I also go by Cody, Elliot, and even Ace as well, the reason for that last one being that it's the word you get when you put all three of my initials together~ I am a boy of eighteen years, with naturally blonde hair and sky blue eyes. And while's it's been quite some time since I last actually celebrated a birthday, mine is on the 12th of December. I measure out to about five foot nine in height, and weigh at least one hundred forty-five pounds~ As far as my preferences go when it comes to romance, I tend to lean more towards girls, though I'm pretty open to experimentation with other boys as well~ It's best to try and keep an open mind, you know?

I was born on the 12th of December in a quaint little town on the beautiful piece of land we call Five Island in the Sevii Islands near the Kanto Region. Our community may have been small, but our love for our families, our friends, and our neighbors made up for everything else. I was raised to be polite and kind to anyone and everyone I meet, no matter if I know them or not, and I was taught to always look on the bright side of every situation I come across, no matter how grim. However, if there's one thing that every Five Islander knows how to do best, it's looking after themselves as well as their own, and we can be surprisingly tenacious and hardy when we have to be. We fight to protect what we love and who we love, no matter the cost to ourselves, and when a Five Islander goes into 'Serious Mode', that's when we truly mean business. Most of what I know was taught to me by my mother, who was a Pokemon Trainer turned Breeder after she had retired from her worldly journeys. I learned all about Pokemon, their purposes in our world, and how to train and breed them from her. She told me that a Pokemon's disposition and actions were dependent on what kind of trainer they had, and that Pokemon were only evil if they had been trained that way by their owners. I vowed that when I would be able to have Pokemon of my own that I would cherish and love them as if they were a part of my family, and I would never mistreat or abuse them for any reason. My father ran a Pokemon Daycare of sorts as his way of helping my mother with her hobby of breeding Pokemon, and as such gave me plenty of opportunities to work alongside Pokemon up close, and learn how to bond with them over time. My favorite Pokemon of all was Daguerro, a Jolteon who had been with my mother for nearly every step of the journeys she took when she was younger, and acted as a sort of pet to us after she retired from being a Trainer. He would always accompany me whenever I went out into Five Isle Meadow to play and hone my artistic skills, and was always there to comfort me whenever I needed to have someone by my side to ease my fears or protect me from danger. I still miss him, so very much... Unfortunately, as it should be expected, all good things in life come to an end sooner or later. For me, that began when a small syndicate of Team Rocket arrived unexpectedly on the island, and erected that unsightly warehouse in the meadow that they filled up with Pokemon captured from all over Kanto and Johto. The presence of the Rocket Warehouse destroyed the natural state of the meadow, and disrupted the peace that had dominated over Five Island for so long. All of the island's citizens complained passionately about it, we all knew about Team Rocket's motives and goals, what they did to Pokemon that they captured in the wild or stole from other trainers... That they would dare to invade the island we called home and set up that abominable structure was a crime and an outrage. Even still, I never stopped going to the meadow even after it had been built, hoping that the problem would be able to resolve itself in due time. And sure enough, the Rockets left the island almost as quickly as they had come, though the warehouse still stood in Five Isle Meadow, now having seemed to become a permanent scar on the face of the island. Oddly enough, that unsightly warehouse had been where I had acquired my very first Pokemon, one that I was able to actually own and take care of myself. After the warehouse had been cleared of any captive Pokemon, there had strangely been a single lone Pokemon still remaining within. A Cyndaquil, wracked by a severe accumulation of bruises and scars and debilitating malnutrition, apparently too weakened in its state to have been able to escape with the rest, and was left behind. I took it home with me, nursed it back to health over the course of several days, and was allowed to keep it with me with my mother's permission. I named him Rocket, in respect to his strong will and determination that had allowed him to survive long enough for me to find and help him, and he became my first Pokemon partner once he had made a full recovery from his weakened condition. Once I became at least eleven years old, I set out to travel to regions far away from home, with my faithful partner and brother, Rocket, at my side. During my journey, I captured and trained more Pokemon along the way, building a strong team over the years as I traveled between regions. Despite spending so much time traveling, I always made sure to return to Five Island to visit my family on various occasions. My mom even gave me Daguerro as a present for my fourteenth birthday, so that the Jolteon I had loved since childhood would always be with me wherever I went. Little did I know, however, that