The door leading up to Team Moonlighter's room exudes a menacing aura, as if daring anyone to enter without permission. The wood is painted pitch black with an electric yellow frame bordering it. On the entry is painted a dripping skull and crossbones in the same bright color as the frame. Besides that, a crude door sign hangs from the handle that reads 'Knock or Die'....
Maybe you should knock? [Image coming soon!]

The room wasn't anything special despite its massive size. It was actually quite plain at the moment. Black curtains hung from the windows along the white walls, and the only two things on the mahogany brown hardwood floor were two circular, naked mattresses shoved in opposite corners. A door for a closet was on the left side of the room, and a door for a full bath was on the right. The luxio who owned this room would have been glad to have quarters all to himself, but unfortunately there were two beds for a reason.
Cimm glared at the shiny pokemon before him. She was small, wide eyed, and expectant looking. Not to mention young. At fourteen he was barely out of childhood, and being a teenager wasn't that much different from being a kid. So he was quite skeptical as to the aron's qualifications. Besides that, his first impressions back at the assignment desk weren't very good. She was a loudmouthed, ignorant, selfish girl who didn't know what she was getting into.
“Listen,” He had been silently watching the steel pokemon look around the simple room they would call home in wonder, so when he spoke it caught the aron's attention immediately, “Nuna, was it?”
“Yup!” She answered so cheerfully that Cimm actually cringed. Her expectant blue eyes met his yellow unimpressed ones.
“We need to set some boundaries if we're going to be living together,” He started as he held his ears forwards and puffed out his chest in what he hoped looked to be an authoritative manner. Nuna tilted her wide head to the side and blinked blankly at him. He resisted the urge to roll his eyes, “The physical restrictions are; No touching, no coming onto my side of the room, and no pranks.”
“Pranks?” The angle at which the aron's head was tilted deepened in confusion. Cimm sighed and let his eyes do flips this time.
“If you don't know, then I won't explain,” He huffed before regaining his thoughts to try to bring the conversation around to its main point again, “Other restrictions will be in regards to my business. If you don't pester me about useless things that don't concern you, I won't pester you.” Not that he was interested in anything about Nuna anyways. As long as she could do her job, he would be fine with never talking to her.
“So mind my own, eh?” She echoed thoughtfully with a small smirk on her features. The shiny noggin bobbled up and down, “I can do that. It makes things a whole lot easier when you don't care!”
“Whatever.” Cimm immediately responded, not willing to dig any deeper into this conversation. He head to his round bed on the right, jumping up on it and circling around a couple times before settling down to observe his new roommate. She was still looking at him, and he sent a scowl her way, “Add 'no staring' onto the list.”
That got an obnoxious giggle from the aron, and Cimm wondered if this partnership would really last.

