Marriage SystemFebruary 23rd, 2015: Narumi Misuhara The Iron Magus FeaturesCan the titles “Waifu” and “Husbando” be added to the list of Marriage System titles? razz (They'd make great Achievement Titles, too. >_> ) ...Should probably also throw in hubby and wifey actually. Perhaps in the next update. Narumi Misuhara super-noob-e FeaturesHi, I was wondering if it would be possible to make it so that under the username of someone you are married to it could say something other than "your friend"? Also if there could be some way to share items and money with a spouse, like joint accounts. We'll take a look, might be a better place to show the title in general. Don't want to file a ticket if y'all are working on a fix. heart We're actually working on something to get that achievement out to you guys who do not have them! Could there (or will there) be any more events or features specifically for 'married' gaians? The achievement and the description underneath the username are both wonderful, but I was thinking that we could possibly have events/other features specifically for those who are married. Yes, we're working on some features- they may take a while to implement, but its in development. Narumi Misuhara Ranas94 FeaturesI think the new marriage system is great! Even tho I'm not planning on using it. So I was thinking if you could make something like a family system. Just for the fun of it, I wanted to toss in another suggestion: in addition to the "In a relationship with _____", you could also offer the option "In an It's Complicated with _____"! razz Hahaha, I thought you guys didn't want us to be more like Facebook razz

I filled out a ticket already, still nothing. We're still working on a script that will go ahead and auto-grant the achievements to married couples who do not have it yet, sorry about that!

Love the marriage system but some Gaians are single and proudly so.
So my question: Could Gaia make it so our single status appears under our avatar in forums?
I would love to see Flying Solo Since Jul 01, 2009 under my avatar!
And hey thanks in advance for considering this. :3 It's possible, though the system wasn't really designed with "singles in mind" aside from them getting married.

June 20th, 2017: Lanzer Strata the ShadowDragon FeaturesHello Gaia Staff, how are you all? I have a question about the Marriage feature on Gaia. All that I am aware of is that when a couple gets married they just have the perk of having shown as a status or what ever. Are there any other perks to it? (This is a suggestion, I guess) If not, would it be possible to have some sort of 'Shared Inventory' or 'Shared Gold Account'? I know there could be difficulties in the case of a divorce, but could it be possible to have some sort of tracker on the inventory items? And in the case of the 'shared gold account', is it possible to have the two parties agree to split it down the middle before the actual marriage? Just a few thoughts. Have a good evening. The marriage feature is for status display only. To share resources or inventory would mean some serious dispute if any couple decide to separate. So for now, there are no additional features to go with it.

I think it'd be great for those that want to proclaim their spouse as also their best friend, or for those wanting to participate in the marriage system for the achievements but in a more platonic way or want to share with Gaia that they're best friends with a person. I know there's some titles similar to this already, but I think a "bestie" or "best friend" title would be awesome. We can look into that. Too bad there isn't a national holiday for besties. Shows you how much I know about the real world. sweatdrop

August 7th, 2018: Lanzer heavens exiled Features (bug/glitch) The marriage system is broken. It's showing me as married to someone I don't know and others are just outright getting divorced. Could you please fix this? I thought I got hacked / my friend got hacked. The bug/glitch forum is jam packed with the same threads asking about it and it hasn't been addressed by staff. * update: I am now apparently divorced but I am still married to my friend. ??? Uh oh, we did some optimization last week which might have broken it. Will check on it later today.
