Other than the typical debris of papers, books, CDs, and project materials the place was pretty clean. He had pictures of family and friends strewn across the plain white walls with blueprints and posters of famous buildings adding bright punches of color. It was haphazard and completely him, just about the only thing he did in honor of Delilah coming over was the laundry, dishes, and light straightening. Why ruin the character of the place by putting everything away, not that he had a lot of storage space.
Quinn turned on the tv and got Netflix to play Extreme Engineering. He had already seen all the episodes but it was still so fascinating to watch. He was just sitting down on his super comfy when two things happened nearly simultaneously, his phone rang and someone knocked on the door. He answered the phone while making his way to the door, Isis actually best him to it and stood in front of it like a dog. "Move furball," Quinn nudged the giant cat out of the way, "not you mom! Talking to Isis. Someone's at the door..." He trailed off as his mom started to ramble on in his ear and he finally got the door open while trying to juggle holding the cat back and the phone to his ear.
