Stretching his wings a bit he walks around not sure he'll meet anyone out here. So far he hasn't found anyone to talk to just yet since it's gotten cold over the past few days. Maybe the Winter is keeping the others from going too far away from their homes. Either way he must keep looking for his Parents until he finds them one day. So till then he walks over to a stream then he lays down to watche the water go by while snow starts falling down. So he watches as the snow flakes float down the stream un-melting because of how cold the stream is. With a sigh he tucks his wings in then waits to see if it will snow more.

He pranced through the old, trodden down snow like a colt, his tail swishing to and fro, skating along the crunchy surface of the white crust. Pupilless eyes gazed skywards as he tried to catch a couple of snowflakes on his tongue, kalona wings flaring out as he leapt into the air with the grace of a cat, only to land and dance along the ground once more. It was a big game to him--life was merely a game he was playing. The tiny angel wings at his feet flickered and shivered from the cold, pressing against his legs, at the way his fetlocks collected balls of snow. He grinned a wide, fanged grin as he pounced again. Then, as if he heard something, he tossed his head, nostrils flared, and sidestepped away from an invisible predator...despite Ciaran himself being a big, bad kalona. He snorted again, frosty puffs coming from his nostrils, and that's when he saw a bright splash of color touched by darkness on the white landscape. Ears pinning, he skulked a bit closer, head tilted to one side and then the other as he took the other stallion in. What...was that THING in the middle of his forehead? "Are you a demon?" he asked, voice hushed, violet eyes growing wide. So maybe his father had sheltered him a little, but he'd never in his life seen one of those horns...

Sir Sleet didn't hear anything around him seeing as he was too content on staring at the snow flakes passing by him. So when he heard this hushed voice he became startled then tried getting up only to have his front legs slip under him while his face lands in the frigid stream water. Slowly getting up he shakes the water off then looks over at this very different looking Soq. He'd never seen anyone that looks like him before though he hadn't meet too many others while growing up in the Knight's school. Smiling a bit confused he tilts his head to the side then replies, "Demon? I've never heard of any such creatures before in my entire life." Then shaking his head a bit more he looks straight at him, "I'm a Uni-Wind Half-breed, just like my Parents are, or were. I'm not too sure if they are alive or not so I'm traveling the world to try finding them"
Looking around to see if there is anyone else he then turns his attention back to him, "I'm Sir Sleet Storm, my Parents had storm names so they gave me one as well. And of course our last name is Storm so it all fits in some strange way. Either way, I am a Knight and I swore to Protect anyone that needs Protecting." Looking up at his horn he realizes that it would look strange to someone that has never meet someone with his sort of horn before. Then he looks down at the little wings he has, "Why, I have never seen such small wings before. Are they cold? They appear to be huddled against you." He can't help but to stare at them in awe, he's seen others with wings on their backs though no where else. And defiantly never that small.

As the dark-pelted “demon” jumped and struggled to his feet, Ciaran bounced back, swift as a cat, with a low hiss. His ears flattened against his head, then pricked forward again, eyes watching with an eerie stillness. “Oh…” If he wasn’t a demon, then…he should be safe, right? He looked down at his own lack of shadow, thanks to the cloud cover above and the snowflakes falling down to grace them with their soft tininess. Ciaran blew out a low breath, then curiously circled the uni-wind stallion, sniffing at his feathered wings with no care for personal space. “I like them. They smell like the cold,” he said, smile quirking his lips up. “I’m Ciaran. I don’t have a last name… Do I need one?” He hesitated, then shrugged and flicked his tail back and forth, looking back at the tiny winglets. “Those are baby-wings for my feet. They’re cold,” he said with a small laugh. He picked up a back leg and one of the tiny wings unfurled. “I don’t know where they came from, because my parents don’t have them. They’re afraid of the demons too…” Glancing over his shoulder, he put his foot back down. He tilted his head to one side. “Can you protect me from the shadow?”

He stands still not sure what to do other then wait to see what he does. So when he starts walking around him, Sleet stands tall while sternly stopping his hooves not appreciating that this other has no thought for personal space. Yet he does not move an inch from his spot because he is not a threat. He's just making him feel so very uncomfortable and annoyed. When the other speaks he freezes like a statue, "Um, thank you. I like them as well, though never knew they smelt like the cold." His muscles tighten since he's become horribly uncomfortable and shy at such a complement? When he finally gives his name Sleet Smiles a bit then bows his head, "Hello Ciaran, it's nice to meet you. And you don't need a last name, just both my Parents have a last name. Well my Father had the last name so Mother took the last name after they become Life Mates. So when they had me I was given the last name."
Tilting his head at the baby wings as he called them then looked back up at him, "So is everyone in your family afraid of these Demons?" Blinking a few times he then asks, "Excuse me, what is this shadow you need protection from? I always like learning a bit about the thing or creature I am protecting someone from. That way I know if I can help or not, or how helpful I can be. As well as find ways to defend the other as best I can from what they need protection from." He'd never heard of Demons or this shadow, though Dragons he has heard of from the Knight school he went to.
