Where is it? This purple portal likely wouldn't have been found at all if it wasn't screaming. A rickety ladder has been propped up on the side of the auditorium to help those who cannot fly reach the roof fairly safely.
What's Inside? Much like the interior of the red portal, this area has a pink sky with wispy heart-shaped clouds. Rather than being confined to a maze, however, you are in the middle of an open, grassy field that never seems to end.
What Do I Do? Try to reach the end of the field:
It never ends. Eventually you come back around to where you were.
Something is lumbering toward you.
Forever Alone Monster 80 HP 5 damage to you with each successful hit
Kill it. You may use any FEAR attacks in your arsenal if you are a student, horseman, or approved civilian. Quest students may use 2d6-6 to attack and they have 30HP but no FEAR attacks. Hunters in golems may use 2d4-4 to attack, have 10HP and no FEAR attacks as well. They may pendant back to Deus as needed.
How Do I Leave? Fight the Forever Alone monster until either you or it are dead. The portal reopens and you get the OOC prizes no matter who dies. You may reenter and fight again for bragging rights if you want, as long as you don't claim the prizes a second time.

The knock on the reaper's door was light. If not answered right away it would be followed by another knock.
"Mia! Mia are you in? Mia I'd like to have a chat with you!"
Marcy was very excited. Portals had popped up around campus. Good feelings came with them.
And she'd seen one that was the prettiest shade of purple and she just HAD to check it out.
But she didn't want to go alone. Never alone.
Would her friend go with her?

While the student council had deemed it was "safe enough" to explore the portals, Mia hadn't actually gone into any herself yet. Not that she didn't want to (though she kinda didn't), but because it was because she didn't have time. As a member of the council, and the secretary no less, she had to make sure everything was running smoothly. The portal that worried her the most was the heart one, mostly because melty gnome faces were somewhat troubling (thankfully the students who went in and came out seemed intact), and the chocolate portal... her inner fashionista wept when she saw chocolate-coated students returning, leaving a mess inside the creeptaria and outside the creeptaria, as well as the halls. Surely the lunch lady would be livid if they didn't clean up the mess ASAP.
Actually, the one most worrying would probably be- The reaper jumped at the knock, yet the voice put her at ease. Ah, Marcy. It had been a while since she had seen the little ghost ghoul. Perhaps she was eager to tell her about her portal adventures? Mia got up from her desk and went to the door, smiling pleasantly as she opened it. "Marcy, it's so good to see you! What did you want to talk about?"

"Hi! Are you, um, busy right now?" She tried to look past her friend to see what she'd been up to. "I'm sure you've heard all about the weird portals on campus and I, um, wanted to explore them a little bit. Have you been through any? Would you, maybe, want to join me for a little exploration?" Marcy just, set it all out there. She was really excited and didn't want to wait.

"No, not really..." Mia arched an eyebrow as Marcy tried to peek in. She wouldn't see much besides a room that looked... surprisingly tidy, with an occasional pixie daeva or leviasprite flitting about. "Ah... sure! Which one did you have in mind?" Please not the chocolate one PLEASE not the chocolate one.

Marcy's face lit up with joy. "Oh! Wonderful! Thank you!" She stepped back, farther into the hallway and twirled. She was really eager ok. "I saw this really pretty purple one on top of the auditorium and I almost went in but I didn't want to go alone." She was a little bit scared.
"But if you go with me it will be alright!"

Ah, that one. Mia was glad Marcy came to her first. That particular portal had caused her some unease (that screeching was MOST unsettling), and she had been meaning to check it out. "Of course I will! To be honest, I'm not sure if that particular portal is safe to go in by yourself, but I'm sure with the two of us, we'll manage somehow." She gave Marcy a reassuring wink.

Marcy couldn't quite say what she was so excited about. Maybe it was all the good vibes coming from the portals. Maybe it was just the way they glowed.
It certainly wasn't the strange wailing coming from the portal, but considering Marcy was a ghost, wailing wasn't much of a turn off. And it was such a pretty shade of purple. Surely whatever was on the other side would be just as pretty.
"See! Isn't it pretty?" Marcy asked once they were on top of the auditorium. "Come on! Let's go!"
Having Mia there really boosted the ghost's confidence, and she was jumping through the portal a moment later.
It was wonderful on the other side. Lovely shade of pink, pretty little clouds... Marcy just kind of stood there in wonder and happiness. It was perfect.

If it were the former, Mia would have questioned the ghoul's perception of "good vibes". And possibly be slightly worried. Aside from that, she did have to admit she did purple WAS a pretty colour. She'd never deny such a thing. However, Marcy's enthusiasm was a bit... "Wait! Don't-" She sighed when the ghoul jumped in.
"She's certainly excited, isn't she?" Mia turned to her familiar, and sighed again. "A little TOO excited if you ask me..."
Well, best not to leave her there alone. Who knew what was in there? It wasn't long until Mia entered the portal herself, looking around at their surroundings. Huh, nothing seemingly out of the ordinary...

"Just look at it! So pretty! And it goes on for as far as I can see!" Marcy laughed and twirled and laughed some more.
She was just about to thank Mia for coming with her when she spotted something running over the grassland. "Huh?"
Marcy stared at it as it it got closer. "Mia, who do you think that is?"

Marcy peered around from behind Mia. "But surely in an place like this it's something friendly!"
And it was. It truly was. The monster lumbered right on over and tried to give the girls a hug. Boss HP: 80
"Looks can be deceiving, sweetie. I suggest you stay back." She spun around, glaring at the monster before summoning forth her butterflies to strike it. However, the creature was much faster than she thought, and she jumped back as it tried to reach out for a hug, smacking it away with her hand. "Back off!"
