If there's one place on base full of truly organized chaos it's the intelligence office. You'll find books on this or papers on that- but don't get too touchy, some of it is off limits if you don't have the right clearance! The walls are lined with bookcases stuffed full of files about current and past events, notable figures, and the rebel's general operations. The trolls working here might seem a bit flighty, definitely a little difficult to pin down, but they know more than most and aren't afraid to think outside the box. If you can get them to listen, they could probably offer you some pretty dang sage advice.
The room itself is crowded, but comfortable, and rightfully quiet. It's almost like a library, if you can get past the heavy seriousness of war plans and weaponry schematics lining the walls instead of the usual pleasant paintings. Perhaps it's not a place to dawdle unless you're seeking something specific...

HOW TO PLAY
Teams can roll (1d6) to search for clues and expend a stamina point, either in the same location or in two different locations, using the form below. All trolls must search the same room as their teammates during each individual session. Please double check that you're in correct room before rolling.
Once you've rolled, you can check the chart (see spoiler) for your discovery. If you've landed a clue roll, your clue will be PMed to you at the end of the day. Please do not share clues in a public setting, but be sure to hang onto all of them and share them privately with your group!
You are free to respond to the mini-prompts you receive in this thread as well as roleplay. Landing on an NPC roll will trigger a short walk-by, which could give you even more hints, and will be posted in the room thread it was activated in. It can also be reacted to via RP, and other teams who rolled that day in the same location can witness it. Keep your eyes peeled and remember, the more you RP, the more you can search!
Reaching 200 words of RP per teammate in the ORP or any LOCATION thread will grant each team member an extra stamina (1 extra per location/orp for a maximum of 7 total throughout the entire game). Please quote the mule when each team member has met the requirement in any given thread. You may continue to RP in any room thread even after your rolls are complete. Additionally, at any given time during the week of gameplay, your Team Leader may quote the mule and grant your entire team 1 extra stamina, but only once.
Each day a mule post will be done in each location thread declaring the start of the next day. Your teams stamina fully recharges, and the prompt encounters in a thread may change.
The last day to roll is the 18th!

You inspect a pile of newpapers neatly stacked in a corner. Nothing too interesting, it just seemed like a collection of various dates of the commonly available print, the same you could get at your local inconvenience store. Hey, there's last years Bloodfest!

They found the room easily enough, and at once Zeffer could tell that it was the sort of room someone like him didn't belong in. The quiet atmosphere was like a punch to the face, and he clamped his jaw shut as his eyes darted around, avoiding the looks they received as they poked inside. Truth be told, his entire body was still vibrating with the energy of the meeting they'd been in not more than an hour or so ago, and it was hard to contain himself, hard to focus again...but he had to try. Sucking in a deep breath, he reminded himself that it was no simple game they were playing; they were after the traitors who'd nearly gotten them killed.
Hey, that stuff looked promising, didn't it? Zeffer shifted over towards a shelf, one of the few spots that was free of other working rebels. He didn't really want to get in anyone's way and risk getting them all kicked out, so it seemed like a fine option...until a tealblood shot in from nowhere to glare up at him sternly and inform him of his lack of clearance. "Oh, uhh, right. Sorry." He lifted his hands up in resignation, before retreating back behind Aprife, his face hot. At least he would be better equipped to deal with them. Smiling sheepishly, he shrugged, and looked around, trying to see what else they could do.

After the debacle in the meeting room, the quiet atmosphere was a goddamn paradise to the greenblood. The walls spanned a plethora of information, each troll present working away eagerly and diligently... he relaxed somewhat, though his posture remained ridged and his arms crossed. Even if he was calmed, he wouldn't let his outward appearance give the insinuation that he had let his guard down.
Ironically enough, his eyes were drawn to the same documents as Zeffer, and he couldn't help but give a sarcastic hmph sort of laugh under his breath, bringing a hand up to cover his mouth as he side eyed the two. Leave it to the moron to make a fool out of himself. At least watching the dipshits interacting was a small form of entertainment.
"Oh please," Muerte started, drawling sardonically, "Let someone qualified handle this sort of business." He quickly made his way towards the same files and thusly the same tealblood who (rightfully so) was looking quite agitated with the situation.
He couldn't even get the words out before he too was booted from the shelf, the group now earning a murder of annoyed, irked stares rather than a few.
Muerte bristled petulantly, arms recrossed as he slouched into himself, a storm brewing behind thick glasses and fluffy hair. He would not let these imbeciles make him fool! Him! Muerte Perist! He would not be the moron! He seethed and spat to himself incoherently, voice thankfully but a self inward murmur as a hand reached up to fidget with his cravat; how dare they.

The low, exceedingly quiet buzz of work in this room appealed to Aprife the very moment they walked through the door. It was comfortable, it felt like a place he surely could belong, were he given the chance. Unfortunately, now wasn't the time for settling in. They were still on duty, but... he couldn't help breathing in their surroundings as the other two stepped away. It all made him feel so alive.
Okay, okay, he shouldn't let himself get sidetracked, though there was still a lopsided grin on his face. Taking a few steps after his teammates, he found himself just in time to witness not one, but two sorry sights, one after the other. At least Zeffer had been relatively graceful with his rejection, and Aprife brushed the backs of their hands together when he drew close. It was to be expected, just because they were on a mission for the Initiative itself, that didn't mean they wouldn't be faced with setbacks.
Muerte, on the other hand entirely, made a right fool of himself, and the yellowblood was trying so hard not to snicker. Sorry, buddy, but it was a deserved boot. Stepping up, he tried to urge an extremely broody Tete off. There was much more ground to cover, still here even, if they wanted. The tealblood, looking understandably riled, began their spiel, but Aprife hardly took the time to listen.
"Yeah, okay, sorry, heard you the first two times. I wasn't planning on rifling through your secret stash, calm down." To his teammates, he muttered, "Hey, let's search over that way."

