into a more pleasant expression.
The smile that crossed Alfred's face was one of both amusement and confusion though the confusion was fleeting.
'Where did you find this one?' The question was immediate to the other male and held the slightest tinge of a laugh on its words.
Irilyss, her name known only through Anues, was interesting to say the least.
"He is quite the bore isn't he? I've told him as such but he doesn't listen." From within the folds of his coat he removed a slim white envelope and extended it out toward the silver-haired male without a word.
His attention was then directed upward at her gesture and words, blue-green eyes examining the sky before he arched a brow and glanced back down to catch the other Gardevoir's eye.
At first his lips drew into a thin line as if to remain silent but after a quiet moment of musing he broke into a partial smile, "Leviathon, I should think." Using his cane to fully support himself he leaned forward onto it lazily. "Were I that far from the others I would be envious myself."

PostPosted: Wed Apr 15, 2015 5:36 pm

His eyes redirected toward the distance quickly with the faintest, uneasy smirk when Alfred's stare fell on him. It was funny, it was true, and it was impossible to tell if Irilyss caught the point which made it all the better in the psychic's mind. His inquiry, on the other hand, went unreplied. There was no answer, Irilyss was a nutcase he stumbled upon, not that he regret it. She was entertaining in a proper light.
Anues' attention came back into focus as he caught Alfred's gesture out of the corner of his eye. As for the envelope, the Gardevoir took it as quickly as it was exposed to the open and stood in the same motion without interrupting the duo. He teleported without so much as a word of farewell. It was easier to reassure the female that they'd meet again that way-- when he had the energy for her, at least. His thanks went unspoken. Besides, he wasn't big on goodbyes.

Irilyss

The female ignored the varied exchanges between her two companions, having no desire to involve herself in their affairs. She felt a slight twinge of something however--something that she quickly cut off at its roots before it could grow into anything more: Irilyss had long since found emotions to be more trouble than they were worth. "Hm, perhaps sometimes," she murmured as the missive was passed between her two companions, "And other times not." It was, perhaps, the closest thing to a compliment the female had ever given Anues. The next moment he was gone, and she was alone with his other half and the shadow he'd left behind.

She felt Alfred's eyes on her and shifted her gaze to meet his, eyes tinged with the color of mild interest. It appeared he wouldn't indulge her request either for a long moment, and the Gardevoir considered whether it was worth her time to engage him again or not; just because he held a place in her universe didn't mean he was worthy of her concern. Many weren't. But she allowed him his time, content to watch him for a time and observe the way his breath disturbed the wind as it brushed past. When he smiled, she focused on his eyes again, watching him settle on an answer more than listening to it. "Indeed..." she replied, turning her eyes to the newly-christened cloud and seeing how the name would settle. She watched it a moment longer before her expression slowly shifted, allowing a half-smile of her own to settle in. "A noble name for a cloud it would seem."

She turned to the other male, directing her full attention to him at last, and regarded him with distant intrigue. "It's not just for their benefit you know. A name becomes a truth that even mortals can create." She leaned back, resting her head lightly against the bench behind her. "Tell me Alfred, what is it you wish to create in this world?" The next didn't matter, the previous she already knew; the present was where she was now, so it was where her questions were necessarily contained. In the end it was a matter of circumstance, as were all things when viewed from a distance.

After a time it became clear that her companion either didn't intend to answer her or didn't have an answer, and Irilyss smiled wryly at him, rising to her feet in a fluid motion. "Well, perhaps you should think on such matters," she said lightly, "I look forward to hearing what you decide. Or perhaps seeing it instead." Stepping forward, the female Gardevoir offered a curtsy to Alfred, eyes dancing with the promise of secrets to be learned and told. "I do hope we'll meet again. It's been delightful." A gentle laugh escaped her lips as she turned her gaze heavenward one last time. "Give my regards to any clouds you christen in my absence." And with that she was gone, her Teleport unaccompanied by any sort of sound to serve as a farewell.

Robin
Tobias & Balerd

It was a wonderful day out. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and Tobias was out for a walk with his most precious of things. The little harness that had been tied around his waist was somewhat crude in its construction but steady and reliable in its function. On his back atop the surface sat Balerd, a curious and very young Hawlucha who had only recently hatched.

