Just as Byakko Mawiya had promised, one week after you launched your investigation a hooded adult inconspicuously slipped to your side, whispering that your presence had been requested at the meeting cavern. The tables inside the cavernous room were once again pushed to the centre, encircled by chairs, and the rebel leader was already seated at position with her back to the wall. This time, there were no guards lingering behind her. There were only you and your peers.

"Welcome," Byakko's weighty voice boomed throughout the cave once it seemed everyone was in attendance. "I hope your investigations have proven rewarding, for now is the time for us to deliberate over our collective findings. Let's get straight to it; the aim of this conference is to open a dialogue and identify the root of our complications. I'm sure by this point we're all aware of the plenitude of the Initiative's problems, but they may not all be sourced from the same troll. We primarily need to figure out who is the one responsible for some of the more... heinous betrayals." Glancing intently around the room to each face, she pressed on. "Present your evidence to the group, express your opinions on the matter so we can discuss and debate. Surely, between all of our information, there lays a verdict."

Akko folded her hands on the table, once again taking a moment to make eye contact with each attendee. "Speak freely and honestly. Every opinion matters- now, would anyone like to take the floor?"

_______________

At this point, you are free to discuss your clues and opinions with other teams both ICly and OOCly! Yay theory time!

In this thread, you may ICly and OOCly accuse the parties you believe to be guilty. Please do post the OOC form even if you roleplay in this thread for clarities sake.

You are free to accuse multiple trolls of other minor crimes, but ultimately, the goal is to find the main source of the Initiative's problems and identify the correct suspect.

You can resubmit the following form as many times as you see fit, as your opinion may change. Your final form is what the staff will count as your vote. Each troll casts their own vote/opinion, and majority rules.

You have until the night of the 21st at midnight to cast your vote.

Lunear, despite being a glowing mass of grey and robes and general 'I stick out like a sore fat stub finger' did what any troll would do.

He began to make a pile.

Then sitting on the pile of various things he crossed his arms and opened his word blaster. "Okay so sharing is caring so who cares enough about not dying -for good- "he added in case anyone wasn't sure that he was not a fan of the whole dying thing, " to share what they got?"

Odette narrowed her eyes at Lunear, doing her best to keep herself composed. She was supposed to be professional here, especially with the concept of promotion looming over her. She took a deep breath. That was right. They were considering a promotion for her hard work and loyalty, weren't they? That's right, and they weren't considering Lune.

Pettiness aside, Odette rose from her seat and gathered her documents. "Pardon me," She said, "I've collected all of the clues our team has discovered into a single document." She looked around the room, giving a glance to Vremea for confidence. She took a breath before continuing, "If any of you have clues or other information to add, I suggest you come up and do so." She placed the papers at the end of the table, neatly stacked and stapled. Her eyes darted nervously around the room again. She found herself standing for an awkward period of time before quickly seating herself.

Vremea eyed Lunear from afar and sighed. She'd heard of the stuff that went down after their fight and how he was among them. Now that he was, as he'd called them, a mutant, he'd finally be able to step out of his own fancy heels and step into their own. If he was here, it was for a reason-- to help. After getting caught, he was still associating himself with the rebels? That must've meant he was definitely willing to help. Watching as Odette rose from her seat and shuffled some papers into order, the yellowblood gave her a nod of encouragement when she looked over toward her-- It had taken some time to go over what they'd had, but after a large amount deliberation, they'd found some information that proved... interesting.

Perhaps the other trolls around them had more input. Vremea sat in wait, fiddling with her dress's ruffles, feeling slightly self conscious...

Zeffer swaggered into the meeting cavern with his teammates, only to pull Byakko to the side for a short time, during which some intense whispering went down between the rebel leader and the ********. Once their short discussion had finished, he took his place at the table to share what clues they had found, and to iron out the details of who had done what with the other teams.

Quote:

Court Record

I think the troll responsible is Errade Etturi !
Why? Because:

- There are discrepancies between the documents about the failed WACKY mission and the high grade clearance documents. The location details of the two documents do not match up. Only someone with a high level clearance would be able to forge this kind of discrepancy.