Cimm came into his room after a trip to the infirmary to cure his paralysis. It felt indescribably good to have full control over his limbs again. As the door shut behind him be stretched forwards, extending the toes on his front paws and craning his neck into the air. As he shifted his weight forwards to stretch out the muscles in his back legs, Cimm realized that a chilling sensation had begun creeping down his spine. Some instinct in the forefront of his mind told him he was being watched. Immediately on high alert, the lion straightened up and whipped his head to the left, looking up to where he felt the presence.
His yellow orbs widened when they fell upon a shadowy, writhing mass stuck to the upper corner where two walls and the ceiling met. Just looking at the ominous squirming darkness made his stomach do flips.
"S-sorry sir, did I frighten you?" A strangely hollow voice drifted from the shadowy form as two eyes and a large, frowning mouth materialized. Cimm's fur would have been all over the place if he hadn't been forcing it to stay still. It took him a moment to realize that the round purple face emerging from the darkness in the corner belonged to his new team member.
"Damnit, Mana!" He grumbled as he struggled with the fight or flight instincts trying to take over, "No, you didn't 'frighten' me, I just wasn't expecting you to be so creepy! What is that thing!" He tried defending as he motioned with his head to the tangle of shadows behind the fully formed and floating gastly.
"This is my nest. I-I could take it down if you'd like." It mentioned in that truly androgynous voice. Cimm huffed and shook his head.
"No it's fine. As long as you don't take up room down here, I'll get used to it." He mentioned, watching the hovering form nod in understanding. A still silence fell upon the room that allowed the unsettling presence of the ghost to enter into his system once again. He suppressed a shiver as he looked for a way to distract himself from it, "Have you seen Nuna?"
"Not since we went t-to the office," Mana explained ever nervously. Its voice was so odd and misplaced that it had Cimm tilting his head in confusion.
"That's good." He mentioned absently as he tried to analyze the ghoul's voice in his head. It was almost distant sounding, as if someone was speaking to him at the end of a tunnel, yet he could hear perfectly. That bothered him, as well as how ambiguous the tone was, "Hey, are you a girl or guy?"
"W-what, sir?" Mana seemed surprised at this question. Cimm didn't feel like repeating himself, so he only narrowed his eyes and waited for an answer. The nervous pokemon picked up on the situation quickly and went on, "Well, neither, sir. I can't remember my past life, so I'm not to sure myself."
Cimm scowled deeply as he waved his tail dismissively. He wasn't one to be so nosy usually, but he hadn't expected the answer to his question to involve something so deep. His frown never faded as he gazed in irritation at Mana, "You're an 'it', then? Not a 'he' or 'she'?" The ghost slowly nodded, "Alright, that's all I was wondering." He then turned on his heel and head to his bed in the corner directly diagonal to Mana's claimed corner.
He hopped up onto the double stacked mattresses, one of which he had stolen from Nuna, and circled around the round bed a few times. He plucked as the cushion a few time with his claws before settling down with his paws tucked neatly under him. Cimm let his eyes wander over to the darkened, foreboding corner he was standing in before, finding that Mana had retreated to its den. He closed his eyes contentedly, ignoring the chilling presence and glad that he only had one truly obnoxious roommate.

Kennick begrudgingly followed his new 'leader' into the Team's room. Looking about, he saw nothing spectacular about it besides the multitude of space. The room was so large that it could easily sleep six if three beds were placed on each side of the room. The thought of living with this luxio for an undetermined amount of time caused anxiety to spring up in the depths of his being.
"Why did you have to pick me? Did I not make it clear enough to you that I didn't actually want to join?" He spat out finally, having held in the words since Cimmerian's decision. The luxio turned and held a narrow glare towards him. Kinnick returned the glare, but as he did the feline smirked. The Shelgon felt a sudden dread creep over him.
"But you have so many things to learn, p***k." The deep tone of the Team leader made Kennick's dread deepen. He had overheard his grumbling earlier. The dragon cursed himself for not remembering the acute hearing all felines had.
"If the Old One says it, then perhaps I do. But I absolutely cannot fathom what I could possibly learn from an obviously deceitful, disrespectful imbecile such as yourself." He stated the opinion clearly and bluntly, hoping to throw off Cimmerian by his insults. A fake burst of laughter was the unexpected rely, though.
"Oh, I can see what you're missing. Are you such a little p***k that you can't see it?" Kennick was stunned at this question. Him, missing something? It seemed to him more and more that the Luxio had more than just a few screws loose. Before he could say this, however, Cimmerian went on with an amused sigh, "Oh, the fun I'll have messing with you."
"Shut it, cat." The dragon snapped as the leader scoffed and walked back past him to head out the still open door. "And just where are you going?"
"Out. Nuna and Mana will be back soon with the papers, so just stay here Mr. p***k." The cat answered over his shoulder. Kennick remembered the gastly and aron from earlier, but couldn't say he'd get along with either of them very well.
"Your life must be a wreck, Cimmerian." Kennick absently scoffed, referring to the Treasure Hunter's recruited team members. The statement unexpectedly made the feline freeze before he could leave completely. A harsh, rather unexpected glare met him as the Luxio looked over his shoulder.
"Don't call me that. It's Cimm." He hissed angrily before flipping his head back around and continuing on his way. Kennick blinked once before he could even try to comprehend why that of all things had set him off. One thing was for sure, though.
He was never calling that cat Cimm.