Why were the two outside? Well, that was simple. Balerd needed to experience sunlight and places outside of the team room so Tobias had taken his wonderful little charge outside for that very reason. It was no more complicated than that. It was pure, simplistic and basic, very much like the happy moods that the two were so obviously in.

Neo & Nyx & Eliot & Clara

"Explain to me again why my presence is needed here?" The Vulpix said, his mood dark as he padded along beside his partner, in stark contrast to the beauty of the day. Nyx had no desire to be out on a stroll to entertain their infants, but he wasn't one to refuse a request from Neo, particularly when the Meowstic continued to press the matter. So here he was, wandering in a park on this spitefully glorious day, accompanied by the little creatures that his partner had taken such a shine to.

"I told you, I don't want to take them out on my own just yet," Neo said cheerfully, ignoring the sullenness of his partner's tone. The Meowstic was thrilled to be taking Eliot and Clara outside for the first time, and the perfect weather did nothing but add to his pleasure. He'd even persuaded Nyx to come along at long last, to spend some time together with him and the children; the Vulpix had been difficult to pin down since the pair had hatched, and Neo planned on changing that whatever it took. He liked Nyx as much as he liked the children, and he planned on making peace between the two groups so that all of them could function as a Team and a family--nothing less would do. This was the first step. If this outing went well, then he could move forward to the next one; if it didn't, he would wait a while and try again. Whatever the case, Neo had no intention of stopping. "Besides, it's difficult for me to keep an eye on both of them even back home; having an extra set of eyes makes me feel more comfortable since we're in a bigger space."

Nyx sighed, glancing over at the children disinterestedly. Clara had her stringy arms wrapped tightly around Eliot's tail, and the Growlithe was prancing about delightedly, though he didn't seem willing to stray too far from Neo just yet. Both children were staring in wonder at the sights around them, wide-eyed with amazement at anything they laid eyes on. The Vulpix sighed, unmoved by their innocence; he preferred to deal with rational beings rather than ones who had hardly started developing. "Air would have served that purpose as well as I," he said dryly, his nine tails flicking in annoyance.

"Air did us both a huge favor by attending the Guild's dig the other day," Neo retorted brightly, "Besides, he hasn't had the chance to get much further in his reading since Eliot and Clara hatched. He deserves a bit of peace and quiet as much as anyone." A sigh from his partner brought a frown to the Meowstic's face and he paused his walk to place a paw on his partner's shoulder. "Look Nyx... It really means a lot to me that you're doing this, and it means the world to them too. Just...Try to enjoy it whatever way can alright? I don't want to make you miserable, but I need your support here."

The Vulpix looked up at his partner warily, turning his head when he saw the honesty in Neo's eyes. Situations like this made him wonder if the Meowstic had any idea just what sort of position he was putting him in when he said such things. "I do support you," Nyx said tiredly, still looking down, "I just don't understand children. They confound me."

"Maybe you're thinking about it too much," Neo offered, "The most important thing with kids is to make certain their safe and happy, and that you teach them what they need to know as they grow up." Turning to look at Eliot and Clara with pride, the Meowstic found them gone, and instantly sprung up to attention, "Oh Arceus, where did they go?" He looked around worriedly for a long moment before his eyes settled on the sight just in front of him on the path. Oh, thank goodness.

Eliot had been planning on staying beside Daddy, like he was asked to, he really was, but a strange smell had caught his attention. There were others here, others who had smells he didn't recognize, and it was so enticing he didn't know what else to do. He'd whined at Daddy to get his attention, but the Meowstic was too busy talking to Nyx to notice, so Eliot had finally taken matters into his own paws when the strangers rounded the path in front of them. Tail wagging furiously (which caused Clara to giggle from the heady sensation of swaying it caused), he bounded forward to meet the other Pokemon, barking in greeting. They weren't too far that Daddy and Nyx couldn't see them, so it was probably alright. The Growlithe sniffed the air around the strange pair curiously, finding that they didn't smell like any of the three Pokemon he'd been exposed to before. Who were these strangers that didn't share his Team's scent? He wanted to know.

