Tamotsu had awoken from what he felt was a long slumber. His body creaked from sleeping in the same position for so long. He moved to shake out his limbs when he noticed something unusual. Where paws used to be, he had a hand and five fingers. He gaped in awe as he wiggled his fingers. “Am I …..seeing this? Is this for real?” he gazed up from his hand to his arm where the sleeves of a kimono and happi pooled at his elbow. Clothes? He glanced around. He didn’t remember wearing clothes all too often, being a pokemon and all.
But then he remembered, he had stumbled across a strange star before passing out. “I wonder what happened.” He moved to stand on new found human-legs. Quickly picking up his vulpix plush as he made his way over to a tree where he propped himself up beside the koi pond; he looked at his reflection. He gasped! “Is that ME?” He was in a shock! It was true. He had become a human child. Though he still had his tails and foxy ears, his body was that of a little boy. He beamed. This meant he could work on the shrine and have a much easier time of it then before. What good fortune! He would have to show Brenny! No doubt he would be just as excited at the ninetales.
He hugged the vuplix plushie close and spun around with joy before toppling over. He had to get busy though! He should teach himself to walk and do things that the priests could do that he was unable to do before. Perhaps it was time for a mass cleaning of the Shrine to start things off!

Brenny had decided to make his way back to the shrine; bearing the gifts of early spring; snow drops. He'd found some in the clearing earlier and had wanted to give them to Tammy. The ninetails wanted so badly to repair the shrine, the celebi boy was certain the flowers would help brighten the place up. They were a winter - spring flower he always enjoyed seeing; one of the first to poke out after the snow started to melt.
"Tammy!" he called, when he'd reached the shrine. "Tammy, I brought something for you! Want to work on the shrine today? I brought flowers and snacks, if you do!" He'd wanted to help the ninetails ever since he'd met him. Especially after learning that the shrine had been built for a celebi; what if, after they repaired it, the celebi who'd visited all those years ago returned? What if that celebi wanted to be Brenny's friend, just as it was Tammy's? "There's a sandwich and crackers, and a juice for each of us!"
He noticed a boy on the ground and hurried to his side. "You okay?" he asked. "What're you doing here? Did you come to visit Tammy, too?"
