Yithiron had almost reached the stubborn fruit at the top of the tree, he didn't have to climb so far being so tall, but his height meant that if he fell on his butt as he was oft prone to do then it would hurt that much more. He poked the fruits until a few fell down on the blanket he had laid out. These were not the most tasty of fruit but they were good enough for a snack.
He marched into Yera one of the biggest cities in Tale with his blanket of fruit. They would be his pretense for being around the market..where people had the fattest purses of all. He smirked into the wind that flowed over the Tale with the grace and passion of a lover's hand. He loved that wind, the way it ran its fingers through his shock of hair. Ahh what an absolutely beautiful day, the perfect day for "shopping".
He held his fruit on his back and sidled up to a likely target, a dark skinned leafman with a no nonsense look about him. Yith let the fruit bag brush the other man, using the tactile distraction to shoot a hand out and go for the purse. Sucess, the fat purse settled with a hearty weight in his hand and he tucked it away quick, before calling out to a vendor not far away cliaming the perks of his fresh picked fruit.
He exchanged some of the previously procured fruit for a few different kinds to carry back home. On his way out he sidled up against a lovely ice woman. Unfortunately she was more aware then most and when she felt his hand she wirled and stabed him in the side. Thankfully it only hit muscle but he didn't know that. He grunted and stepped away, she continued on like nothing had happened thinking she might have removed that particular problem for good.
He really needed to practice his arts more. Dad had told him to slouch he should have slouched..too late now.. must get him. He got to the edge of the city then the sight of his own blood got the best of him as shock set it and he crumpled to the ground, a puff of dust announcing his arrival.

It was only her third day out and already Ime was further from home than she had ever been. There were times when she doubted herself, mostly during lonely moments traipsing across the empty terrain, but every wavering will was quickly countered with defiance. This was something she'd felt she had to do, and as frightening as it was it still seemed right. Sure, she wasn't used to putting up at strange inns or trying to hawk her wares to people on the street, but that would all change with time, wouldn't it? Anyway, for the moment she had an end goal. If the war had done anything good it was to bring members of the different races together. Unfortunately, since then new acquaintances had been ripped apart. Kelina had been a far-away friend for quite some time now and they were definitely overdue for a visit. Hopefully some nice conversation would help set her on the proper path.
The young hybrid was walking now with her bag slung over her shoulder, admiring the scenery as she made her way toward the next city. The bigger it was the more people there were, and the more people the more chance she had to help! Prices were still a bit beyond her, but she planned to keep them low while she was just beginning to make a good name for herself. Free sessions were not out of the question.
Barter was really the furthest thing from her mind, though, as she began up the road toward Yera. She saw a tall, broad man stumble out of the crowd and watched with slowly dawning horror as he fell. Blood. There was blood everywhere, coursing from under his hands, smeared across his waist and stomach, where was it coming from? Judging from the man's actions, though, it was probably his. Blood didn't bother her, it never had, but where there was blood there was usually suffering and that didn't sit well with her.
"Oh!" was all she could offer, adjusting her bag and running to his side. Without thinking about potential racial tension or danger at his size, Ime fell to her knees beside him and touched his arm.
"Sir?" Was he even awake? She surveyed his body for damage, spotting a small wound at his side.

Yith rolled his head over after floating back to consciousness at the words. "DEATH COMES FOR ME!" He yelled as loud as he could then he paused. "Oh wait your not the same iceling, nevermind then." He waved an imperially dust covered hand. "But seriously am I dying, does the world spin when you die?" It was spinning now, and he felt rather sick like when he ate those bronze mushrooms that time. "Don't eat those mushrooms..just don't" He babbled while his lifesblood artfully smeared trickled out. Thankfully the blade had not hit an artery and his muscle just sort of gurgled slowly with blood. not that it could be seen since he was face first in the dirt. The world seemed to fall out from under him in a lurching motion and the blackness took over again. He floated back to consciousness to a royally roiling stomach.. he wondered if you could heave on the ground or if you needed gravity. He hoped he wasn't about to find out. "Still here?" he asked the ice girl, he didn't know how long he had been out, could be minutes or hours...days...years. Who knew not him. He picked up a red fruit and offered it to his attendee. "Fruit?"

Such a wide spread of reactions in such a short period of time caused more than a few different reactions in the girl. She startled at his sudden yell and reared back, hands lifting up and spreading in the air as if she'd been told to freeze. If he was crazy she was going to have to make a break for it. A brow quirked at the mention of "icelings" and his question about dying.
"Oh, uh-- woah there!" There was no time to respond properly before she saw his eyes roll up as he fell out of consciousness again. Worry struck, taking over her concern for this man's sanity. She didn't know what happened when you died, but pain or blood loss could certainly make a person feel faint! Her hands rested then on her knees and she went around the other side to inspect the wound. It was a nasty one, but it didn't look like it had struck anything vital. Wait, so had someone stabbed him? Was he some sort of criminal? She asked herself these questions and turned to face him again. Yes, I'm sti--"
Confusion once more. Ime's brow furrowed and she shook her head to clear it. "No, not now," she replied, keeping her voice calm, "You look like you have a bit of a wound, Sir. Do you need help?" It was obviously just a courtesy question as clearly this man needed help, whether it was to get to a familiar healer or some help here on the side of the road. "Can you roll over?" Sitting might not be the be best idea if the world was spinning.

