General Painite watched the Royal Knight with an eager grin on her face, no trace of fear in her gaze despite their previous encounters and his rank. He got the feeling she knew things he did not know, and her confidence stemmed from the advantages she thought she had. He would have to be careful. Considering she was alive at all, she was clearly capable of anything. There was no room for underestimating her again.
She stepped out from the ruined cabin, taking a few steps toward him and then stopping. There were in the middle of the woods, a long clearing all around them, and a small, abandoned cabin at her back. Well, once abandoned, after its owner was conveniently removed. Painite took up residence there with her captive, the Dark Mirror Senshi Navi, though a rescue operation had been mounted. With the help of Merlinite, she had kept Navi in secret here for days on end, but all good things had to finish eventually.
But she was not going to let them run away from her, not this time. Eternal Sailor Chaonis, Navi’s loving boyfriend, and her best friend and fellow DMC Lesath had made it into the cabin already, and Painite imagined they were already making a run for it. Her companion and guard, Merlinite, was only a Captain, and did not really have a chance of stopping them.
So she needed to call in more reinforcements. But first, she needed to get Camelot where she wanted him.
“I was hoping I would see you again. You’re not much of an executioner, though you played the judge and jury well enough,” she said. “I’m going to kill you last, I think. I want you to watch all your little friends die because of how you failed.”
“It doesn’t have to be this way, Painite,” Camelot said, but his voice shook a bit. What was it? Fear? No, he was confident, as she was, and resolved in a dire way. Angry? That was probably closer, considering the threat she was to his family.
“Yeah, it does. And you know that. Don’t be silly.”
Painite teleported. She had to be careful of her own footing, lest her traps be turned against her. She had always been fond of booby traps, and she defended the clearing with her most beloved of toys. Reappearing in front of Camelot, she called her spear forward and took a swing at him. He was fast, though, and seemed to anticipate her movement. He side stepped, staying closer, and called his shield to his hand. It was massive and beautiful, in its way, though to Painite it was hideous. Her back cried out in pain just at the memory of how he last used that weapon against her.
He nearly killed her, and if not for Merlinite, she would not have gotten up after Camelot smashed her with that shield.
It did not take her long to realize he was not holding back, like he usually was. Her spear smashed into his shield, ringing a violent song and making her arm shudder from the impact. He pushed back against her, making her lose her balance, and charged forward with her. For a moment, she felt honest panic, though she was not sure if it was because of him, or the traps she knew she was in danger of stepping into.
He brought his shield back as she stumbled, following her fluidly, focused on his miserable goal. Things had to end, and he had to be sure this time. He swung his dragon-emblazoned shield at her, its green, crystal eye glimmering in the fading light, and connected with her side with a bone shaking force. She let out a cry and flew sideways, skidding across the grass and taking a moment to look around before she realized she could use this to her advantage. Pained, but confident, she took her time getting up, struggling and looking more injured than she was.
Camelot approached her, eyes grimly set.
“I’m sorry, Painite. You are giving me no choice,” he said, taking a breath and raising his shield again. Painite looked up at him, and for a moment flashed back to when he tried this before. When he destroyed her life for too many agonizing weeks, stealing everything from her and nearly ruining her career in the Negaverse. Taking her one purpose from her. She could never forgive him, and let out a scream when he moved to smash his shield down at her, this time aiming for her head.
“Camelot, NO!” a voice came from behind them. Merlinite, from the cabin, leaning on the doorway, was watching the fight and could not help but panic as he saw the inevitable finally approaching. He had saved Painite that night, after all, and now he was being forced to watch it happen all over again. But this time he did not think he would be able to make a difference, or if he really wanted to.
His voice, though, made Camelot hesitate. It was slight, but Painite saw it, and delighted in it. His weakness had always been his big heart. Of course he would regret what he did to her, and his heart would ache when he saw how scared of him she was. Of course he would pause when someone begged him for mercy. He was a pathetic man, with weaknesses that were all too easy to take advantage of.
She vanished.
Camelot realized his mistake too late, as Painite appeared beside him and slammed into him with as much force as she could muster in a short tackle. He was not expecting it, assuming she would use her shield, and he stumbled a few steps sideways as a result. It was just enough. The bear trap snapped shut with a crack that echoed through the woods, coupled with the sound of crunching metal. The sudden pain was terrible, and Camelot, surprised by it, stumbled and fell. Painite was after him in a moment, leaping on to his back with her spear in hand.
“You pathetic fool! You don’t have what it takes to win! You never will! None of you will!” She yelled, wild laughter morphing her words into grotesque howls. She gripped her spear with both hands and slammed it down at him, feeling it clash against the metal of his armor, but she would not relent. She stabbed at him tirelessly, with all her strength, until she felt metal give way to flesh. Her wicked spear sank into his back, and she screeched in delight, not stopping her assault, pulling it back and stabbing down at him until the blade got caught in his armor and she could not pull it back out. She tried wrenching it sideways, but that only resulted in the staff snapping off at the head of the blade. Only a small part of it was visible from his armor and the torn, blood stained fabric of his cloak, but she was too lost in her rage to let her broken weapon stop her.
She stomped on his back, where the spear head was digging into him, his armor slowing it but the amount of blood pouring from that area telling her she had managed to do some serious damage. Coupled with his shattered leg, she knew he was not going anywhere. This was it, this was her victory!
Grabbing her crystal, she screamed into it in delight and madness, summoning any Negaverse soldier within range of her to hear.
”Come to the woods, any true soldier of the Negaverse! Come to the woods and seal the fate of a Royal Knight! Help me destroy my enemies, as they flee from me! Do not let them escape! A senshi, and two Dark Mirrors. They must all die tonight! Come prove your strength, your loyalty! Come to me!”
Camelot, laying face down on the ground, unable to move and realizing what he was hearing, struggled to bring his hand up, to activate his own signet. He needed to send out a mayday to all knights in the area, and though he was weak and his energy fading, he managed to send a message of need to anyone who could receive it, begging for help not for himself, but for Chaonis, Navi and Lesath, who would be hunted down and slaughtered if Painite was not stopped.
The smell of blood was already in the air. It was only going to get worse from here.