While poking around the Intelligence Office, you flip through some files about Qinlon Aoguan, the previous leader of the rebellion. A greenblood steps over to you, poking their long nose over your shoulder. "Yanno, it's common knowledge 'round 'ere that someone betrayed the Initiative back when our ships were launched into space. Sure, everyone up there choked anyway, but from down 'ere on our fancy dohickeys we could see that the first damage to the ships wus taken from somewhere that didn't make any sense given the situation." They wiggled their fingers in your direction ominously. "Planted bombs? That's my theory, anyway. And that Qinlon 'imself did it, the sneaky b*****d." The greenblood scrunched his face in distaste. "But that's all speculation. Over n' done wit, aye?"

Blessedly for his teammates, Muerte found himself agreeing with Aprife for once, over eagerly to get the hell out of the current area so he could hide his shame. Not that he was ashamed, of course. Simply irked.
Mortified. The words of the greenblood near by was at least a welcomed distraction, even though he had no knowledge or consideration for this Qinlon fellow he was talking about. The name was foreign to him, and it probably would always be. At least, Muerte wasn't planning on sticking around the base after this detective montage was over.
Quick to busy himself, the ruffled scientist began looking elsewhere, through files and folders and...
Ah hah! It was as if his humiliation had never occurred, all feeling easing out of his body as he stood there in triumph now. "I do believe you'll both want to have a look at this..." He says, smugness returning to his voice. Where on alternia would his teammates be without him?

This was me I'm so sorry. :'33333 We found a clue...
Normally, Aprife loved gossip. Tonight, it wasn't overtly helpful, if only because whether or not it was true was certainly left to chance. Okay, the yellowblood still loved gossip, to say otherwise would be a blatant lie. On the edge of his mental seat, he waited for the kicker, and it sure was delivered. The previous leader, a traitor to the cause? If it was true, it sure wouldn't be something that went over well. He'd reserve true judgement for now, but it still got his blood pumping nonetheless.
Now was the perfect time to power through another round of searching, and hell, Aprife was only bolstered when Tete found something. They'd been doing well, he thought, the three intrepid sleuths and their chocolate bar companion. "You'd be right, Muerte." He was laughing, despite the greenblood's obvious self-satisfaction. "I'm thinking you're not the only one who found something, though."

The next night has begun. All teams stamina is restored back to 2 points, (with the exception of bonus stamina, which rolls over to the next day if it haven't been used!)

The intelligence office was exactly what Athene expected it to be, to be perfectly honest. Crowded, quiet, and just a touch uncomfortable concerning all the other trolls in it. It was Athene's element to be perfectly honest, thriving in the atmosphere to take time to observe the somewhat flighty adults. Like, was that redblood over there, was he making eyes at the yellowblood? What about the troll in the corner? She couldn't make out their blood color, but she was certain they were trying to hide something. A smirk crossed her face, hidden by a book she was glancing at and trying to get information from, but it dropped quickly as she took a look back down at the words. This was getting her nowhere and with a sigh, she put the book back where she assumed she had found it, time spent in Vremea's library teaching her that it was the right thing to do.
Just barely seconds after she had placed it, a yellowblood came over and put it in the correct spot with an irritated hiss. Athene's face remainded neutral, but she gave the yellowblood an eye as they walked away. A shrill rude! resounded in her mind and she turned tightly on her heel, back to Odette and Vremea. She was now thoroughly irritated and in no mood to mess in the area any longer.

Zeffer's eyebrows shot up as one of the intel officers stepped over to chat, and listened attentively. Even if he was s**t at sniffing out clues, the least he could do was to pay attention and try to file away any details. "Wow." He whistled as the greenblood concluded, and wondered if it were really true. How messed up would that be though? At least they wouldn't have to worry about Akko ever doing a thing like that. Glancing over at Aprife, he waggled his eyebrows playfully before wandering back closer to him and Muerte.
"s**t. You guys are good." He reached up to scratch behind one of his horns as he gave a quick look at what his teammates had found. Huddling up behind Aprife, he scanned the documents over his shoulder, and felt his good humor drain away for a moment with a scowl. "Bullshit..." He huffed, and set his chin on Aprife's shoulder. "This is pretty ******** up. Can't believe no one caught it. Maybe we're after more than one culprit here." He mused in a low tone, glancing around slowly. Like Aprife, the new information they'd found bolstered his resolve. "We should move on, there's a lot we haven't covered yet." They'd found quite a bit in the Intel Department, and something told the blueblood they'd need higher clearance to access much else.

Vremea was all too eager to read more information on the things the organization had done prior to their recruitment. She had wandered a bit, leafing through documents, picking up little bits of information with each flip. What a shame... This Zhuque fellow seemed like quite the nice guy. The old leader seemed to be one hell of a speaker, and a nice guy to boot. Vremea felt a little sad he wasn't around now.
Her eyes slid over a few more pages of information before looking up and seeing a shelf that seemed jam packed with information. She strided over to the shelf, delicate hands about to touch a file— when a troll suddenly stood in between them. She listened to his words, lips curling into a frown and crossing her arms indignantly. She sighed and turned away— she supposed not everything was something she could look over.

Maybe if she waited a little and then went afterward... After the tealblood stepped out for a bit, Vremea quickly rushed to it— only to be stopped again. To this, Vremea left the room. She was feeling just as Athene had— a little irritated. Then again, she did need to respect it while they were still there. Maybe a lot later, when the tealblood left for sure...
