Grass field: The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustles the flat grassland arena that has replaced the default stage. Small clouds of harmless pollen fly through the air from the breeze. The land is completely flat, making maneuverability easy to those build to walk on land. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GRASS and BUG type attacks

Alexa walked into the stadium and released Hulda. She signaled her to take the field which was the grassy one. It was a nice field to be on but it was possible that the grass would be burnt from any fire attacks. Such a shame but it must not be too bad to fix since it always looked like new when this field came up.

Yin moved up towards the stadium, his pokemon already out beside him. He seemed to be giving the other a pep talk before the big rumble. Yin smiled softly as he looked out onto the field, seeming to be admiring the view, as well as examining the opponent.
He then turned to look at Enkou, titling his head towards the field to motion for the pokemon to move forward which is exactly what Enkou did. The pokemon moved forward until he was but a few feet across from his opposing pokemon, getting into it's battle stance. He was ready for this match to begin.

As soon as both trainers were ready, Yin called out his first attack. " Sand Attack!"
Enkou rushed forward, then kicked the ground, launching sand at the opponent's face.

Alexa didn't really get a chance to be friendly with the other trainer as the battle started immediately. She waited for Hulda's eyes to clear from the sand attack and gave the signal for Dig.
Hulda saw the much bigger pokemon and wasn't able to avoid the sand aimed at her face. She shook her head to clear the sand away. She caught the signal for her attack. With a determined look she began to dig down. She didn't have far to go before she was erupting from the ground to attack.

Combusken was knocked back a few feet, but with no new command from his trainer, he decided to continue his pursuit with sand attack, launching more sand at his opponents eyes.