The big battle is on!
Everyone who managed to get a message from either Painite or Camelot will come to the clearing and the fight will happen here. There are hidden traps, like the one Camelot stepped in, but they are available to the RPers at their own discretion, and won't be part of the dice game!
This is supposed to be an easy and fun brawl between the forces of good and evil. There is no decided winner or loser, but each battle will be decided randomly by the roll of dice.
Directions:
Both battlers must roll 5 10-sided dice. The numbers you roll reflect the power or effectiveness of your attacks each 'round', and the person with the highest number from the rolls is the winner. You can RP the fight out however you like, but all 5 dice must be rolled at once, as your first post.
Please quote or notify your opponent when you roll.
You cannot delete posts! If you mess up, edit to say that the incorrect roll is void, but do not delete anything! You have to keep whatever you roll. The only way to reroll is if there is a tie and both players must roll again.
To make the numbers even, there will be 10 youma to battle some of the senshi, and I will be playing them!
This is all being made on the fly, pretty much, so I may have to tweak things as we go! If I do, please be patient with me! If anyone has any ideas of suggestions, please let me know!

At the end of your battle, please try to have your character exit! A little contrived, I know, but I am not too sure what to do with SO MANY people rofl! If they do stay, please do not interfere in other battles!
Also, those of you that signed up with cats or characters that could not fight, you are free to RP them trying to help or providing moral support if you would like, but I could not think of a way to incorporate them into the game itself ;-; <3

OKAY. I think I am going to go ahead and call this open! Feel free to post intros with your rolls or just roll and then figure out your RP posts after! IF things get too confusing or there are unexpected issues, I will do my best to accommodate for them!
For my youma rolls, I will wait for the people I am fighting to arrive before doing those rolls!

(My roll for the upcoming battle between Merlinite and Serpentarius. )
Merlinite could not believe what he was seeing. The Royal Knight brought down by Painite and her traps. The way Painite lost herself in her blood lust, calling out to any Negaverse soldier she could to come and help her kill these people she decided she hated.
It was a nightmare. He had no idea what side he was supposed to defend at this point, and he hoped he could just stay back and not be noticed by anyone.
He felt them, the auras of others. He saw shadows moving from the trees. Monsters? Youma... she had even managed to get the attention of youma. Or maybe this was all part of her plans, anyway. He could not tell any more, and he shuddered as he moved away from the cabin, wobbling but recovering enough from his encounter with the Eternal Senshi of Danger. Chaonis had managed to hit him a few times, bloody him up, but he was still on his feet.
And waiting for the inevitable fights to come.