- There is a file cabinet in the tunnels with a secret compartment; we found bundled copies of intel documents in the cabinet that would take high clearance to be able to duplicate and remove, maybe clearance only Errade has access to. The copies had a note on them that read 'part 3/7' in messy hand writing, and it's worth noting that Errade's hand writing is messy, so much so that her underlings complain about it.

- We found a pardon letter in a desk in the intel office. The desk had orange lipstick in it, which we believe belongs to Errade.

- TOLD TO AKKO ONLY: We tracked down Qinlon and were able to have a short discussion with him about what happened. While he doesn't even seem to know what happened back when the other adults died on the ships, he did admit that Errade was the one who led the accusations against him, which along with the other evidence, has allowed us to form this theory;

Errade either wants to take over the Initiative or destroy it completely, and auspisticed between Qinlon and Zhuque in order to appear loyal and trustworthy. She was likely responsible for the ship sabotage, and was definitely behind exiling Qinlon, using her standing as head of intel to make her claims look official. In order to gain full control (or disperse the rebels once and for all), she then plotted out the WACKY betrayal in order to get rid of Byakko, by feeding the military information about rebel activity, and planting misinformation to ******** up the rebels. If the pardon letter in her desk is hers, she would have been able to use it to go scott free once all was said and done. From there she may have rebuilt the Initiative's forces under her own guidance, or simply lived out her life without worry of later consequences.

But, HOLD IT! I also think that Odavat Tresna and Poutzi Verela are guilty of the following crimes:

Odavat Tresna

We believe Odavat may be diverting supplies, possibly to resell for his own gain. We suspect this because of the following pieces of evidence:

- There are many supply logbook entries that lack initials and dates for incoming deliveries, for two specific days every week. Supply logbooks are kept at the entrances of the supply rooms, where Odavat works as the head of the supply department, moving supplies around base where they are needed.

- The above evidence can be conntected to a bag of security tapes for the underground tunnels that was found hidden at the very back of the supply rooms, all of them corresponding with the same days that are always missing from the logbooks. On a trip to the Intel Department, we saw Odavat lingering near where the security tapes are kept, and his reaction to being seen in the area is somewhat suspicious.

- A small scrap of paper was found in a mess hall crate with the message 'Customer #12 owes me for two crates'. Written in green ink, we may have some reason to believe it was written by Odavat to some unknown accomplice. It at least points to the fact that some supplies are being diverted and sold to outside customers.

- One rebel member complained about a lack of certain supplies, mentioning that the head of the supply department should be more organized and able to keep the Initiative stocked for the things it needs, another clue that Odavat is sending supplies elsewhere.

- A large shipment of food was ordered away on Odavat's authority because it was supposedly contaminated, though this seems suspicious given the previous evidence.

- Boxes were found dumped far back into the tunnels, possibly pointing to the fact that their contents were removed and the boxes left where no one would think to look or care if they were found there.

Poutzi Verela

Poutzi may be working in tandem with Odavat, or working alone in order to extort other Initiative members, namely highbloods. We have the following evidence for this accusation:

- A note written in blue ink and neat handwriting with the message 'Pay up or lose your protection.' was found in a book in the meeting cavern. The writing utensil that we believe was used to create this note was later found in the mess hall; a fancy fountain pen that is metallic red in color, but writes in blue.

- A witness in Chittentown mentioned a 'baubly-horned' troll hassling their employees for a protection payment against highblooded thugs. This description may fit Poutzi. There were also several encounters with clues that place Poutzi in Chittentown often. This possibly connects Poutzi to the note demanding payment, and the pen matching her bloodcolor also contributes to the suspicion that she is the one who wrote the note.

- On our first encounter with her, Poutzi singled out and sneered at Zeffer, of all the other trolls in the team, and the only highblood between the three. We also get a clue from a young purpleblood in the meeting caverns having trouble with an 'older redblood' who seems to have a grudge against highbloods.

- A bag full of beetles was found in a pile of scrap with a note attached, with a codeword written in the same blue ink and neat handwriting as the note from the meeting caverns.

Stryke popped his head into the meeting room, while tired he slid into one of the chairs. A small yawn slipping past his squawk gaper. He didn't sit long however, and waited until Odette was done shuffling her papers. Ryk approached her to take a look see over the various bits of information gathered. "thank you for the hard work..this makes it much easier to read over and study the data! and everyone, for your hard work in sleuthing." The small yellowblood bowed his head respectfully to the redblood, grateful beyond measures to not only her but everytroll's combined effort.