our troubles had only begun after the Rockets had abandoned the warehouse years back. Around my sixteenth birthday, as I was returning to my home to celebrate this milestone in my life with my family and friends, I noticed strange activities going on in the meadow near town. People dressed in darkly colored clothing were moving things in and out of the old Rocket warehouse, but they were not from Team Rocket themselves. I soon learned that these suspicious folk, who apparently called themselves Team Void, had been setting up shop in the warehouse for the past couple of weeks before my arrival. As suspicious as we were of them, we didn't consider them to be of any immediate threat towards us at the time. Oh, how wrong we were... On the actual day of my birthday, I awoke to the noise of what sounded like several choppers outside the house, and was immediately greeted with the sight of Team Void members capturing and detaining the island's citizens. When they came for my family, my mother and father told me to run away as quickly as I could while they held off the invaders for as long as they could. Reluctant as I was, anguished by my parents' willingness to sacrifice their own safety for my own, I took their advice and fled from the island by means of my Skarmory, Razor. I truly wanted to go back to help my parents, but with helicopters at our heels, we had no other choice but to keep running. We shook them off of our trail quickly enough, and soon arrived in Vermilion City after days of nearly continuous travel. Shaken by the tragedy that had befallen my home, and determined to rescue both my parents as well as the citizens of Five Island that were now in Team Void's custody, I spent the next couple of years training myself and my team to become stronger in order to accomplish our goal and fulfill our promise to bring everyone back home safely. Unfortunately, I would soon come to learn that I had not completely succeeded in remaining out from under Team Void's radar. As I was traveling towards Lavender Town to restock my supplies, I was approached by a girl who seemed to be about my age. I thought nothing of it and greeted her as politely as I did everyone else, but my disposition changed instantly when I saw the uniform she wore with the familiar Void Insignia on it. It became apparent that she was here to either detain or kill me as she challenged me to a battle, which I accepted as we launched right into the fray. My team fought their hardest and did everything they could against their opponents, but her Pokemon were just so strong... unnaturally so at that, and proved to be too much for my own team to handle. In the end, I could only watch helplessly as each and every one of my partners were brutally cut down by our foe, but I still refused to give up even when the last of my Pokemon had fallen. If I was going to die, then I would go down fighting, an honorable death to herald my attempts to fulfill the promise I had made in the aftermath of the tragedy that stole my family away and left my home in ruins. I continued to stare her down defiantly, even as her Pokemon approached me, prepared to give the blow that would ultimately spell my demise. It was then that Daguerro, my most beloved Pokemon since childhood and beyond, picked himself up off the ground where he lay, and with the last of his strength and a burst of second wind, threw himself in front of me at the last moment. He knew that he wouldn't be able to survive the attack in his critical state, and yet he still sacrificed his own life in order to save mine as his final, ultimate act of undying love and loyalty. I felt my heart practically rend in half as I heard his anguished cries, watched his broken, near lifeless body crumple to the ground in front of me as he took the finishing blow meant for me. Practically beside myself with grief and loss, I could only pick up his limp, bleeding form and cradle him, so that he would be next to me in his final moments of life. The assassin could have easily killed me then in my state of weakness and vulnerability, and yet... she hadn't. Instead, she ran off, leaving me to grieve the loss of my team... Daguerro's loyalty and tenacity had saved me in the end, and yet... both he and I knew that nothing could be done to help him, he was too injured for any kind of potion or Pokemon Center to save him or any of my Pokemon now... I could only hold him closely, singing one last song to him as I felt him breathe his last, watched as the light finally fled from his eyes... I spent the next couple of days performing funeral rites for each and every one of my team members... Their bodies are now buried in a forest grove near Lavender Town, far away from where they would be disturbed by anyone passing through the area. I spoke my final prayers for them, promising that I would come back to visit them whenever an opportunity presented itself. I then set off for Johto with determination in my eyes and my goals laid out clearly for me. I would have to start over, build from the ground up with a new team, but I intend to stay true to my vows and carry out justice against Team Void as payback for taking everything from me. My family, my home, my people... and my Pokemon... I would assure that their deaths were not all in vain. They deserve better than that, because they were just as much family to me as my parents, and everyone who had lived on our beloved home, Five Island.