Elpis had mot expected a call in her vicinity for help, let alone from someone she'd never met, but all the same, help was asked for and help would arrive. Even if help came in the form of a tiny-seeming senshi that moved for the woods at a jog. Even less expected was that this would be pretty, if her life before with these ******** was any clue. Regardless, she planned to be of help, and help she could do, mentally searching inside for the magic that practically pushed at her mind and the senshi fell into a stalk as she looked for the source of the distress call - well, text, sending her father's cell phone a short message asking to please maybe make scones and keep some things for bandages out that would be GREAT. She had no illusions she would be some conquering hero, more like a dummy with magic running around biting things, and most seemed... Knowledgeable. Well, she wasn't as in the know, but she was vicious, and Elpis began to stalk, looking around. "Hello?" She called, tone oddly steel and ice, feet moving at a stalk only by force of will.

frayedflower Coffinite V. Mont Blonc's can of Raid Coffinite responded readily. He was pleased to finally do more good service, pleased the prediction his cards gave was true (of course they were) and the half-youma slipped for the woods to respond to Painite evenly, sliding into the trees and nibly moving through the branches, his arms offering him a better grip to move tree to tree, a shadow above as he looked down, licking his lips. There was work to do and prey to stalk, and now he need only wait, bending and adjusting to enter a good position to stalk, grinning fiercely. Yes, yes, come to him. However, for now, he remained silent, alost a demon proper in the tree as an all too toooothy grin formed on his face. Now was time to wait. And watch for prey.

Kadyrelite was still sore, still slow moving thanks to the injuries inflicted on her by the youma that now lived happily within her chest. But she dutifully powered up every day and did her job. Anything less would have earned a painful sting of the little monster's teeth in the vicinity of her heart.
But she had not expected the call from another General to be broadcast through her communications crystal. Still less had she expected the almost insane tone of bloodlust in that General's voice.
You must answer, little one. It is your duty. You are strong enough for this.
"Thanks," she sighed softly. "I think."
Still, the youma had been almost considerate as she'd healed. Encouraging even. If Strytha thought she could do this, well, it was probably right. And since she wasn't able to teleport, that meant running. Still, they weren't far from where the General was. And it took only a few minutes to race there.
And once there, her senses were practically battered by the swift arrival of forces from both sides. fiction1119 Kadyrelite vs Pompeii Sorry for the re-quote. Let me know if you have any ideas for how this goes down. All I can figure out is according to the dice, Kady wins. XD;;;

The second Camelot's SOS reached his ring, Glitnir felt a heap of rocks drop into his stomach. He had no idea what was going on, but it looked bad, and it probably really was bad. If Camelot, a Royal Knight, was sending out an emergency message, deep s**t was going down. Grasping his new scales (all while remembering the trolling he had to endure to get them), he made a beeline for the clearing that the trouble seemed to be taking place in and started frantically searching for Camelot in the growing mess of people fighting. "Camelot? Camelot, where are you?!" Shame that he was bound to get interrupted before he could offer any assistance.

Megrez had received a surprise post-it note ringmail from Glitnir while on patrol with Sadachbia. Royal Knight in trouble, looks like in a forest clearing. No time to explain, please help. While Megrez didn't know much about Destiny City's resident Royal Knight, she knew enough to know that this was bad news. Though she was reluctant to bring the basic senshi along to something that could take down a Royal Knight, Sadachbia insisted, and so here they were. "All right, what the hell's going on here?" Megrez already had one hand cupped, ready to call up an egg of either size once something or someone came for her.

The call for back up didn't only reach the knights, but nearby senshi with cellphones. Although it wasn't the call from Camelot that drew Mintaka out, but the sense....that her brother was in trouble, of something wrong with Merlinite. she felt the chaos energies ping from all directions.
Her land into the battlefield was graceful and she walked with purpose, to steal Merlinite away before she caught herself in a battle. She could only be so hopeful.
Even if she caught the gaze of the lieutenant, she breezed by him as it he didn't matter.

The part of Destiny City where Camelot's call for help came from wasn't one that Dallol and Corinth usually covered on their patrols and were familiar with. But that didn't stop them from dropping literally everything in order to go to the Royal Knight's aid the moment they got his message. If Camelot was so knee deep in trouble to have to send out a distress call on such a scale, it was bound to be something really really bad and big to boot.
Arriving at the clearing, Dallol couldn't help but frown at the mass of Order and Chaos auras that were almost everywhere. It would take more than just a while to fully appraise the situation and locate the Royal Knight who was no doubt at the centre of it all.