Mana had never felt so awkward in her life. The ghost floated low to the wood flooring of her team's plain room, quietly trying not to be rude to the dragon sitting opposite to it, legs tucked beneath his body as he glared out the window without a word. There was a thick, stern wall around the Shelgon that Mana could sense so clearly that it may as well have been made of brick and mortar. The ghost averted its gaze to the floor.
A set of documents sat in between them. They were stacked haphazardly on each other, some of the papers set off to the side to be signed or filled out. Kennick had rifled through all of them when Mana had delivered them.
Seeing as neither of them had the means to sign or write in anything, they had to wait for Cimmerian to come back. It had been a very awkward realization. Very few words had been exchanged between them, and what little were was all business. So now Mana had been hovering near the new recruit for about thirty minutes trying to decide whether to stay or retire to its shadowy nest in the corner.
"E-exuse me, Mr. Kennick." Mana hesitantly spoke, wanting to know desperately whether he preferred to be alone or not. The Shelgon snapped his attention to the ghost, causing it to gulp slightly. "I hope I'm not bothering you with my presence."
"Of course not. Why would you think that?" The genuine air of confusion surprised Mana a bit. The spirit had thought for sure that Kennick was holding ill will towards all the team members, including itself.
"I'm sorry, you've just been so quiet that I thought you may be angry with me." Mana admitted. The dragon huffed and may have shook his head, but one really couldn't tell with the Shelgon's full body casing.
"No, I should be apologizing. I did not mean to make you uncomfortable. Besides, you haven't done anything to make me angry. Unlike that repugnant leader of yours... Ours." The tone towards the end of his statement was quite harsh. Obviously Cimm had not made a very good first impression. Mana would know, as it had been there to witness that impression.
"I know he can be a bit... Rude, at times. But he does have some good qualities." Mana wasn't defending Cimm or his actions really, and the ghostly Pokémon's tone was submissive enough to get that across to Kennick apparently. Instead of shooting back a retort like he had when conversing with Cimmerian he simply huffed in disbelief.
"Yeah, well then enlighten me on at least one, please. Because right now I'm not sure I'd believe it even if I saw it." He grumbled in a non threatening manner. Mana actually had its mouth open and ready to answer when the door suddenly slammed open. Both Pokémon threw their gazes at the entrance, seeing immediately a smug looking Nuna. With some added attachments.
"You're never going to believe what just happened to me." The little aron with the odd forehead bling bragged. Neither Mana nor Kennick asked what had happened, for it was obvious that Nuna was going to tell them regardless. "I went to the well, and it gave me shiny money and a magnet!" The excitement level was at an all time high for the dual type.
"Is that what's on your forehead?" Kennick asked dully, as if he really didn't care about this news at all. Nuna didn't seem to mind the tone.
"Yup! It stuck to me when it was thrown up by the well." Nuna shook her head from side to side to make the load of gold coins jingle. Mana hummed thoughtfully as she recalled the rumor about the well.
"Don't you have to throw something into the well to get something out of it?"
Nuna froze up and the joyous look in her eyes died down a considerable amount. "That's another thing. We can't tell Cimm about this."
"Tell me what?" The familiar deep warning tone rolled off a wary looking Cimm as he stepped into the room through the door that had been carelessly left agape. Nuna spun around so quickly that a few coins were jolted from their magnetized position. One rolled on its side across the floor, heading straight for the Luxio. When it came into range the feline stomped on the moving monetary piece and moved his paw to look at it. A flash of something akin to worry briefly crossed the leader's features before accusation filled his yellow eyes.
"Nuna, where did this... What the hell is on your forehead?" Cimmerian interrupted himself, and Mana's eyes flickered between the captain and co-captain. Nuna was looking everywhere but at the cat.
"A magnet."
"From where?"
"The well."
"Uh-huh. And what exactly did you toss in to get that? Something that belongs to you personally and not the Team, right?" Throughout the conversation Cimm had been stepping towards the Aron, and Nuna had nervously been stepping back. Mana found this quite curious because Nuna was usually biting back and defending herself during times like these. "Nuna...!" Cimm warned lowly, his eyes becoming those dangerously narrow slits that always made Mana uncomfortable to look at.
"Well, you see... There were these two TMs just sitting under your mattresses, and they weren't doing anything except sitting there looking ugly, so I... Y'know? Traded.... them?"
For a few long moments no one said anything. All eyes were on Cimm, who's left eye was a bit twitchy. He looked like he'd just had a hair on the tuft of his tail just yanked out. There was an unsteady inhale followed by a long exhale.
"Nuna. Do you see this here?" The cat turned to the side, motioning towards a brown leather belt around his waist that held two holding compartments on each side. Mana hadn't noticed it until now, and apparently neither had Nuna.
"Yes, what is it?"
"Mine." Cimm shot back instantly. Nuna's eyes finally narrowed in the usual defiant glare Mana had become used to seeing, "I bought it with my own money. Therefore, it belongs exclusively to me. Now tell me, were those TMs yours, or the Team's?"
"Just get to the point!" Nuna snapped, obviously disliking the drawn out tone Cimm was using, as if talking to a young child. Cimm huffed and flicked his tail in irritation.
"They're the Team's, Nuna. So I hope you're not expecting to keep all those coins, or even the magnet." Was all the feline cared to explain. Nuna made a grunt of disbelieving dissatisfaction as the Luxio moved quicker than lightning to snatch the item littered with money from the metal head of the Aron.
"Hey! That's not fair! I'm the one who got that stuff!" Nuna protested as she followed Cimmerian to his cot where he had already begun to tuck the goods between his mattresses.
"Shut up, Nuna! I bet you didn't even get those papers! Mana did all the work, right?"
"W-what does that have to do with anything?"
"Everything! Its just like the time you went and took a nap in the middle of the last mission!"
"Why are you so stuck on that? You haven't even heard me out on-"
Mana was paying attention to the argument until a subtle snort from Kennick drew its attention. The dragon was looking at the two bickering Pokémon with a look of amusement in his eyes.
"I see now that you're the only sane one in the group." The Shelgon spoke in a tone that disapproved of both of the leaders of the team. The ghost had no reply to this, and took the statement as a compliment. Its eyes fell back to the arguing pair before sighing inwardly. Mana drew its mouth into a hard line and wondered if this Team would ever function normally.