Robin
Tobias & Balerd

"Oh my." Tobias came to a very sudden stop as the children suddenly stopped in front of him. A little Growlithe and a wonderful little Drifloon... Ah, how sublime. Fortunately for Clara, Tobias had the good sense at least to not attempt to kidnap a child that was already no doubt claimed, especially not in front of his own. That would just be terribly traumatic and he had no intent of inflicting such a wound upon little Balerd. No, no, Balerd was far too precious for such gross and unnecessary trauma. "Good morning little ones."

Balerd 's reaction, however, was a good mirror of what Tobias's would have been were it not for the burden of such things as responsibility. The little Hawlucha chirped happily in response to Eliot's bark and then proceeded to stumble off of the harness. It wasn't a complicated affair, given that the harness consisted mostly of a slightly shaped seat and two little stirrups to help make sure the precious occupant did not fall, but it was certainly an awkward affair. Balerd wiggled aggressively in order to get out but in short order managed to accomplish falling out at the same time, not that it seemed to be a bother. Rather than being injured, upset or any such thing, Balerd simply curled into a ball on impact and then rolled over to where Eliot was. Having completed the short journey, the oddly round little bird simply unfurled and stood up beside Eliot to stare intently at Clara, a fact that was punctuated by another happy chirp.

Neo & Nyx & Eliot & Clara

Eliot barked again in response to the long Pokemon's greeting, tail continuing to wag as he stared up into the unfamiliar blue eyes; the puppy was half his species usual size since he'd just been born recently, so even the Linoone stood above him. He liked that the stranger sounded happy to see him, and that the smaller stranger on the bigger one's back also seemed happy. It made a different sound than he did, but Eliot understood it in the way that infants understand one another's non-verbal cues, and yipped back a cheerful hello. He watched with wide eyes when the bird curled into a ball and rolled over to him, extending a paw as he thought to bat at the Hawlucha, but stopping himself quickly when the other Pokemon switched back to its normal shape. He seemed really interested in Clara for some reason, and wouldn't stop staring at her, so Eliot figured he'd help things along by lowering his tail to bring his sister closer. The girl bobbed quietly up and down in greeting, not making a sound as she looked from the Hawlucha to his Linoone guardian. She wasn't sure what to make of them just yet; she'd feel more confident about the whole thing once Daddy got here.

As if on cue with the child's wishes, Neo and Nyx arrived moments later, the latter trailing behind since he chose to walk, rather than matching his partner's brisk pace. "Ah, hello there," the Meowstic said, with a casual nod to the Linoone who his children had approached. Crouching down to eye level with Eliot, who quickly turned to greet him, Neo shook his head with a sigh. "Eliot you know better than to run off like that," he chided the boy gently, "You and Clara shouldn't go so far away from Daddy, alright? It makes me nervous." The child barked in agreement, licking Neo's paw affectionately, then turned back to back at the pair of strangers, tail wagging again. The Meowstic laughed, at the Growlithe's enthusiasm. "Yes, I see you made some friends. We should introduce ourselves." Straightening up, Neo smiled at the Linoone cheerfully. "Thanks for looking out for them for a second. I'm Neo, and these two are Clara and Eliot." Glancing over at Nyx, who'd finally arrived at his side, he added: "And this is Nyx, my partner." He didn't recognize either of the two, though he vaguely recalled being run into by a Linoone during the Guild's first gathering; the Meowstic hardly assumed anything about it though, since he'd been incapacitated shortly afterwards and didn't recognize the Normal Type as a part of the reason for said incapacitation. As far as Neo was concerned this could be an entirely different Pokemon from the one he'd briefly encountered back then.

The Vulpix gave the slightest of nods when he was introduced but made no comment of his own, looking briefly at the Linoone and then at the Hawlucha who stood near Eliot. He recognized the Normal Type from the meet and greet on their first day, and was none too pleased to encounter him again; the fact that he was accompanied by a third child did nothing more than add to his ever-darkening mood. Coming along on this little venture may have been the worst request Neo had ever asked of him. That being said, for the Meowstic's sake he put on a polite enough expression and suppressed his discontent. The Linoone was fortunate his partner and the children there however, since Nyx would never have been so civil towards him otherwise; considering the damage the Normal Type had done to his partner back then, the Vulpix was being incredibly generous with his actions.
