It was early in the morning and Yaholo was still sound asleep, his arms wrapped lovingly around his beloved Rilind. The look on his face was peaceful and comfortable, as if he were floating on a cloud, and was thus completely oblivious to the bug invaders that had entered his home. Five little Illo wriggled their way around the room in search of a warm place to roost, one in particular taking a liking to the top of Yaholo's head. However, as this particular Illo moved across Yaholo's dreads and over his forehead, the sensation of it's wiggling feet caused the Brute to stir from his slumber.
"Hnnmnn-whaa...?" Yaholo muttered, his eyes blinking against the glow of the bug in front of his eyes. Then, he sprung from his bed and began to flail. "AHHHH! NOOO! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!"

Rilind sat up with a jerk as he heard Yaholo suddenly crying out, something that had him looking around, eyes wide, expecting the worst. He was almost certain that they were being invaded by the Dretch... though instead of the terrifying monsters he didn't see them, instead it was what looked like glowing worms? He starred at Yaholo for a long moment, eyes narrowing a little, and he said, "Yaholo! It's far too early for you to be freaking out over a handful of worms!" He was sleeping, happy and peaceful, until Yaholo woke him up in such a startling manner.
Lifting a hand he rubbed it against his face, "Really, just scoop them up and throw them..." He trailed off as he turned slowly to one side, spotting something brightly color and big sitting there starring at him. Some sort of large bug and it wasn't alone, was it? No, it was here with what looked like nearly a dozen of it's friends. Instantly the redhead was on his feet, racing over to Yaholo, ducking behind him, "Yaholo get ride of those!" He cried, his hands itching for his weapons, finding that the maglardilla swarm looked far too much like the Dretch for his liking meaning that they had to go!

Yaholo pouted at Rilind's reaction and paused in his flailing long enough to peel the Illo on his face off. He gave the bug a grimace as it wiggled around in his hand and turned to throw it out of the window, just as Rilind ducked behind him. What was it now? More worms? He spun towards where Rilind had pointed and groaned. Maglardilla, really? REALLY? This early? He stepped forward, slowly as to not startle the bugs, and swatted at them.
"SHOO! SHOO! This is not where you belong!" He bellowed, swinging his hands left and right. "Out you go, out you go!"

Bugs? Really? And this many....? Here he'd thought that it was bad enough that it was raining so badly of late but now there were creatures thinking that they could just move in because of that rain? This wasn't something that was going to sit well with Ril, not in the least bit. He took a couple steps back away from the maglardilla as Yaholo set about trying to shoo them off, giving a bit of a shiver when he realized that the bugs weren't having it, "Ahh... Yaholo, maybe you should get a stick or something to push them out with?" He said in a hushed tone.
Even as he said that the maglardilla, ten of them in total, came further inside, taking up more room then he'd like. It was something that had him backing up another step before he went for his swords, grabbing hold of one of them, pointing at them, "Stay back, bugs! I won't hesitate if you come any closer to me!" He threatened them, not wanting anything more to with bugs since his run in with the Dretch. They were all the same to him, creepy and dangerous with beady eyes! He gritted his teeth, taking a step back and said, "I am starting to miss Tale, there were a lot less bugs there. I think I'd rather deal with witu then these things." The last part something he muttered mostly to himself.

A stick, right! Yaholo broke his stance against the bugs and reached around for his hammer. Another Illo was crawling along it's handle and quickly went flying to the ground as Yaholo picked the hammer up and went to stand beside Rilind again. Ugggh, these things were incorrigible! He'd already told them to go away, that usually worked when he yelled at things in the day time! Then again, these bugs were other people...
"I have to agree with you, Ril! Witu would know when to flee!" He said, taking aim at three of the Maglardilla. "Let's try herding them over to the window, maybe they'll get the message and crawl back out!"

It was obvious by the look on Rilind's face that he wasn't a bit fan of the plan to herd the bugs. It wasn't because it was a bad plan, in fact it was one that might work. It was just the fact that he didn't like bugs and didn't want to get close enough to them that they might be able to attack him. The idea of getting more scars from these bugs after he had more then enough scars from bugs, it was a bit grating. As one of the maglardilla started closer though Ril gave a hiss, taking a swing at it with his sword, "No! You're not going to get any closer then that, bug!" He snapped at it. It was something that caused the group of them to chitter at him in reply before starting toward them... at least until Yaholo took aim with that hammer of his.
The bigger man swinging his weapon at them actually caused the bugs to retreat a little, as though they knew that it would be dangerous to get too close to him. Rilind wasn't as big of a threat, it was as though they could sense his fear of them, but Yaholo was something else entirely, something else that had a big hammer that could crush them into a fine paste. It was Yaholo that put them on the defensive and even caused them to retreat a little, getting slowly herded along toward the window without really realizing it.

Yaholo watched the bugs retreat and couldn't help but smirk. That's right, he was the boss, this was HIS home and no stinking bugs were going to show him what for! He stepped forward and ushered the bugs towards the window with the edge of his hammer. The bugs seemed to get the message for the most part and follow the motion of the hammer, while some of them tried to wander around the side, knowing full well that they were being sent back out into the rain. To make matters worse, another Illo had found it's way onto Yaholo's leg which made the Brute cringe. If that thing climbed any higher...
"Eeeeeuuuggghh... Rillll." He muttered, making a distressed face. "There's a worm crawling up my leg, could you flick it off, please?"

