Nurina shifted and grunted as she twisted in her sleep, once again finding herself plagued with bad dreams. They didn't come often… in fact, the last time she remembered having this long a bout of nightmares had been back when she was still basically a cub. When her dreams were normal and calm she only ever saw lions she knew of from the pride… but the nightmares brought unfamiliar faces. She liked that little… she liked it less when the strangers were covered in blood or howling in pain. She twisted and jerked awake, panting frantically as she tried to remember her bearings. She moaned slightly as the images flooded into her memory, placing her paws over her head as though to try and suppress them. It was of little use so after a few moments she pulled herself to her paws and tried to shake the nightmares away.
The last time this happened it was often that the strangers' faces were just those of pride members she'd not met yet… and always it scared her near to death when she'd run into them with her mother or siblings. So now, as she padded along, it did not come as such a shock when she spotted two very familiar yet unknown faces heading her way. Her eyes still widened and her stance became slightly defensive. I know something about you that you don't know… she thought to herself, feeling slightly guilty because of it.
The two seemed not to notice her at first.. until they did. Nurina wondered what had gotten their attention when she came to the realization that she'd come to a halt and was just staring at the two strangers; A lioness kissed by dawn and a lion blanketed in dusk.

"I've told you once and I will tell you a thousand times.. I am capable of doing anything it is that you can do. Get that through your thick skull! Not to mention you are not capable of doing everything it is that I can do. In my eyes that is a clear indication of who the better lioness is." She smirked, tail giving a haughty flick as she raised her brows at her companion.
He gave his mossy mane a shake and rolled his eyes, snorting for extra measure. "You think you is so great cause you can give birth eh? Well let me tell you somethin' girlie… there is no possible way ye can do that w'out a male." He raised his brows back at her, feeling as though his counter point was enough to claim him winner of the argument. At his female companion's look he decided that no, he probably wasn't the winner. Females! Always had to have the last word, they did. He dragged his gaze away from her before he spied a yellow lioness looking their way.
Well. Staring their way, if he was being honest. His head tilted a little and his gait slowed because the stranger was stalk still watching them. Weird, what was her problem? He coughed in an exaggerated manner to get his companion's attention, since she'd been already speaking again.
Her eyes danced with light, she was clearly enjoying herself despite the angry look she'd just adopted. "You're kidding me if you think that matters any. You think mounting a female is worthy of saying you take part in the process of cub birth? Get re-" She scowled and shot him a scary look before he jerked his head and her gaze followed. She raised a slim brow but seemed to care little about the gawker. "Looks familiar, but no one I run with. Perhaps she's one of yours?" A teasing grin was offered.
He smirked a little, then rolled his eyes before shaking his head. "Not mine. You know how I hate the color yellow." The teasing look he offered her back was slightly meaner but it seemed not to effect his companion. "It is a good day to die, no?" ". Might as well speak to the stranger if she was going to stare like that, no?
She cleared her throat and began to take a step back but the male's words. Well…she couldn't just pretend she hadn't been doing anything suspicious now, now could she? She sighed quietly to herself before holding her head high and traded her gaze off between the pair. "A good day to die." She agreed then wondered, for a moment, if she should move on now?
"You look as though you've seen a ghost… do you have words for us?" Her tone was almost taunting, as though she was hopeful for an altercation.
And of course it couldn't just be simple, could it? Life was never simple.. even when it appeared to be as such. "I have no words for you." She replied back, her tone cool yet careful.
Females were such odd creatures. "Yes, but it seems ta me tha' you did look like maybe you'd seen a ghost." Ghosts… he snorted at the idea.
"No ghosts… it's just that…" She was reluctant to tell them she'd just seen them, though never before had she glimpsed upon them in the waking world. "You both are just very familiar to me, is all." That seemed like the safest route to travel.
"Well, I am very good looking and quite good at fighting."
She laughed right out loud at that, ignoring her friend's look of contempt. "And we've seen you around before, perhaps. Or maybe those of your blood?" Because she wasn't quite sure she knew this female at all.
Her gaze skittered away from the male and focused more on the female after his attempts at flirtation. She disliked males who spoke in that way. Which.. there was an abundance of them here. "I do have family here." She frowned, the guilty feeling in her gut only seeming to increase. There was only one way she knew to relieve that feeling. "Truth be told I saw you two in my dreams… nothing good will come from your union." It seemed to her that they were just friends, which was good. A warning… well, it may do good but it might do them just as harm.
Union? He shot his friend an odd look mixed of amusement and slight disdain before he focused again on the stranger. "Well funny that. Only union between us is one of endless competition I'd say. You can no have a union with this sort." He nodded to Hial, smirking. "Though if me ears were ripped from my skull and me eyes were blinded I might consider it."
Hialmdis yawned as though she found Feykir's words to be a bore, or perhaps something he said often. It was a little strange for the stranger to claim a romantic familiarity between them, but not unheard of when it came to gossip here and there. "Even worse than ugly mug is his nasty smell. I'd need my nose bitten clean off before I'd even consider sleeping with this one." She shrugged and laughed. "Even then what good would he have to offer to my blood line? Less and little." The option of them being together had come up every now and again, though both she and Feykir never paid it much mind. What was the point? She wasn't attracted to him in that manner, and that was that. "So, do we get a name from the female claiming utter doom at a very unlikely union?"
She frowned, head tilted as she eyed them. Perhaps she'd been mistaken? Her eyes lingered on the mark decorating the female's shoulder, before moving to the male's. No. These two were undoubtedly the stars of her dreams. She dipped her head lightly to the female of similar coloring to her own. "Nurina, my name." She did not ask for their names in return, did not really want to know. "We do not sow." She murmured, in way of farewell.
Before he could offer up his name and perhaps a hint of spending some time alone, despite having claimed not to like the look of her earlier, she was already turning away. "We do not sow." The response was automatic, friendly but edged with slight unease. He glanced to his companion questioningly.
"We do not Sow." She shrugged at Feykir before moving to go on her way, expecting the male to come along. "A weird encounter, that." But that would be all that was said of the meeting, as both lions silently agreed to put it out of mind.