My primary hobby is drawing and sketching, which I used to do a lot during my free time when I was younger. I carry with me a sketchbook filled with all types of drawings, pictures of people that I've met, places I've been to, and even artistic representations of my old Pokemon team before their unfortunate deaths... To me, my sketchbook is a visual representation of my memories and the story of my life, from childhood up until now. I also enjoy cooking, a skill I had picked up from watching my mother prepare meals for our family as well as the Pokemon she cared for in dad's Daycare. I'm actually a very skilled and exceptional chef and can prepare meals for large companies with the help of my Pokemon, though I'm always modest about my skills. I tend to focus a lot on bonding with Pokemon while training them, and I treat them as if they were a part of my own family. I enjoy taking walks through the woods sometimes, it serves as a sort of conduit for me to get rid of any burdens that I bare. Ever since I lost my old team in that battle with the Void assassin, I've started taking these walks on a more regular basis as a means of channeling my grief away and remember brighter times. I've even taken up learning how to play music on an ocarina that I had made myself, because music always helps to soothe and calm me down when the emotions brought on by the tragedies I've faced become too much for me. Some people have told me before that I'm too nice for my own good, but I'm truly trying my best to maintain a strong front for everyone, even if my world on the inside is dark and stormy. I hope to make new friends that may be able to help me put my sorrows at ease, or maybe even aid me in my quest to save my home and my family. Even more so, I hope to love and cherish the new Pokemon that I will acquire over the course of my journey as much as I had loved my former friends, partners, and family...
I believe the theme that fits me most would be Valentine's Day by Linkin Park. This song is in dedication to my fallen Pokemon partners... I hope you all are happy and at peace where you are now...
Notes 46-49: It's been several months since my encounter with the Team Void assassin who wiped out my entire Pokemon team... It's been so tiring and lonely, just wandering around for so long, can't remember the last time I was able to work up the will to even talk to anyone. But I guess it's about time that I started looking for new things. A new start, a new Pokemon team... maybe even some new friends. My travels have brought me to the Johto region, which I guess is as good a place as any for new beginnings. Here's hoping.
Notes 50-53: I got my new starter today after I paid a visit to Professor Elm's laboratory in New Bark Town. I was tempted to choose a Cyndaquil as my starter, but I feared that it would only cause bad memories to resurface. So I instead opted for a Totodile named Samoa. I met with someone else, a young girl who was also starting a Pokemon journey like I was named Fey Marquee. We got to talking, and eventually decided to travel together. I think I might have potentially made my first friend in a long time... I guess we'll just have to see where it goes from here.
Notes 54-57: Upon entering Cherrygrove City, Fey and I were suddenly swarmed by Pokemon that we added to our team. I encountered a Salamence that seems proud of its power, and it seemed to deem me as a worthy enough trainer to join my team. Even more surprising was when one of my old Pokemon from my former team, my childhood friend Daguerro, came back to me. How he was able to come back is beyond me... and if Pokemon reincarnation truly exists... Either way, I was more than happy to be reunited with my best friend. Fey even got some new teammates herself, a Snivy, a Rotom, an Altaria, and a Mawile. We've decided to stay around for a while in case more Pokemon might want to join us.
Notes 58-61: Seems we've picked up another traveling companion while we were hanging around in Cherrygrove, a very interesting boy named Giovanni Versechi. He says that he was a part of Team Snagem sometime before, and I have my suspicions of him based on that information. He seems relatively harmless, however, and I suppose I could trust him to some extent for the time being... He's also an apprentice of Jasmine, the Steel-type Gym Leader in Johto, which is quite interesting in its own regards. In the meantime, I've acquired another Pokemon to add to my slowly growing roster, a cute little Sylveon that Fey had come across. Fairy-types are relatively new to me, and Fey seemed to be okay with me taking the Sylveon under my wing. We're preparing to head out to Violet City to challenge Falkner for our first badges, best of luck to all of us!
Notes 62-65: Natalia, that's the name that Fey and I decided to give this new Sylveon that's now accompanying us on our travels. I always thought the name was beautiful... and I really feel bad for the little girl that went missing from her Hoenn home that Fey had told us about... If anything, Natalia will be immortalized in the shy little Sylveon that has taken after her name. We'll be preparing to fight Falkner soon, Fey has already gone to get her badge and we're going to the Sprout Tower to train.
Notes: 66-69: Success! We managed to beat Falkner and have now earned our first Johto League Badge, and I owe the victory to Kaizer. We wouldn't have stood a chance against Falkner without him. In the meantime, Fey and I are heading to the Trainers School to check it out while Gio's getting his own badge.
Notes 70-73: Kyurem... why such a Pokemon was all the way out here in Johto is beyond me... We came across Kyurem on our way to the Center, and Fey is really hurt... She seems quite a bit better now thanks to Nurse Joy and her assistant, Aria. I've done a bit of research into Kyurem during our stay at the Center, turns out that it has some ties to two other Pokemon, Reshiram and Zekrom, truth and ideals. I can't help but feel bad for the poor creature... lost, weak, worn out... I'm sure Fey can become a good trainer to Kyurem from now on.
Notes 74-77: How odd, it seems that we've received invitations to a Halloween Ball of some sort by a Mr. Raphiel. I have no idea who this fellow is, I'm fairly certain I've never met anyone with that name at any point in my life. And moreover, how was he able to determine my name and my exact location to send this Ghastly? This is very strange... I'm getting the feeling that I shouldn't get myself involved in this, but the idea of a Halloween Ball sounds like fun. I wouldn't miss out on the opportunity to attend such an auspicious event for the world, and Fey and Gio will be there as well so I won't feel completely alone. Let's see how this goes then, shall we?