In his search for someone to fight, Demon inevitably came upon Team Moonlighter's room and spotted the sign. The battle-scarred Sandslash stared curiously at the sign a moment; then, due to his difficulties with the word-scratch-things, he turned to Nightmare, silently asking for a translation. Nightmare shook his head in amusement. "It says 'Knock or Die'," he translated. "Oh." Demon considered this a moment, then promptly took it as a challenge, opening the door and heading in without a care in the world.

"What in the name of Acreus....!" Kennick practically popped into the air at the sudden intrusion as the door came open without warning and a Sandslash with red quills waltzed in like he owned the place. The dragon took a defensive stance and narrowed his dull yellow eyes at the Pokémon, focusing more on it than the oddly colored, slightly intimidating looking Ponyta behind it in the hall. "Who do you think you-"
"Visitors!" Nuna practically screeched her interruption as she burst out of her hay pile that she had been dozing in. Kennick's eyes were wide as he stared at the Aron who acted as if she had no qualms with the intruders at all. "Hey, hey! Who are you? I'm Nuna!" She was rambling, not having been allowed to talk at all the day before when Cimm had been around had really wound her up. Kennick wasn't a good conversationalist and she was dying to run her mouth to someone.
"What do you mean 'Who are you'? They just broke in! Don't you think you should be-"
"Oh, shut up, Kennick!" Nuna cheerily stated as she went up to the savage looking Sandslash without batting an eye, "Ignore him! Who. Are. You?"

