Adam was sitting on the ground invisible he had been tailing a old
man all day waiting for him to keel over and die sense it was his time
Adam hoped he could wait till the old man was asleep to take his soul
but as busy as this guy is he doubt he could do that." Come on already
dang it show signs of you dying...." Adam thought and yawned as he
watched the old man point to some bread and dinner roll.

Esper ran inside the shop and jumped over the counter. He hid behind the baker and shivered, his hair dripping with water. "That was not a hot spring. I can't find it, you know? I looked everywhere. And I stink!" He said to the baker. "I wish upon a star that I can get clean soon. Ew." Esper plugged his nose and then went into the back to pick out a few fresh buns. He began to eat one and stared at the spot Adam was in. He squinted his eyes and then looked away, shrugging.
He had no shoes on and was covered in splots of dirt and barely had a visible face because of all the mud. He'd been training super hard. He just couldn't seem to get his portals to stay open long enough. Not to mention he almost got kidnapped to be the King's joker. His hair made him quite a commodity.

Adam saw the old man started to cough and grip his chest and signed
as he stood up and walked over to the old man." It's about time...
"Adam said and Adam's hand went into the old man's back and
when he pulled his hand out he had what looked like the old man only
white and started to pull the soul seemed to stretch as the soul slowly
came out of the old man.

Esper walked to the door and looked back at the old man in his dying state. His interest slowly faded as he pushed open the door and left the bakery. Maybe he'd have better luck asking someone from the weapons shop about the hot spring. Esper made his way onto the streets and passed by a couple people.
He finished the rest of the bun in his hand after leaving, when two guys started to follow him. Esper tried not to let it worry him.. But that was difficult considering the two guys were snickering and laughing.
Esper turned around after a few minutes of taking the annoyance and was met with a hand to his face. The other guy grabbed him by his hair and drug him behind a building.
He couldn't fight back now because most of his cosmic energy hadn't recovered. The guys demanded he give them all his money, but truthfully he had none. Of course the bandit guys didn't believe him and held a knife to his throat.

After Adam saw the old guy's life and how he lived it he determined he
should go to Heaven and let the soul go the baker was shaking the old
guy trying to wake him up and asking if he was okay. Adam took his leave
and left and then felt impending doom on another soul and walked down
the ally way where Esper had been taken. Adam looked over at Esper
too see his expiration date and noticed it wasn't for quite awhile but then
again the dates change so he could be sure but still it wasn't his time to
go so with the shadows surrounding the men he took and
transformed the shadows into wolves with red eyes they were growling
and barking at the two men and inched closer to them with each step.

Esper looked over to the side and saw the same guy from before. Or he sensed him, not really seeing him very well. Once the guys saw the wolves they started to back off and run in the other direction. Esper felt his neck and gulped. It stung like he'd gotten cut a bit. His eyes wondered back over to the God. "Was that you? Did you summon those?" He let out a breath and tried to regain his composure. Esper probably looked like some orphan with no place to belong. His dirty clothes and ratted hair. Why the hell did that guy save him.. or did he?

Adam looked at the boy and was a bit surprised that he could see
him." You can see me?" Adam asked even though the answer was
obvious. Adam didn't wait for an answer and just nodded." It's just
simple shadow manipulation...But yes it was me." Adam explained to
him as he made the shadow wolves turn back to their original shape."
I'm surprised he's even talking to me..I'm not use to this..." Adam
thought looking off to the side.

Esper smiled and walked over to him. "Thanks. I was almost out of luck. I must have been in the stars favor today." He kept at least three feet between them, because Epser knew he needed to wash and get new clothes. "So, I was wondering.. Do you know where the hot spring is? Everyone talks about it but no one will give me a good enough description of where it is." He suddenly got a weird feeling, like maybe he needed to repay the guy. "Are you hungry? I can buy you some dinner. Or maybe we can meet up later tomorrow in town and I can get you something." Esper smiled brightly and rocked back on his heels as he held his arms behind him.

Esper's eyes widened as he examined Adam in color and stuff. He wanted to feel his hair, he'd never seen someone with hair so dark before. "Yes, please! I left my bag by the entrance. The big rock right before the streets start, yeah that one." He noticed that Adam had avoided his offering, but he shrugged it off. "Oh! Nice to finally meet you. I'm Esper Star. H-Hoshi, I mean. So what are you? How'd you get to this pla-- I mean, who's your parents? No, wait. Don't answer that." He ran to catch up with Adam, soon walking next to him. "I'm just curious about you that's all. Tell me anything you like and I'll listen. I woke up in a crater one day and the first thing I saw was the stars.. I do a lot of Zodiac readings and I also like to study the stars." He kept talking and talking and talking. He had no one to talk to while he was training or while in town. People looked at him weird, not sure if he was a fairy or something else.

Adam was quiet there for awhile till he finally decided to answer him. He
was quite surprised by how much Esper was talking not that he minded
sense no one ever talks to him" I'm a god...I was left on my own when I
was five so I don't know who my parents are and do you always talk this
much?" Adam asked not meaning it in a bad way and hoped it
wouldn't come a crossed like that.

Esper shook his head and dirt fell out. He smiled awkwardly. "Nope! I just haven't been able to get anyone to listen to me." Esper ran ahead of Adam and went to the end of the street. He went behind the rock and came back with his bag over his shoulder and a huge conch shell in his other hand. "See this? I tripped over it while I was out in the forest. The weird thing is there are no beaches or large bodies of water nearby. So I asked myself why would there be a shell here. I bet, that a lonnnnnng time ago this place was covered with water. Like a loooong time ago." He stomped his foot on and ground and pointed to it.
He climbed on top of the rock and looked around. "Not to mention how much sedimentary rock can be found around caves and big cliffs near here. The water could very likely piled it on for millions of years until it was all washed away. This planet is very interesting, you know?" To some people of the age, his futuristic outlook and knowledge of things would just make him seem like a weirdo.

Adam looked to the side it made sense that the planet might of been
covered in water sense it seems this planet is mostly made up of water
at least it seemed that way with the places he's been." I guess that
makes sense." Adam said looking back at him and then pointed to
the forest." It's in this forest ...Travels tend to avoid this place cause a
lot of people die in this forest for instance if a hunter goes in hunting for
food their never seen again...Some says the gods that live in this
forest despises travels and kill any that enter their land...At least that's
the rumors going around." Adam explained shrugging like it was no
big deal to him.

Esper jumped down from the rock and started to walk toward the forest, but then he stopped. "Oh, yeah. I don't know where it is." He turned and waited for Adam. He was slightly disturbed by the things Adam mentioned about the hunters. But he felt at ease because he'd been in the forest, practicing his portal making. He planned on gathering back his energy once clean. "I'm going to repay you somehow, okay? I mean for saving me back there." Esper adjusted his bag over his shoulder and then smiled.
