Brisk rode high in the air, enjoying the cold and being one with this part of her nature. Today was an unusual day, for she was meeting with a friend of hers that was opposite her kind. Syndaria was an unusual friend, but they enjoyed their conversations together and were great friends. Apparently today was more unusual because Syn had mentioned she had a surprise in store for her. Syn wasn't necessarily a secretive sort, for she was passionate, and allowed her emotions to sway her decisions, which, Brisk reflected, was why they were friends. Brisk was the logical, calm reflection while Syndaria was the explosive, straightforward energy. Spotting a familiar figure, Brisk slowly descended from the icy clouds of the current winter until she landed ever gracefully. "Syndaria, darling. How are you? It's been too long," she greeted with a smile. Syndaria almost jumped in surprise when Brisk landed in front of her, but she managed to keep from whipping her cool friend with her fiery tail. With a wide smile, Syn said, "Brisk! I'm so happy to see you! You're right, it's been forever since the last time we saw each other. I'm doing great, how about you? I bet you're just loving this weather!" The cold didn't bother Syn that much, but she still preferred warmer days than cooler days. Still, this was why she got along with Brisk. Though they were opposite in nature, they got along just fine. Syndaria was excited to introduce her brother to Brisk, though she wasn't positive the two would get along... Or,, she thought to herself, Maybe something more will happen. Rythen's been by himself for too long anyway.

Stretching his body out sluggishly, Rythen mentally sighs to himself as his sister bugged him earlier during the day to come out and meet her at this particular spot but he honestly don't feel like moving at all because its really cold (at least to him) so all he wanted to do is.. sleep. His flaming tail flares up more to keep the large male warm as he spreads his strong wings and takes off into the air, flying toward the spot his pesky sister instructed him to be there at 'this particular time or your a** is will be dead'. When it comes to his sister, Rhythen couldn't really say no to her because she's the only family he had.
"That annoying female.." He quietly says to himself as he approaches the spot and to his surprise, there is another jokoa there and he bares his fangs little bit in annoyance, not liking the fact that her sister is fraternizing with lower species. With few flaps of his wings, he lands down beside his sister, his sapphire blue eyes eyeing the blue female with barely veiled disdainful look before he looks over at his sister. "Hello there, Syndaria. Why have you brought me here and...." His eyes flicks back to Brisk. "Why is that thing here too?"

Brisk was startled when a surly if handsome Ulaya landed in front of her. He looked a lot like Syn, though his glare could use a bit of work. "I take it that this was the surprise you mentioned the last time we met?" She smiled at the stranger Ulaya, but kept her distance. He seemed ready to lash out if she so much as moved an inch. She ignored his comment that she was a supposedly lesser species. Syndaria would set her brother straight. Brisk didn't care to trade insults. They never bothered her, and she felt they were a waste of time. She lay down and relaxed, almost to mock the new Ulaya, and merely grinned at him. "Why, hello there, handsome. I'm Brisk." Okay, so she couldn't help introducing herself anyway.
"Rythen! That's my friend! And she's not a "thing" she's a Jokoa just like us!" Syndaria scolded her brother. They were fraternal twins, but nonetheless, Rythen didn't like anything to bother him. Sometimes she had to resort to threats such as cutting off his tail or tearing off his wings to make him do anything. She sighed. "Brisk. I'm sorry for his behavior. This is my brother, Rythen. He's always like this, so just ignore his grumpiness." Syndaria snuck an evil glare at her brother, but grinned when Brisk simply did what she usually did: just relaxed and ignored the negative issues. Brisk was so laid-back that Syndaria sometimes wondered if anything ever made her angry. Still, Rythen didn't know that Brisk controlled part of the weather; Brisk could easily make the cold weather colder... after all, her friend's specialty was making blizzards... when she was angry.

Rythen's eyes slides over to the blue female that calls herself Brisk and he gives her an once over before promptly ignoring her while staring at his twin sister in sheer annoyance, obviously not pleased to be here at all. "She's not like us, Syn and she never will be. She might be a jokoa like us but she's below us." He says in quiet and controlled voice as the flame on his tail flares up to counter-combat against the chilly weather. "Grumpiness? You know I don't go out when it is cold like this." He growled his protest out as he noted the evil glare aimed toward him.
Noting that Brisk didn't react to his grumpiness and just simply settled down in relaxed manner, Rythen was secretly impressed with her facade but at same time, irritated because a lot of jokoas cowered whenever he flew or strolled by but this one isn't. "So why am I here again, Syn?" He glares at his sister fiercely, not amused with her latest antics.

Brisk tucked her wings neatly behind her and played a bit with her tail, trying to smooth out loose hairs. She was quite interested in why Rythen seemed to think she was below him, but then again, she had met a few other Jokoa in her time that thought of others like that. She knew that the gods of the Jokoa thought that way, but she tried not to associate with them. "Perhaps it would help you to be kinder if I took away the cold," she offered on a whim. She preferred the cold, but she could tell Syn and Rythen were uncomfortable. She began to call the winter to her, at least in this area. She could not outright control the season, but she could affect the area around her well enough. Jokoa within her vicinity could feel temperatures below zero or she could at least make it comfortably cool, which she was attempting to do now.
"You're here because I wanted you to meet Brisk!" Syndaria snapped a little. "And she's not below us! YOU can't control the weather like her! Look, doesn't it feel warmer already!?" Syndaria flared her own tail in annoyance and tucked her wings around her to keep her a bit warmer. "You're here because I'm asking a favor from Brisk... and from you, Rythen. I'm lonely. I want more family. I haven't met the right male yet, and knowing you, you're to scare almost all of them away. So..." Syn paused and looked at Brisk with pleading eyes. She knew she was using her friend. but Brisk was a pretty benevolent kind of Jokoa in her own right, and could always be counted on. Still, Syn knew she might be asking far too much of her dear friend.