(No, I saw. Was just busy for a few there. sweatdrop )
Demon was vaguely disappointed when nothing tried to jump out and kill him, but that was quickly forgotten when a small Rock-thing jumped in front of him and started chattering away at him. He did notice the Dragon-thing shouting off to the side, but he ignored that for the moment. "Demon is Demon. What you?" He vaguely recalled seeing something like her pass through the desert once, but it had been on two legs and a lot bigger. Nightmare shook his head as he followed his partner in. "Demon, I don't think that sign was meant as a challenge," he noted wryly, discreetly glancing over at the Shelgon in the corner; noting that he didn't seem likely to do much more than yell, he focused on the chatty little Aron. "Hello there. I'm Nightmare, co-leader of Team Savage with Demon here. A pleasure to meet you."

"I'm an Aron! The best, most beautiful-est Pokémon in the world." Nuna proclaimed proudly, shifting slightly to purposefully make her polished armor glint in the ight available. Her eyes flicked curiously over Demon, shifting to Nightmare as he spoke, "I'mma co-captain too! But not to this windbag here. But he's not much better than our actual leader!" She laughed in regards to Kennick. The dragon let out a deep growl that she ignored quite promptly. She was bored and wasn't about to let anyone spoil her fun. "So what's this about a 'challenge' and the sign?"
Menahwhile, the Shegon who felt as if he were being severely looked down on continued his guttural growl. If he had fur he'd be bristling. These punks weren't showing him any respect! Though he knew better than to jump and attack another Guild member, if they proved to be more aggressive than they clearly were (at least, than the Sandslash. The Ponyta hadn't really done anything except give him a slight look.), he'd have no qualms in forcing them out. "Acting all polite when you just broke in? 'Pleased to meet you'? Sure, yeah. Whatever. Though I would expect the first words you should be saying are ones of an apology!" He snapped angrily towards the Ponyta, but keeping his eyes on Demon since he seemed to be more of a problem.

Demon blinked, tilting his head slightly as he examined the Aron-thing in question. Well, he supposed she was a little cute, but that bit about being the most beautiful wasn't very likely; he nodded in greeting anyway. Upon hearing the Dragon-thing snap at them, though, his head immediately swerved to stare unblinkingly at him, the eager gleam in his eye carrying a silent challenge: By all means, make my day. I was getting bored anyway. Back in the desert, Demon was an apex predator - the only part of that statement that had changed was the venue.
Nightmare was about to answer the Aron when her friend jumped into the conversation. He gave a fanged grin, not intimidated in the slightest as he gave a mild reply. "Demon was the one to 'break in'; I just followed him in for the entertainment value." And the tone of his voice indicated he was very entertained indeed. That aside, he turned back to the chatty little Rock-type, answering her question. "Demon here is... a bit of a battle monger, to put it lightly. When he spotted that sign on your door saying 'knock or die', my guess is he was hoping for something to try and kill him as soon as he stepped in the door," he noted wryly. Of course, from the way that Shelgon was acting, Demon might just get that fight he wanted anyway.

Nuna perked up at Nightmare's explanation. Oddly enough the fangs on the pony didn't bother her. Or, more like, she hadn't really met many Ponyta, so for all she knew it was normal for the species to have razor sharp teeth. She looked with wide blue eyes between the ground type and dragon type. Kennick was glaring hard at the Sandslash, who was staring right back with an air of eagerness about him. Nuna smiled behind her plated mask, eyes squinting with the gesture. "Oh! You should totally duke it out!" Kennick's yellow gaze didn't move from the quilled Pokemon as he replied.
"don't be ridiculous!" He grumbled, noting every scar on the obviously battle worn body of the ground type in front of him. He supposed Demon was his name for some reason, and honestly, the Dragon wasn't sure he'd want to find out what that reason was. Not that he'd ever admit that. "You weren't invited, so leave."
"Don't be such a wuss! Here, I know!" She whined, then perked again as she romped over to the far right corner of the room to search between Cimm's mattresses. She pulled out a device with her teeth and pranced back over to Kennick, laying the object down in front of him. His eyes flicked to it briefly.
"Cimmerian will probably die of an aneurism if I use that TM." he informed her in deadpan, but she only blew a raspberry in reply.
"Since when are you concerned about him?" her tone was a bit teasing, but it didn't get much out of the dragon other than a contemptuous snort. She huffed and turned to Demon, "If you want a challenge, you should probably make the first move." she informed him slyly. Maybe she wouldn't be so bored today after all.

