Something moved, and Poe was ready to attack, his pumpbiscuit racing from the adrenaline. Then, it spoke. That voice. Ugh, he recognized that high-pitched, scratchy voice anywhere. It was that mountain redblood, that he kind of hated even though she helped him before. What was she doing here? He looked again, and saw the white thing he'd thought was the howlbeast. Now he could tell... it was too small. just her lusus. He lowered his weapon a bit. Still, he didn't like the way she was lurking around, and knowing her she was probably up to something suspicious or weird. Better check it out.
"I know it's you," he said with a frustrated sigh, and continued walking over toward her, carefully making his way around the various heaps of woolbeast leavings and hay piles.
"What are you doing at my hive? Looking for a lynx to the past?" He cracked a smile.
"See, because we've met before, in the past, and because I know you hate puns, and also your lusus is a lynx, and that sounds like... links... uh, well, you probably get that. Because you are kind of smart. Although making a joke about the woolbeast probably would have been funnier, but you sort of startled me."The greenblood waved his shears around and rested it back on the ground.
"I thought you were the howlbeast here to eat my sheep! I almost attacked you! You should be more careful," he admonished the redblood.