He frowned as he studied the various collection of data, resting his chin on his palm. While he felt uncomfortable and nervous, they had a job to do.

Narrowed eyes squinted at a few particular points of information, a troubled look on the kids face. "thisss...is disturbing." he muttered with a frown, looking at the collection of trolls gathered. "i honestly believe we have a few troll's on hand up to no good." he whispered softly, as if afraid one of the people he had in mind would some how know what was in his thinkpan.

With a bit discussion with those present and consideration of the facts, he retrieved a yellowpen and began to jot down his thoughts on the matter. Some of the information didn't really make sense..but those bits that did connect jumped out at him.

Quote:

Court Record

I think the troll responsible is Errade Etturi !
Why? Because: Stryke is in agreement with Zeffer and Aprife.

The terrible hand writing as mentioned by the troll when describing Errade. This is a major clue connecting her. The messy writing on her reports, and secret cabinet documents. Additionally the documents that were found in the tunnel that had no business being anywhere else. Whom else would have such high clearance? This is a big red flag by my books. Along with the messy "PART 3/7" I can not lover look this bit as mere coincidence.

Also that bit about the WACKY brings up an excellent point. Only a select few would've been able to have the opportunity to tamper with such classified information.

The lipstick in the desk with the pardon letter lead me to believe the head of intelligence is legit up to no good. Period. Without one or the other, it would have been more happenstance. However, with these things together I strongly suspect she is the actual traitor. Additionally her auspisticeship between Qinlon and Zhuque I believe while "out of character" for her, was used so she could try and find a niche/way to the top when things went south. (Beyond that Stryke knows nothing else pertaining to the 3 of them~)

But, HOLD IT! I also think that Odavat Tresna and Poutzi Verela, MAYBE! are also guilty of the following crimes!
Agreement all around from Stryke from those points brought up.

Extortionist - Poutzi; (A lot of the points Kami + Sae made are exactly how I feel on the matter. I don't know if she's working with Odavat or not; I honestly don't think they are, but don't have enough clues to say conclusively one way or another if they are in on it together.)

Clue in the meeting caverns about the sharp threat of pay up or lose your protection. Unlike Errade's messy handwriting this is different; it's neat and orderly. The red metallic pen found with BLUE ink leads me to believe it belongs to the owner of this neat blue hand writing. One of the clues mentions an older red blood giving them hell. They seem to have it out for highbloods, and want to cause as much trouble as possible for them.

A baubly-horned troll was seen hassling their employees about protection from highbloods. This ties in to the previous things mentioned, including the frequent haunting in chittentown, and the code word with the same neat blue hand writing. With her frequently being seen, and the possibility she's tied to the hand written notes I have reason to believe she had the reason and motivation to act as she did.

Stealing and Selling - Odavat Tresna: Hiding the crates in plain sight, one of the oldest tricks in the book. "Customer #12 owes me for two crates" was found on a scrap of paper. The head of supplies rarely has in stock what is SUPPOSED to be readily available. He's found lugging around empty crates, despite those muscles. Recently Odavat ordered an entire huge shipment of food away because it was contaminated..I doubt it really was the case. I think he was in it to make a quick beetle.

Within a log book, here in lies more questionable evidence. Expected shipments were never dated or initialed by a receiving party, primarily on -two- specific days each week. That and a bunch of random crates tossed off in the back of the tunnels with vague labeling...he either as a serious thing with stacking crates as his nest piles, or simply put he's trying to cover his tracks. Add to t his those suspicious security tapes that correspond with two set dates during the week, and you my friend have one sneaky little s**t.

Vremea helped with the discussion, pointing out a few key details before nodding solemnly at the accusations and agreeing with the other trolls's ideas.

"You are very welcome, Stryke," Odette said, smiling back at the little yellowblood. "While I may not be so good at making accusations, I can always do my part in one way or another." She took another look through the papers, nervous that she might be overlooking something. After listening to the others speak, and keeping a close eye on Vremea, she too cast in her vote, agreeing with the other trolls before her.

Athene was mostly silent through the discussion, a little wary of the trolls around her, but did speak up to add her thoughts occasionally and to cast her vote. As far as she could tell, everything made sense and she saw little to no reason to disagree.