Demon tilted his head slightly as he considered the idea. Certainly, the Dragon-thing seemed like a fun opponent. After a few more moments of thought he nodded to himself and lashed out with a Crush Claw meant to test the hardness of the Shelgon's shell.
Nightmare watched in amused bemusement, the Ponyta hoping they'd at least move it outside before it got too serious.

Kennick had meant to dodge the attack entirely, but with Nuna's slight betrayal distracting him just a bit, the attack glanced off his shell. He wasn't the fastest Pokémon in the first place due to the casing covering most of his body. But since it hadn't been a direct hit, all he felt was a tingling sensation of pain. His already narrowed eyes went into slits as he rounded on the Sandslash furiously.
"Impudence!" He growled menacingly as his foot smacked against the TM still lying on the floor and sent it skittering across the room. A burning sensation filled him as he released a strong stream of embers at the ground-type.
"Too bad we don't have any popcorn!" Nuna was laughing as she moved quickly to the sidelines after scooping up the TM again, standing next to Nightmare. She looked up at the Ponyta wickedly. "Wanna bet on who wins this?" Though she knew not of Kennick or Demon's true strength, she was always looking for an opportunity to win some shiny things.

Years of battle training kicked in, and Demon instinctively met the flames with a particularly thick Sand-Attack made to smother them and (hopefully) blind the Shelgon. He then vanished in a burst of speed, reappearing behind Kennick and lashing out at the Dragon-type's legs with another Crush Claw, this one blunted so that it would knock the Shelgon over instead. His reasoning was simple: he may not have fought this particular Pokémon, but he'd fought four-legged Pokémon covered in round shells... and when those Pokémon fell on their back, they'd had a lot of difficulty getting back up again before he could finish them off.
Nightmare chuckled good-naturedly. "An interesting proposal," he noted with a grin, "but I doubt your co-captain would approve of you losing your team's money."

Unlike the ground type, Kennick didn't have a whole lot of combat experience. His flames died out as the Sandslash used his type advantage to call forth some dirt over them. The dragon was grateful for his protective casing aound his face, as it seemed to keep most of the dust out of his eyes. But a bit got in and irritated his tender orbs just enough to distract him as the unexpectedly speedy hedgehog disappeared from in front of him. Suddenly Kennick found his legs being scooped out from under him.
While he may not have had a lot of battle experience, he'd had plenty of training in his years at the Dragon's Den with his mentor. Long enough, at least, to know how to overcome the disadvantage of having a round shell covering his whole body. Instead of merely flipping over, the dragon kept his momentum up as he fell sideways so that he rolled completely over and was able to stand. His back leg ached from where it had been hit, hurting a greater amount when he put pressure on it. Kennick threw away all of the nasty phrases and words he was thinking in favor of growling like a feral.
Having had enough already, the dragon conjured up his special move, breathing in deeply and quickly before releasing a whole ton of water that held a great amount of force behind it towards the Sandslash.
"He aint the co-captain, I am! And I never said I'd bet on my own team member!" Nuna laughed again, watching in amusement as Kennick rolled over and started growling angrily, a limp obvious in his step already from where he'd been hit. Then, suddenly Nuna felt like she should be stepping sideways or away."Uh-oh, don't tell me that he's gonna-" Her thought was interrupted as the dragon released a Hydro Pump full of water from his face hole. If she wasn't nervous about the water, she would have found the image really funny.
