Irrohna sat just outside of Jatine in the sand sifting through it with her hands. The sand was starting to cool as it was now that time of half light and half darkness, the point at which the sun's power was weakening and her skin did not need to be covered to avoid its searing powers of redness, itching and flaking. It was a pity, she liked the light, it helped improve her mood, made her feel like less of a nocturnal beastie, plus colors were so muted at night that it greatly detracted from the vibrancy of the city. Alas during the day she had to scuttle along under layers of cream and clothing least she be seared into leafling dust. Jatine was most attractive to her because of the multiple water features and she was reluctant to leave the city for that reason. Days in the searing desert with drinking water preserved for that purpose alone or nights soaking in a large pool of blissfully cool water..well it wasn't much of a choice for her really. She smiled.

Although Eleina had grown up and lived most of her life in the outskirts of Awat, now that she had the ability to travel she was finding that Jatine was her favorite town. There was water everywhere and all kind of people to talk to. There were people of multiple backgrounds like her, and many different people from all over Tendaji. It was fascinating.

Today was one of those days where Eleina had finished her daily walk and was scouring the outskirts of the city for lost trinkets or people to talk to as the sun set. As luck would have it she spotted someone to talk to, someone she had never seen before. The girl was different, but Eleina wasn't sure why. She knew that occasionally there were people of her races born with different markings but the woman she saw could also be the result of two different races having a child. She tired to remember if any of the races were that light skinned. With a shrug she headed towards the other girl. Better to just talk to her and find out rather than just wonder.

"Hello there," she said waving towards the girl cheerfully.

Irro turned to see that the call had been meant for her. She didn't think she knew this girl, it wasn't someone from the north. "Yes? Can I help you?" She asked curious. Come to think of it this girl didn't look like all the other Obans either. Fascinating! Irro turned her whole body her attention captured.

Apparently she wasn't the only one to enjoy the sinking of the sun by wandering the perimeter. This one had good taste. Perhaps she could make a new friend? It would be wonderful to have someone else in Oba who wanted to stick around. She wondered if Aseara had suceeded with her dancing.

"If you care to give me some company?" Eleina smiled. She was even prettier up close."Although I enjoy looking for lost trinkets, I think it would much more enjoyable with someone besides me. Plus two sets of eyes are better than one." She shrugged, asking about the pretty woman's skin wasn't her top priority at the moment, she had time to ask. Unless of course the woman didn't want to stay and chat, then she would ask before leaving.

"Trinkets?" Irro's face lit up brightly. "Are you an aspiring Treasure Hunter too? How wonderful! I would love to accompany you and look around. Its a bit hard doing it by one's self." And that was the absolute truth, there was no one to watch her back, even though she greatly enjoyed Oba it hadn't been too long since the war and some people might still choose to hassle her.

"Are you from here? I greatly enjoy Jatine, its my favorite of the Oba cities so far." After she had been opened up she bloomed with babble. She was quite hopeful that this would become a new friend, maybe even eventually a confident. For now though she would be a bit cautious.
