Of The Epidemic
I didn't really think about it but sure that sounds fine XD

It was truly a rare day. The bitter cold had given way briefly, the sun had peeked out of the haze of clouds that had covered the sky for months now. It seemed as if spring was trying to cut through winter, though there were still weeks of the cold season left. Taranis knew a day like today was rare, and in all likelihood tomorrow would bring more bitter winds and gloomy skies. But that is tomorrow. Today is a day of sunshine, of relative warmth - and of endless opportunity.
The large male had descended upon this rocky outcropping what seemed only moments ago, though he knew otherwise. He had found it dry, open enough to stretch out his wings completely, and just below there was a waterfall that provided him a calming tune for his enjoyment. He knew that he had dozed off and had probably been sleeping a while, but only because suddenly he found himself awake and staring down another male.
It took a moment for both the drowsiness of being suddenly awoken and the shock of someone sneaking up on him to wear off. In that time he took in the other male, colorful, cheerful, a non-threatening posture. Taranis was thankful he hadn't been caught unawares by a rival of any sort. He had no doubt he would prevail in any fight, but he simply did not want to face that sort of humiliation.
A slow smile spread across his face as he greeted the ulaya before him. "It was an unintended nap, so you do me a favor in waking me." His eyes bored into the other male, seeming to look into his very soul. Taranis folded his wings against his sides casually, his movements graceful and deliberate. "This is quite a climb I'd imagine. How did you manage it?" He'd picked the spot for its access to the sun, yes, but felt secure in that it was a difficult climb and anyone coming from above would cast a shadow upon him.
