It's too much work to re-find the picture to this place. It was so long ago. It's basically a big, scary-lookin' mansion. 'Nuff said.

Emili Howser"Why be sad when you can be happy?" “Where here.” Emili mumbled when the car stopped at a huge mansion, sounding more like a spoiled child than anything. She hopped out to let Airy out, and opened the door. She then did the same for her mistress. Then, she opened the door to the mansion, letting the two in. At the opening of the door, a charming bell sung throughout the entire house. Emili, who, at any given moment, might break that alarming bell in half, spotted her little master running down the stairs. Except, he wasn’t really running. It was more of a jog. Or maybe a slide? No, he was walking! Now that was certainly strange. Michel never walked at the sound of the bell. No matter who it was, he would always come running almost immediately! As he approached the two, Emili noticed his eyes were a bit gloomier, too. “Hey.” Michel’s voice was also grumblier, and his stance was hunched. He turned to the boy who looked strangely familiar. The boy looked like himself! Almost a mirror. Though, he didn’t exactly match all the charming looks Michel had. “Who’s this?” He asked, glaring at the new guy. Emili was getting a bit worried. Michel had definitely not started off with a good impression to say the least.

Airy was quiet the whole trip. He was eager to see his new home, and he felt a description would not do it justice, as he had seen very little new things. When they arrived, he hopped out when Emili opened the door. she then open the door for the tall lady who had been with her at the pet shop. He hadn't spoken to her, but it seemed she'd liked him enough to buy him when Emili seemed unsure. They wen to the door which Emili opened. It produce a a beautiful bell sound that Airy enjoyed. While he spent time looking around to see where it came from, a boy had walked over to them. Airy looked the boy over. He seemed gloomy and irritable. Airy's hopes of being able to cheer up the boy were dashed as he glared at Airy.
Airy was unsure what to do so he extended a hand and smiled. "I'm Airy Aqua. The new Pet!" He smiled brightly at the boy, hoping he would smile back. "I'm so glad I'm not the only kid around!" It was true that age wise he wasn't really a kid, but that's not something you explain when you first meet. Plus he was quite sure these people thought he was human, and a stupid one at that. Of course he was stupid when it came to human things, and Master/Pet things...

MichelThe best toy is not a computer, it is a slave. Michel had not been feeling himself lately. He merely woke up like this, unaware until a friend had pointed it out. He gradually noticed the differences in his actions more and more, until it became as bright as day. But, when he went back to his usual bright, happy self, he just didn't feel right. It was really, really weird. Even though he was aware, he felt the same as he always did. Except... darker, perhaps? He hadn't the slightest clue. Human? This 'Airy' boy didn't look anything of the sort. Definitely not a child, either. Through his studies, he had figured out how to spot what type of creature one was. Dwarf? oh, no. Now he was just being silly. This boy wasn't either of those. Maybe he was some type of rare species. Michel hadn't studied the looks of those as much. But still, it was at the peak of his mind. What was this male? Siren. Oh, gosh no. He decided to discard the thought for now. It was surprising how many thoughts could go through the little head of Michel's so fast. Only a second had passed! It was quite rude to not accept the hand stretched out before himself, so he shook it, smiling politely. His stomach dropped, but he kept his stance, and smiled brighter, unextending his hand. "Oh, please. Don't call yourself that." He meant 'that,' referring to the whole 'pet' thing. No one was a pet in this house. Or at least, not to him, anyway. Emili was getting more confused by the minute. Michel never talked like that. EVER. His voice always took a childish tone to it. But not ever had it been so ...oh, what was the word... refined, she might say. He was just being so... weird!

Airy was happy when the kid took his hand, though the kid didn't cheer up any. But he did tell Airy not to refer to himself as a pet. So Airy thought for am moment. "Okay, so I'm you new friend then." He said with more confidence. He didn't know what it would take to make this kid smile, but he hoped to figure it out soon. This kids phased out, yet somehow gloomy look was getting to Airy. Much longer, and he might start to be gloomy himself.

MichelThe best toy is not a computer, it is a slave. The word 'friend' always had a happy ring to it, no matter what the context. It reminded Michel of happy things, like puppies, and laughter. Of course, thinking of those things, his eyes lit up, just am slight bit more. "Yep!" He said. After a brief moment of awkward silence, he turned to Emili. "Emili," he started, "would you like to show Airy here to his room?" He asked. Ok, so something's aligned with the world. Michel still liked friendship. His dad hadn't gotten to him... yet. Emili frowned mentally. Oh no, oh gosh no. Just, no. Spending another minute with this boy was gonna make her puke. He was just so... dumb. It drove her mad. She wanted to just say, 'No. Bug off. I'm getting outta here.' But of course, she didn't want to get out of there. Michel was the only intelligent friend she had in forever. She'd keep in touch by some magical means of some sort, but it was hardly normal to do so. "I'd love to!" She smiled. No, she wouldn't, but whatever. She turned to the dumb boy. "Shall we?" She asked politely.

Airy was relieved when the boy brighten a bit. It was nice to know that the boy could be happy. He'd need work, but at least Airy knew he was up to the task. He gave a slight nod with a smile before looking to Emili when the kid had asked her to take Airy to his room. She seemed happy to oblige, but Airy still felt like she didn't really like him. Well she probably thought he was stupid, which he sort of was. He started to follow her when he realized something. "Um..Hold on a sec..." He said to Emili before turning back to the kid. "I'm sorry, but I didn't get your name. So I don't know what to call you." He said to the boy. He was getting tired of thinking of him as the boy. And since he'd been told not to refer to himself as a pet. Master didn't quite fit.