Thorn pinched his thumb and forfinger apart a little bit. "Little bit." He needed a little help yes, maybe a little more then a little. Could he roll over..maybe if he used the otherside as a leaver. He pressed his far hand into the dirt and tensed his leg to create a kind of plainful plank before he made it over onto his back. Well the sky was still blue..no storm clouds to commemorate his passing, how fickle of the weather. He felt like he had been on water too long dipping and swaying with an unseen swell. Ugh. He wanted to curl into a little ball, except he wasn't little and a ball would hurt. "Are you a healer?" He rasped. If he was lucky she was, if he was unlucky she was a bread maker or something. He wondered if flour could stop bleeding. Wow, he did not like this unfocused speculation he seemed so prone to right now. "This is what I get for buying fruit, good thing I wasn't trading for cloth today, might have lost something more then my strength.

At least the man was able to roll over. She could get better access to his wound now and speak to him mot easily, not to mention the ability to see his face if he went for the dark side again.
"I am," she reassured him, offering a little smile. "I'm going to touch you, okay?" She eyed the puncture and touched the skin just beside it. Her hands were soft and gentle in sensation and manner. As she inspected his ailment, he spoke again. Stabbed for buying fruit? Somehow she doubted that. She looked up to him with a raised brow but didn't comment. It wasn't her place to know clients' business.
"It doesn't look so bad," she said softly, but she'd bet it felt pretty bad. She went into her bag for a skin of water and poured it over the man's side, then used a small handkerchief to wipe away the blood. Not too deep, not anywhere fatal. So long as he stopped bleeding he'd be fine.

Thorn made a face when she touched it, compared to the area her hands were chilly. "Not bad? Well thats a relief.' Of course he wasn't about to start dancing for joy no. At least she was amazingly gentle, soft, like flower petals. Hmm. He sighed happily, he felt safe in her hands. Even though he was still prostrate on the dirt. Hopefully not to much dirt had entered the wound he did not fancy a treasure hunt for granules in his own body. Maybe he bled them all out, that was a thought. He hissed and arched his back when she poured the water over it. "Augh! That burns!" He gingerly relaxed back his side stinging in a most recalcitrant way. So much for feeling safe he though mournfully. "Ooh, sorry, It was just unexpected its as bad as a bee sting, something else I'm not entirely fond of." Stinging, burning, stinging, burning.

As he hummed she turned to him and at her first good look felt her cheeks growing hot. He wasn't a bad-looking young man, which might have been a less startling idea if she'd ever been attracted to a patient before. He was unique, she thought. He had more gems than she had ever seen on one body and he was big and strong and fit... alright, alright, back to work.
Ime's distraction had likely been the reason for the sudden pour of water and she apologized quickly.
"I'm sorry, I should have warned you," she said, lips pulling back against her teeth for a moment. At least it hadn't been a stinging salve!
"If you don't mind, I'm going to--um." Touch him. She'd have to touch him to start healing, at least if she planned to use any deep magic. Her brows furrowed. She could do this. Really she could. "Touch you again. Sort of lay my hands over it, if that's alright with you?"

"Very well." He closed his eyes and tried to look calm and serene while he bled. The touch of her hands nearly made his eyes cross under his lids but he strove to prevent it from touching his face. He had worried her with his complaint of the water he would endeavor to do better, since she had been so kind to his poor mangled body. He could feel the magic start and paused to wonder at it in awe. What a fantastical gift she had, how wonderful to be able to aid healing and knit flesh. Could she reatatch arms or toes too? Well that was a bit gruesome he would leave that thought for a different healer. His breath became a little strained but that was the only outward show of pain. See he could control himself..in the absense of la agua that was. "Thank you, I'm of the opinion I wouldn't have made it home without help." He might not yet depending on how much of his strength the wound had sapped and how much of it was still there after her healing. He blinked. "Are your crystals purple? Very pretty.' His own crystals were digging into the ground or at least the pointy ones were, he hoped he wouldnt get stuck that would be embarrassing, stuck to the ground with your own crystals, very suave.

Pressure often caused pain, but Ime tried to set her hand in a sort of cup around the affected area rather than directly against the wound. Her other hand landed atop it feather-soft.
The girl shifted slightly and gave a long sigh through the nose as she began to focus. Her face showed the focus involved with her brow furrowed delicately. Her eyes were focused on her own hands. Magic was definitely a tactile sort of thing. Ime remembered being a little girl and hurting herself only to find her mother's warming hands making it all go away. It was a warmth and a fullness. Some people found it uncomfortable, but Ime found it perfectly pleasant. A gentle glow rose in the cracks between her fingers and even she could feel the magic emerging, permeating flesh, healing. It certainly took focus, something Ime was not entirely in control of at the moment.
Briefly the magic flickered to a dim and back. Words, he was talking to her. Which was more rude, ignoring him to heal him or stopping healing to respond? She wasn't sure and so tried to maintain both. Her eyes glanced at his face, then her own shoulder where her gems were obscured by clothing, and then again to his face. Ime offered him a little smile and once again felt her cheeks growing hot.
"They are. Thank you." For just a moment she sat in silence, centering herself once more. "I'm half-Wind." Actually she had grown up in Sauti, and her mother was Wind and-- she had to learn to not blab to strangers. She was working on it. "What's your name?"
He seemed to be accepting the magic calmly but a little casual conversation never hurt anyone. Besides, she was curious. What kind of name went with that face? She smiled softly to herself, eyes focusing to the side just briefly. She had never felt this sort of rush! It was embarrassing, but rather nice!

