Felicia had her earbuds in, dancing to a ridiculous routine on the fields. Her gauntlets weren't out, yet: she was just in the midst of a warm-up. To get, you know. Limber. Really, it was just an excuse to dance around before lunch. Except, uh. She danced right into some poor, unsuspecting sap, and maybe considered that she should work on her moonwalk in her own room. "Hey!" she shouted, her music audible even from a small distance. Clearly, Felicia had it turned up LOUD. "S-sorry! Didn't see you there, d-dude!"

Matt was lost in his own world with training, the constant counting of how many burpees he had left, to how to speed up his running time to how to strike better with his spear. Until Deus he hadn’t done real serious training or even cared to do any sort of extreme work out but now it had become a daily obstacle he had to complete before shift. It was a stupid hell. Still lost in his own world he didn’t pay attention the dancing hunter until she smacked into him knocking him out of his thoughts. “Hey no it's ok I wasn’t really paying much attention,” he should have however with how loud her music was up.

"Neat!" she yelled, still hopping around, as if sitting still for too long was gonna shut her down entirely. It was the truth, probably. Felicia couldn't remember the last time she'd slept. Felicia beamed brightly, and gestured at her totem, a glowing LED band around her skinny arm. "You wanna g-go?" The question was just as loud as her words had been before. "Like, a s-s-spar, y'know?"

Every time the girl kept bouncing the more and more Matt felt the dire need for a cup of coffee to even keep up to her pace, he even wondered if she ever stood still would she merely vibrate in place like a cellphone. Just watching her made him feel tired as her loud voice continued to jolt him on occasion. Looking at her totem Matt nodded as he pulled out from under his shirt the ornate butterfly necklace. “Sure we can spar, names Matt.” Holding out his hand as if to give some sort of lets have a fair fight handshake. lurks beneath fail same number, Felicia can go first

"Felicia!" she hollered at him, and then she was no longer just a collection of skinny appendages, but a collection of skinny appendages with two gigantic gauntlets attached to the arms, huge and metallic. Each fist was easily double the size of her head, and that was being conservative. Whooping in joy, the Life trainee sloppily slid forward to deliver an uppercut. The oversized gauntlets where a surprise as Matt watched the gangly Felicia deliver a smart uppercut to his jaw hard enough that it felt like his teeth were vibrating in his jaw. He paused a moment to rub the lower part of his jaw as he stretched as if to check that it was still ok to move around before putting a grin on his face of being ok. Summoning a spear, Matt half assed a swing at Felicia’s left side, it was rather sloppy in nature and had little force behind it to do any real damage. “Nice to meet you Felicia.” Hp: 33 Dmg: 2 Charge: 1/3

Felicia let out a hiss of sympathy as Matt gingerly touched where she'd popped him one, wincing and sort of smiling at the same time. "Nuh-nice to meet you too!" She wound her arm back, leaning backwards almost to the point of tipping over in the process. Getting better at landing hits was a lengthy process, and it was 90% luck and 10% skill, and that was a conservative estimate. "B-b-bonzai, M-Matt!" she cried, letting her huge gauntlet swing hard. hp// 38 dmg// 8 charge// 2/3 fear// DT2 x2 remain

Matt never had a problem in chatting to people but he felt some loss on how to actually start a proper conversation with a stranger that didn’t involve him asking where did it hurt and what did you do wrong. It also felt rather awkward to say absolutely nothing and just keep being wailed on. Which was how the spar was going, as she landed a rather cute in theatrics but painful punch straight to the ribs taking what breath he had out of him. Stumbling for a moment Matt tired to catch his breath again before sending a jab towards the female’s shoulder still lacking any sort of real effort. He knew today was a s**t day. “What…. What music were you listening to?” It took him a moment to spit the words out. Hp: 25 Dmg: 3 Charge: 2/3

"Umm.. some Mystery Skulls, the occasional Bastille, Amaranthe, Starset and so on." It only scratched the surface, but even worse it was just a few of the names, at some point he stopped paying attention to band names and had songs he liked. Her return attack hit a soft part of his gut as he rubbed the new bruise not returning any blow in retaliation. Matt had a struggle to not laugh as she started to sing a little of a tune to Blue Jeans, he couldn't say anything it wasn't as if he could sing any better than her. She had more guts than him at least. "What other pop bands do you listen to?" He watched, suspiciously as her gauntlets lit up only to see them fizzle out in the end. There was a little whisper in his head of thank you space for failing. Swinging he only managed to hit her with the tip of spear, not much of a hit at all.
