It was unusually cold when Izotz made his way around his borders, even with the sun shining above. It sometimes got like this, being so high up and it would be colder still when the sun set. He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth, continuing forward. Naturally, the cold wouldn't bother him but it meant a few stray animals would seek his cave looking for warmth. He was not cruel enough to turn them away but he didn't wish for their 'company' either. He frowned and sighed - it would be a long night.
The stallion nosed into a berry bush, helping himself to a quick snack. It was there he noticed the oddity - which was easy, given that it was bright pink. A single basket was nestled in the bushes and he nosed at it gingerly, sniffing the life inside. Looking up, he growled low, searching for any sign of parents - who were, much to his annoyance, in his lands. He sniffed at the ground but whatever trace of them was gone and there were no hoofprints that he could see. He wandered some ways around - perhaps they were fliers.
Izotz returned sometime later to find the basket still there. He stared at it for a good few minutes, lips pursed as he waged war, wondering what would be the best decision for himself. He sucked in a breath and turned quickly.
"Not your problem, Not. Your. Problem." he mumbled to himself, resigning to leave the basket. Perhaps its parents would return shortly - how would they react if they returned to find their basket gone? Then he'd have to deal with them trampling all over his land. He gave a nod. It was the right choice and he was content. He had walked for barely a few minutes when the wind snapped through the trees; cold enough to make even him shiver which meant it was particularly cold.
His steps slowed before finally coming to a stop and he looked over his shoulder in the direction he came. The bush was still in sight, along with the pink little basket. He didn't move until the wind moved again and he let out an exasperated sigh, hurrying to the basket. He gave one last look for its parents before carefully nudging it out of the bush and back towards his cave. It was temporary. He wasn't going to let the thing die. With any luck, its parents would come looking for it and that would be the end of it.
He gave an assuring nod. It was temporary - just to make sure it didn't die. As soon as possible, he'd be done with it. Once it could survive on its own, he'd send it on its way.belloblossom i'm not sure if you want to actually post as the basket but figured i'd quote you just in case. i'd rather do a seperate popping RP if that's okay. but lemme know if it's not!

LOLTERNATIVE I don't mind it being a separate roleplay and I'm not sure what I'd reply as a basket. If this is just a solo RP until Eleanor pops out, that's fine by me. Just keep quoting me when ya post so I can keep up with it, okies? 3nodding