Even though I only met her briefly back during the Halloween Ball, Isis has proven to be a very kind and respectable individual in my eyes in the few minutes I got to speak with her! As a Pokemon lover, she definitely earns quite a bit of respect from me, and I can't help but feel ashamed that I know very little of her accomplishments... I would've loved to get to know her more, but I had to make sure that Natalia was okay when she suddenly took off... At least I have her number, and maybe I'll run into her again sometime in the future. Still, I can tell that Natalia's conflicted over her old friend, considering that she ran away from Isis when we bumped into her in Union Cave...

Much like with Isis, I only got to meet him briefly during the Halloween Ball. Zero's a pretty cool guy to me, and he seems to take pretty good care of his Pokemon as well! I wonder if maybe he has a crush on Isis, but that's not really any of my business to get involved in. I was only able to talk with him for a few minutes before Natalia ran off to the bathrooms and I followed to check on her, but I'm hoping that maybe we'll run into each other again sometime. I might even take up his offer of a Pokemon battle once I get my team trained up enough!

We’ve known each other for maybe a few months now, but I’ve come to think of her as one of my best friends, if that’s possible. After our initial meeting back in New Bark Town, it’s just been adventure after adventure, and not a day goes by where I don’t regret having met her back then! I do worry for her, quite often, and it only seems to have gotten much more frequent after that encounter with that Void grunt and I ended up finding out her real name. Still, it doesn’t matter to me who she is, she’s still my friend, and I intend to regard her as such. On the other hand, it’s created a bit of awkward tension between us… Sometimes I feel like some things were better off not being known, but I really do hope that it won’t stop Natalia and I from being friends. I can only hope, whatever happens is left to what Arceus has intended for us…

Gio is a very casual, headstrong kind of guy, and he always seems to not stay in one place for very long. I guess I can’t blame him, being an apprentice to a Gym Leader like Jasmine is certainly quite a big deal! Maybe he just wants to impress her, and I’d certainly look forward to when the apprentice is able to best his tutor! He’s definitely very funny and enjoyable to be around, and I guess we do have a bit of a friendly contest going to see who can earn all of the Gym badges first or something. It certainly injects some enjoyment into our journey, and Gio definitely seems like the kind of guy you can count on to get you out of trouble! Truth be told, I did have my suspicions of him at first, since he is an ex-member of Team Snagem, but overall he’s actually a really cool guy in my book!

October is a very kind and sweet girl, but I can tell that she needs some help in building up her self-confidence. I know she’s capable of being brave when it counts, and I really feel that I owe a lot to her for all the help she gave us back at the Halloween Ball. No matter how I try to look at it, I’ve come to accept that I’ve started falling for her… After everything we’ve done together, from starting out in New Bark Town to enduring the horrors of the Halloween Ball… It’s really no wonder why Nyomii and Aria were trying so hard to push us closer together, and there’s no denying that I would love Natalia with all my heart if I could. I don’t care who she is, whether she’s Natalia Jones, Fey Marquee, or even both at the same time. Maybe I’m crazy for falling so hard for her, but I just can’t help it… and I only fall harder and harder the more time we spend together. There’s something about this guy that just… really bothers me. He wears a mask to hide his true identity, disguises his voice, and spouts mostly cryptic information regarding himself. It really bothers me when I can’t see someone’s face, or have no idea of what their intentions may be. I have my suspicions of this guy, even though he didn’t seem to want anything apart from a battle when Natalia and I ran into him in Union Cave. Still, I’ll make sure to be better prepared if I ever meet him again…

Quite a proud and regal-type of fellow, I guess I was quite lucky that Kaizer thought that I was worthy enough to be his new trainer. The Salamence has proven how reliable he is time and time again, from helping me win my first Johto badge from Falkner to saving Natalia and I at the Halloween Ball. I'm glad to have him as a member of my team, as a member of my family, and he has shown that he has a sweet side to him as well~ If only he and Samoa could learn to get along, however...

I just love this little cutie to bits~ Shy, doesn't say much, but she definitely has a motherly side to her and is always willing to lend a helping hand~ She's still learning quite a bit, but she's definitely starting to come out of her shell. I was honestly surprised she was willing to stand her ground and battle during the Halloween Ball, but she's proven that she can hold her own quite well in combat. Of course, it was a combination of withstanding enemy attacks and friendly fire from allies that stopped her in her tracks, but she proved to be a real trooper all through the fight~

There's something about Aria that just strikes a certain chord in me, maybe it's how she seems to take on a motherly sort of role. Regardless, Aria is very reliable in a pinch, and her extensive medical knowledge is certainly a welcome addition to the team~ She has a good sense of humor, and is always willing to help out whenever and however she can~ Needless to say, I was scared for her when she was taken away from me during the Halloween Ball... and it was perhaps for the better that I was too busy with tending to Natalia's injuries when she finally came out during the huge battle. It surely would have torn me apart to see her as a zombie... and I'm rather glad that I didn't. I was glad when she came back to me, and I promise that I won't ever let her go again...