Quote:

Court Record

I think the troll responsible is Errade Etturi!
Why? Because: Athene agrees with everyone above, notably Odette and Vremea.

- TOLD TO AKKO ONLY: We tracked down Qinlon and were able to have a short discussion with him about what happened. While he doesn't even seem to know what happened back when the other adults died on the ships, he did admit that Errade was the one who led the accusations against him, which along with the other evidence, has allowed us to form this theory;

I also think that Odavat Tresna and Poutzi Verela, MAYBE! are guilty of the following crimes:
Athene still agrees.

Milieu watched Stryke write down the new information. She had tried to read through the documents, but felt a haze of confusion surround her. Milieu was fairly certain she was getting a cold of some sort. She copied what Stryke had wrote and smiled at the scouts in appreciation for their help and friendship.

I think the troll responsible is Errade Etturi !
Why? Because: Milieu is in agreement with well everyone else

The terrible hand writing as mentioned by the npc when describing Errade. This is a major clue connecting her.The messy writing on her reports, and secret cabinet documents. Additionally the documents that were found in the tunnel that had no business being anywhere else. Whom else would have such high clearance? This is a big red flag by my books. Along with the mess "PART 3/7" I can not over look this bit as mere coincidence.

But, HOLD IT! I also think that Odavat Tresna and Poutzi Verela are also guilty of the following crimes!
Milieu awkwardly nods and points to all the great points everyone has brought up. Look at their smart think pans. You all are getting cookies.

Recently Odavat ordered an entire huge shipment of food away because it was contaminated.

There were fewer candles lit in the meeting cavern than on the night of their first summit, and the flickering shadows danced across the walls with even more fervour. The contrast only added to the atmosphere, intensifying the sense of urgency and importance that had drawn them together to meet.

Byakko remained silently vigilant as the Initiative members each brought out their papers and began to deliberate over the matter, giving each speaker in turn her undivided attention. It seemed for the most part everyone had reached fairly similar conclusions. She hadn't expected a unanimous decision, but there hadn't been much debate to speak of at all. The troll's findings and votes all pointed to the same suspects, accused to be guilty of the same crimes.

The Initiative leader flipped through the documents the rebels had presented, sharply inhaling as she folded back the cover on the first set of files. Pouring over each page thoughtfully, her expression grew sombre as she paged through the notes. While Akko had seen some of the information first hand it was... still hard to choke down the gravity of the situation. She bit her lip, eyelids fluttering as she got to a section on Errade. A shiver ran through her body, and the stony rebel visibly trembled for the briefest of moments; the betrayal ran deeper than she ever could have imagined. Peering up at Odette, she gave the petite girl a slanted smile and appreciative nod for her significant contribution. That, together with the summary the aptly named ******** had handed over and the meeting's notes seemed to paint a clear picture: Errade Etturi was guilty.

"So... you all concur that not only is Errade responsible for the WACKY misinformation leading up to our recent capture, but also the sabotage of the previous generation of the Initiative?" Byakko marvelled aloud, verbally confirming once more that they were all in agreement. Her piercing stare trailed from face to face as she contemplated her next words.

"I suggest we take this time to discuss our next course of action. Errade must be dealt with accordingly- and immediately. I'd like this to be a matter of debate, but admittedly only to an extent. Errade, along with any other guilty parties and conspirators, may not be permitted to stay in the Phoenix Initiative." Akko shook her head lightly, squeezing her fists firmly as she spoke. How many trolls would they be left with after the guilty were uprooted? It was a difficult choice, the last one she would make on her own, but she felt it to be imperative.

"I guess the main topic of discussion would be how to approach the situation. I think it would be wise to launch investigation pertaining to the other forc-" Byakko stopped mid sentence, stiffening, turning her head towards a metal vent near the cavern roof.

The was a sudden rattling noise, and a clanking thud as metal made contact with metal. A feral growl rose from Byakko's throat in response to the hissing spitting from the vent, with it pouring thick puffs of fog that totally engulfed the meeting cavern within seconds. The rebel leader's voice urgently rang out through the blankets of smoke before her voice was drowned out by a loud hammering on the locked double doors. The wood creaked, barely able to hold off the intruders.

"Defend yourselves!"