MichelThe best toy is not a computer, it is a slave. Michel smiled back, still under the happiness spell of the whole 'friend' thing. "Michel!" He Said quiet loudly. He loved his name. He hadn't realized before how refined his name was, but now he did. He wanted to use it as much as possible. Now there was a surprise that Emili did not expect of this phase. Michel had never been so obnoxious. It was surprising. He had never shown such appreciation in 'friends' before now. Or maybe it was just his smile standing out from all his weirdness. Yeah, that was it. Uh oh, was she getting dumber? It was confirmed. The dumb boy was definitely rubbing off on her. Ugh! He was so annoying!

"Michel" Airy said to himself. The name fit the boy. It seemed...What was the word...Important? No...He'd figure it out later. Either way, he liked the name. He smiled at Michel one more time before turning to Emili. She seem a little upset, but didn't show it. He was going to have to block his ability to read people, especially with Emili. She never seemed to like Airy. "Okay Emili, we can go."

Emili Howser"Why be sad when you can be happy?" "Ok!" She kept her smile on, as she walked towards this slaves new room. Though they had been officially named pets, she knew from the days when they were slaves, and that's what she called them in her head. Except herself, of course. She was one in the middle. Secretly, of course. She was sure any one of her masters would have a fit if they found out she wasn't afraid of them. They walked up to a normal door. She opened it, and it led to a queer hallway. Each door was different. Some were even upside down. Some doors were windows. Some, were completely normal. She came up to one of those. She opened the completely normal door, and it came to a bare room. The room had bland, green carpeting, a bland, red bed, bland, blue walls, and one, bland, blue, closet. Inside the closet, would be a walk in closet, magically cursed to know exactly what type of clothing the being would feel like wearing that day. "Here we go." Emili said bluntly, and gestured in. there wasn't anyone watching, and the masters and mistresses didn't believe in having hidden cameras. She could be as blunt as she wanted.

Airy noticed, as he followed Emili, That She had dropped her polite personality as soon as the Masters were not in sight. He said nothing, because he already could tell she didn't really think highly of him. She lead him to a strange hall. It had many doors that weren't what he thought normal for humans. Some where upside down, and some were glass. Emili opened a normal looking door he was disappointed he didn't have a weird door as well.He figured that if he wanted one, he'd have to earn one. The room was really plain as well, and he wasn't sure the colors went together. There was also a door which he assumed was a closet, but he didn't have any clothes with him. "Thanks Emili" He smiled at her. He didn't expect one back. "Hey what does one have to do to get a weird door?" He asked, genuinely curious.

Emili Howser"Why be sad when you can be happy?" Of course. Of course the boy would ask such a dumb question. Though strangely, Emili didn't find herself knowing the answer. But she wouldn't let him know that. "Well, it all comes in order. Say, if you were to come before the last person, you would get this door." Or so she assumed. She pointed to a door that looked just like this one, except it was upside down and connected to the celling. "You could maybe trade with the next guy to this door," she pointed to a door that looked like a giant window, with pink fluffing on the edges, and on the handle. Emili almost chuckled at the thought that her room had once been so... pink. "But I don't think you'd want to." She smirked. It had never been decorated, so the interior was the same as the one before. Though the window displayed a fluffy pink room. But of course, that was the hallway's fault. Not hers.

Airy Shrugged, so it had nothing to do with tastes and more to do with rotation. He was cool with that. He decided to ask Emili something relevant, even though he could tell she wanted nothing more than leave. "Okay...One more question, What am I supposed to do? Like daily chores and stuff?" He asked. He figured if Emili didn't know what, she'd know who to talk to. She seemed well connected for a servant.

Emili Howser"Why be sad when you can be happy?" Another dumb question indeed. But still, Emili found herself not knowing this answer, either. She thought back. She remembered when she had first entered the mansion. Everyone was nice and welcoming to her. She didn't really remember being told to do anything, she just... did stuff. She hadn't even realized that she hadn't been told to do anything. She was just expected to. No one really did anything, unless you had an important role, such as she. She was given the role to be friends with Michel. A fairy that she had never bothered to remember the name of was the friend of Christina. The cards expert - Aiden - always helped the master of the house - Okuron - with his work. And then Lavana, the mistress of the house. She didn't have a friend, did she? Strange. Emili expected her to have one by now. Getting back to the point, it appeared Airy was to be her replacement for Michel, because Emili was getting too *sigh* mature. But it seemed that Michel was getting mature as well, and everyone else just wanted him to stay young. She could always try and pull some strings to get Airy to become a test subject for one of Michel's experiments. She remembered the day. So many had lost their dignity. It was a gruesome sight. Yes, that's what she would do. Emili put on her saddest look. "I believe that most rare species such as yourself, are put under testing, and ultimately turned into another, rarer species." Though this was not true in most cases. Most were put into an uncanny death. Hopefully Airy wouldn't see that in her eyes. If he did, she'd have to go to plan B. She didn't know what plan B was yet, but she'd think of one soon enough.