Rilind watched the manner in which the maglardilla swarm seemed to part as soon as they got to the window, one half of the group seeming to be going in one direction while the other half went the other way. It was something that made his temper flare a little bit, finding himself thinking that he'd rather go outside in the rain if it meant that he'd be free of the bugs. Before he could even consider getting dressed properly for dealing with rain it would seem that Yaholo was in need of saving, another of the Illo seeming to be 'attacking' him out of no where.
Giving a sigh Rilind lifted a foot, moving to kick the thing off of him. It didn't' do all that much though, not when instead of going flying through the air it was suddenly sticking to his foot instead. Rilind's eyes went quite wide before he set to flailing his foot, trying to get the creature to get off of him! It was as determined as the maglardilla though as it clung to him with staunch determination. Ril could only flail about for so long before he realized that the glowing worm wasn't going anywhere, something that caused his temper to start to rise that much more, making his eyes narrow a bit as he started to flail his foot again. As he focused on the worm it gave the maglardilla the opening they needed to once more invade the room.

With the Illo "gone", Yaholo managed to usher one half of the Maglardilla out of the window and turned around to see Rilind's staring battle with the Illo. Part of him wanted to laugh at how silly he looked but he was quickly reminded of just how much he had freaked out about having one of them on his face and decided against laughing. Instead he made his way over to Ril and plucked the bug off his foot.
"I know Rilind is the most amazing human being ever created, but you can't just stick to his foot like that." He teased, moving to flick the bug out the window as he'd done with the other one. "Now, what about the other five Maglardi-"
Munchmunchmunchmunch
The Brute's gaze panned towards the bed where the remaining Maglardilla could be found chewing on the wooden bed frame and the grip on his hammer increased.
"That isn't food!" He shouted, flailing his hammer at them. "Off, off, off, OFF!"

Ril gave a snort, blowing some of his red bangs out of his eyes, "Don't think that you can win me over with compliments when you say them to a bug, Yaholo." He said, giving a little roll of his eyes. He really was a strange one he thought to himself, about to tell him as much when he heard the munching sound. It was something that had him slowly turning toward where the maglardilla were, perched on the bed that he had been sleeping on moments again, chewing on it. His eyes went wide in shock, then narrowed in anger, "Oh, that's it!"
With a fllick of his wrists he released his swords stuck into the floor at feet so he could stalk forward, passed the flailing Yaholo, grabbing hold of two maglardilla by their tails, "Get the others, Yaholo." He ordered the bigger man, dragging the other two along, throwing them bodily out the window and gave them a look that said he wasn't going to tolerate them coming back inside the house. It was a dark enough look that the creatures decided flying off to find another place to stay might be fore the best. Once he was certain at least those two weren't coming back he whirled around to check on Yaholo, to see if he had fetched the other three of them yet.

The series of events left Yaholo between flabbergasted and laughing, until he realized that Rilind was staring at him, of course. He scrambled to grab the three remaining bugs and shoved them as close as he could to the window. One tumbled out as planned and skittered away while another perched itself on the windowsill until Yaholo swatted it away. The remaining Maglardilla crawled onto Yaholo's elbow and made a series of clicking sounds, obviously displeased with how it's friends had been so rudely thrown out of a window, but fell quiet when it too was plucked up and flung out the window.
"Uuuughhh. Finally!" He groaned, placing a hand on his forehead. "Let's keep the window closed from now on. We don't want any more unwanted guests."

Rilind nodded his head as Yaholo went about closing the window, "It might be for the best." He said, moving about to look under and behind things, making sure that they had found everything that had decided invading while they slept was the best idea. Damn creatures! Did they really think that wanted to share his home, let alone his bed, with bugs! He paused a moment, shaking his head as he realized what was he had been thinking. No, that wasn't quite right, was it? This was Yaholo's home and Yaholo's bed, he was sort of invading them himself, wasn't he? He'd like to think that he was a better invader then the bugs though or else he would likely feel a bit bad he decided, making one last search before sighing, "I think that's all of them.... let's home they don't decide to try to come back. Raining or not they aren't welcome in here..."
He trailed off, went for a moment quiet, then added, "Ahh... unless you invite them in, I mean. This is your home after all." He probably shouldn't decide the rules of the house or who was allowed in or out since this was Yaholo's place. Still, surely given his reaction to the bugs he agreed? Unless it was only the wormy things he didn't like? Sighing, finding his thoughts running in circles now he felt quiet, busying himself with trying to neaten his hair, no longer quite looking at Yaholo anymore.

Yaholo followed Ril, noticing his change in mood, and wrapped his arms around Rilind's shoulders, pulling the smaller man into a snuggle.
"This is your home too, Ril." He purred, nuzzling the side of Ril's head. "I know what you're thinking, you goof, and you're very wanted. Those bugs were terrible pests and we got rid of them together. You are nothing like a pesky bug, you're my strong, brave, swordsman."
He gave Rilind a kiss on the cheek and chuckled.
"Now let's get back to bed before anything else decides to barge in and wake us up." He laughed.
