There were days when the guilt was not terrible and then there were days this one, where it lay heavy on her heart, suffocating her and wishing to change the past. She had begun her search for her sister, to set things right, but finding a soquili sold into slavery was harder than she had thought. Bexoi had known the name of the stallion who bought her sister, but when she set out to look for him he was like a ghost, a rumor, and a vague memory. It was incredibly frustrating. “Seline, where are you?” She spoke the question out loud, not expecting a reply. The ones that knew the answer to that question seemed to have vanished without a trace, where was this Story Master and what had he done with her sister? The only way for her to rid herself of this uncontrollable guilt was to find her sister and making things right. Calixto was going to help with the search, but Bex knew that she had to be the one, for it was mostly her idea to sell their half-sister so her perfection could no longer bother them.

Davina Mo Nighean Donn had set out from her homelands a moon's turn ago. Her family wanted her to go to her cousin, to bring some sense to her. Under that guise she had left, though it was not her intentions. Margaery had done nothing wrong but her people were strict. Our people, except for Davina's mother who did not hold her to the same standards that Margaery's mother had. Things would have been so different for Margaery if she had been given some freedom instead of suffocated. Didn't they know that was the only way to let flowers grow beautifully?
A soft question carried on the wind and in a fit of whimsy Davina answered. "I'm here, but I'm not this Seline that you call for. For that I am sorry." She pushed through the brush and found herself looking at a flutter who looked stricken with grief. "What's wrong?" She asked in a soothing voice

A voice called out to the grey colored mare, for a second her heart raced in hope and then the words came to her, it was not her sister but some other flutter. Her wings were strange, they had feathers as well as the thin membrane of the usual flutter wings. She was a light brown and her mane shade darker brown mane was placed in an interesting up style. Should Bexoi tell this stranger the truth? That she had sold her sister into slavery because she was jealous of her? The truth wanted to be heard, but Bexoi did not want to say anything, it would cast her in a negative light. With a sigh the Andalusian spoke the words that she had tried to keep hidden, “I am a terrible sister and soquili. Because of my envious emotions I had considered my sister’s life less than my own. Without a second thought I had sold her into slavery. At first I was happy with the outcome, I no longer had to look at her perfection and constanly see my own flaws in comparison to her, but then the guilt took over. Oh guilt, such a terrible feeling. I hate it and I hate Seline for making me feel this way, but I have to make things right or this guilt will continue to eat me up and I could not handle that.”
Bexoi did not look at the mare, for she was sure she would see a look of disgust upon the stranger’s countenance. She deserved that look, she was a monster, a terrible loathsome creature who sold her loving sister into a life of servitude.

Davina felt some shock at the revelation but kept her court face in place. She considered her words carefully. "Where I come from girls are often sold into mateships without a thought to their feelings on the matter." She paused, "You can set things right but who are you doing it for? If it is to asauge your own guilt rather than because you love her, it will mean nothing to her when you rescue her. Search your heart."
She closed her eyes as she searched her own. "You should help her and set things right if you can, but it cannot be just for yourself. I go to fetch my cousin under the guise of bringing her home, but I am going to tell her she can never go home. Not if she wants to be free. If it means I can never see her again. Then so be it. It is for love I do this, not duty. Do you love her?"

Bexoi stared at the mare, “I am doing this for myself, I would feel guilty if I sold a stranger into slavery, it is a terrible fate to wish upon someone. I do not love my sister. I hated her when she was around, thus why I sold her into servitude. Perhaps I wish that we can reconcile and become close, but I do not hold my breath. I doubt she could love me and I could love her, I have too much resentment built up towards her. And why can’t it be just for myself?” The flutter looked away from the mare, “You are a better and more compassionate soul than I am. I am selfish, and only wish to get rid of this guilt I feel and the easiest way would be to save my half-sister from the fate I set upon her.” Bexoi de Papilio did not think she could ever love her sister, but she could try, once the guilt was gone, to feel other emotions besides hate for her perfect sibling.