"Mmm half wind, I like the wind, but its not the same thing. Oh, oh my name well most people call me Thorn. It suits me no? He nodded at his pointy crystals. "Only my outside is prickly thankfully." He smiled, then blinked. Wow, those were the prettiest green eyes he had ever seen..and he lived in Tale..everyones eyes were green. He sighed and let his head fall back. Warm and fuzzy beat stingy burny every single time. He slowly drifted into a light doze. Kinda there but also kinda asleep. Her light scent seemed to wrap around him. It was quite pleasant, much better then he was used to. Maybe she bathed in flower water.. and then he was really asleep for a bit.

Oh my, this guy was definitely only half-present. Had he lost more blood than she thought? Had he been conked on the head too? He seemed to be dazed, fluttering in and out of consciousness as she healed him. What she could manage magically would knot be a full knit, but enough to stop the bleeding and shallow the wound out a bit. It's still be sore, sure, but that was better than some. When their eyes met, Ime had the odd urge to turn away, but didn't.
Then he was out. Really, truly out. She let the magic work its way into his body for a while more and caught the eye of a few passers-by. "Are you alright?!" one called, not approaching but at least showing concern. Ime turned her head and smiled to the woman.
"We're fine, thank you!" She was. There was no harm in taking on this man alone, and besides he might be the type to prefer his privacy. For just a moment as she removed her hands she thought of seeking further, of touching his chest or belly as it rose and fell softly, or to feel the warmth of his body or the harsh texture of his crystals. She blushed at the thought and decided to distract herself, taking his shoulder and wiggling it. "Hey, you. We have to make sure you're alright here. Wake up!" She had more to offer, but unconsciousness worried her. Should she have recruited that woman to get Thorn back into town? To get him somewhere safe? There was no way she was moving this hulk of a man herself!

"Huh what?" He tried to sit up got halfway and sank back down. "Oh yes, that, is everything okay?" His eyes searched the area. Huh, no one around, she was safe, which was good, he didn't think fighting with a big hole was all that smart. He rolled back onto his belly so he could use his arms to lever himself up, he did it slowly, wondering if she would sit on him to get him to stay still or if she trusted her healing abilities enough to let him move a little. It hurt but it was better and not bleeding, he could wrap it up later. Soon enough he was standing legs braced apart, well she was a bit tiny wasn't she and very cute. Keep your mind on your legs Thorn make them stay, "And your name is milady?"

Ime smiled softly and nodded. "Yes, everything's fine."
She though so anyway. He was awake and seemed coherent, that was a good thing. There were no more half-sentences. As Thorn rolled, though, she lost contact with his wound. Well it was probably as good as it was going to get on magic alone anyway. It would heal rapidly over the next few days, which was enough for a non-paying customer, she told herself. Health potions were not so simple to make.
As the man rose, she began to see how large he really was, and maybe she should have been afraid but for a moment all she saw was beauty, a wounded Adonis in need of care.
"Ime."
She smiled and blushed vividly, then moving to dig around in her bag. She was so very flustered and not so sure why. "Here. This will help the pain."
From her bag she pulled a small pot and lifted its lid to reveal a sort of green, herbaceous salve. She dipped her own fingers in without really thinking, and her eyes shot from Thorn's face to his wound. Well, it wouldn't do to waste. She looked to the Leaf man for a moment, questioned him silently, then decided that she had already touched him so a little more wasn't going to hurt.
"I'm going to touch it again." He'd seemed surprised before, so clearly he'd want some warning.
This time she ran her slick fingers around the edges of the wound, and in moments a cooling sort of numbness would begin to form. She put the lid back on and tucked the salve away.

She was cute when she blushed...then he realized what he was thinking and he blushed too. Then he noticed she was talking about his wound he looked from her to it. Ungh. This was going to hurt again. He lifted an arm so she could get at it better. "Um sure." Well she had partially patched it already so she might as well finish to her hearts content.
The green stuff smelled attrocious and his nose wrinkled against his own will. But it did help with the pain. Ahh much better. "Does it prevent infection too?" Yes keep talking don't think about her smearing her perfect, delicate hand across your muscles. He swallowed, "Thank you for your help, it is most appreciated." He patted her shoulder awkwardly but gently trying not to break her or even ruffle anything.
Maybe.. maybe he could keep in touch with this one. He didn't have that many friends and her skills were well developed and well again she was very cute. "I er.. I um ...do you live around here?" Sutle yes, he could be suttle...kinda.
