Suri awoke to the brightness of the sunrise shining in through her bedroom window, blinking rapidly to clear the berry sleep from her eyes. She glanced over at the digital clock flashing bright green numbers at her, before finally realizing that she had overslept. Suri shot upright, hurriedly leaping out of her bed and getting dressed in a flash. "Didn't anyone think to wake me up?!" she hollered. She hurried downstairs, slinging her book bag over her shoulder, her long, dark hair flowing gently behind her. The petite girl stole a couple of granola bars for her breakfast, and stuffed the lunch she had made the night before into her backpack before bounding out the door. In a matter of no time, she made it to school, surprisingly on time to get first class. She opened the door as the first bell rang, smiling a bit to see that Michael already in his seat. She made her way to the empty seat next to him, sitting down with a small sigh. "Good morning. Early as usual.." she said joyfullY to the male. "How are you?"

Suri couldn't help the small frown that appeared on her sweet facial features at the simple answer that he replied with. However, that frown lingered only momentarily, before she smiled brightly once again, seeing it as an opportunity to try and get the male to change his own facial expression at least once. "Really? None of my mornings are ever the same.. At least not that I've noticed.. I woke up incredibly late this morning; I didn't even have time to do my hair.. My mother leaves for work about the time that I usually wake up, and if my alarm clock doesn't go off, I can count on her to wake me up." She babbled, not even caring to see if he was listening or not, as students began to flood into the classroom. "I suppose I should change my early morning methods.." she added with a light giggle. Her bright eyes glanced over at him, seeing him deeply involved in a book that he was almost halfway through. "What're you reading?"
